It was the best experience we have ever had. He was wonderful and we have already referred him to others. He did not take a dime from us until the wall was done. Very professional.

Kevin came out initially for the consultation. We actually had arbor work done first in the spring, then Kevin's team came out in fall. They did the actual work in a single day. Good work, very professional and fast. Guarantees plants for one year.

They are great to work with and have excellent ongoing service after project completion. The project itself went smoothly, and his team was polite and worked very quickly. He warranties all of his plantings, and true to his word, has replaced any that didn't quite make it. The price is a little high, but in my opinion, well worth it in the ongoing service you get. I highly recommend this landscape company.

Kevin and his team are extremely professional courteous. When Kevin initially came out, I was glad to have him provide an initial vision of what should be done. I do not have a green thumb, by any stretch of the imagination, so I wasn't sure where to begin. So, I appreciated that he had such a solid plan. Once he explained everything to me, it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, so it was reassuring to know that he was right on target for what I wanted. The day the work was done, Andy and his crew came out and were extremely nice and professional. They were very quick and efficient to get things planted and cleaned up. One of my 60 plants didn't make it, so I called Kevin and he came out to take a look and will be replacing the plant shortly. I've also had him look into other areas of my yard where I'd like to have work done. I have a lot of work that I'd like to do in stages and I plan to have Kevin do it all! I would recommend him to any and everyone!

Kevin and his company are very customer driven, which made this one of the best experiences we have had with a service provider.

Kevin was very punctual as well as his crew. They clearly explained to me the work that was to be performed. The landscaping looks wonderful and exceeded my expectations. They ground additional stump in my yard that we had not discussed in the quote at no extra charge. A lot of work done in two days. I highly recommend.

Every aspect of preparing for & completing this extensive project was handled by Kevin James & his professional crew. We were fortunate to have Dustin oversee the production management of our project. He worked well with his guys & kept Kevin informed of all aspects of the job. He addressed incoming concerns like the pro that he is & calmed nerves as the project began. Kevin has a wonderful management style, & it shows in the people he hires. Dustin & his crew were super, & they are truly an extension of Kevin. Dustin's crew arrived on time every day working like a well oiled machine & finished each day by cleaning up. I was captivated by the seamlessness of the work. When one undertakes a project to this magnitude, the expectation is that there will be some major crisis. A major crisis never reared its ugly head, as it didn't have the opportunity to. Dustin and Kevin kept a very close eye on this project and put out small flames keeping all major crises at bay. They did great work!

Kevin is punctual, practical, and to the point. His crew is amazing. They are on time, work hard and fast, answer any questions, and get the job done quick!!!! He is not the cheapest by far (particularly on say the paver pathway), but for a difficult or complicated project such as ours that involved drainage issues, we couldn't have been happier. He is trustworthy, and you can be assured that you not only get a great outcome, but also, the process is easy and smooth.

Very professional and honest. Had a significant load bearing wall that needed to be rebuilt. Kevin correctly declined to take on the wall (hired a structural engineer and general contractor). As a result, I called Kevin back for the landscaping after the wall was rebuilt. Great knowledge and use of creative plant material while also sensitive to what will work given climate, soil conditions, and sun/shade. Great with drainage, hardscapes, and lighting. Strives for customer satisfaction and is flexible if design plan should be changed once on site. Great design work and creative. Would be nice if Kevin had his own irrigation crew. We had a consultation with Kevin a long time ago. He was very punctual and extremely professional. He listened to our concerns, gave us his honest opinion, and we also liked his design ideas. We wanted to spruce up the yard a bit before home sale at the time, but decided against it in the end for cost benefit reasons. We would definitely have tried him again now that we have moved to a new house, but turns out he doesn't service our area. :(

He was very professional, very prompt, and very honest. He told me that to put the drain I would have to tear out my bushes. I realized I needed to do this. When they left, they left a prepared bed for any landscaping I wanted to put in. They cleaned up exceptionally well. Reseeded the lawn. They were terrific to work with.

Very professional & courteous. Also quite responsive. They had some great ideas & did a very good job with the installation. The only caveat is that these guys are very expensive. They use the best plants & materials, which naturally cost more. However, their mark-up is still quite substantial.

The work was done correctly, no short cuts. It is nice to contract with a company that does things the way that they are supposed to be done. The crew on site was very professional, and explained how the project was done. They were already very knowledgeable about the project when they arrived on site. Very glad I selected this vendor for the job, and will use them again.

Kevin was very prompt and remains that way with every single call I've made to him. He's patient and completely invested in having successful clients. He immediately knew what to plant and what would thrive. Not only does he have expert landscape knowledge, he's also a native North Carolinian so he knows what's going to make it here. His design was absolutely gorgeous. In only 3 very short amazing days (our front yard is about 1/2 acre), his brilliant, courteous, dedicated crew took our horrible yard and turned it into the crown jewel of the neighborhood. He also added a wonderful extra space onto our driveway. We've already re-hired him for another project and plan to have him back out in the fall for our lawn. Thanks Kevin!!

Kevin knows both landscape design and the appropriate plants to be used under the various conditions on our property. He showed us how to meet the goals we had defined while conserving on costs. Daniel made certain that everything was installed to our satisfaction and even moved several trees and shrubs after they had been planted to meet our requirements. Kevin James Landscaping is one of the most professional, customer-focused teams I have had the pleasure to work with. The plan they designed was first class, the implementation went without a hitch, and the quality of the plant stock was the best.
