Every aspect was excellent. Kevin and his entire crew were creative and flexible. The overall result was far above my expectations. Communication was prompt. They did everything they promised and more. They worked quickly and efficiently. The best experience I've had with anyone doing work at my home. Although I got a lower estimate from someone else, the result was more than worth the difference.

My landscape looks magnificent! They arrived on time and worked hard and were very efficient. The supervisor, Andy, always comes and gets me if he runs into something unexpected which I appreciate. Andy also walks the property with the customer after completion to make sure everything meets your approval. I have been working with Kevin James Landscape since 2003 and have had great experiences every time. Kevin and his team always exceed my expectations!

They were very diligent workers even in driving rain. They arrived early every morning and finished on time. Over all they were very professional, and I would use again.

Kevin is a "wow" factor landscaper. Dustin, his project manager, is a rare gem in that he has a true passion for the trade. They were complete, came up with a beautiful design, and did the necessary planning around grading and drainage to complement all the aspects of the plan. It made my house a home! I strongly recommend them for talent, ethic, professionalism, and above all for their ability to completely plan from drainage and grading requirements all the way up to keeping our outdoors in bloom year round.

He was here all day. He came with a large crew. They were all friendly and professional. He was reasonably priced too, though I don't remember the exact price. He's very good at responding to any calls and answering our questions. He's great at getting a price back to you as well. Kevin James, the owner, is very knowledgeable about what plants would be good for your yard and what would look good too.

The original work that we had planned to do was for the first wall only which was a bit more than half of the project total. However, after we saw the quality of the work and the impact on the property, we asked Kevin and Dustin (one of his supervisors) to do more. They were very cooperative and treated me like their only customer. We added the second wall, landscaping, some stairs and lighting to the original project. Dustin's crew did a fabulous job with everything but they built some stairs that wildly exceeded my expectations. What started off as a replacing an old wall which was washing out turned out to be a focal point of the property. All of this at a reasonable price. Especially considering the difficulty of work on the first wall. These guys just don't give you a reason to use anybody else. Best experience I've ever had with a contractor of any type and I will use them again soon. If you need any landscaping work you'd be nuts not to call Kevin.

It was a wonderful experience. Kevin James is extremely knowledgeable and creative. Andy, Kevin's project manager, knows and loves plants, has an excellent eye for effect, and is a delightful person with which to work. Andy and I went together to look at my plants which gave me an opportunity to see what I was getting before the plants were bought. We made a few changes when we saw some particularly pretty plants. The flexibility and customer care was exactly what I was looking for, and I was not disappointed. Before contacting Kevin (there is a statement on Angie's list that Kevin doesn't service my location near Northlake Mall), I interviewed four other landscape companies. None of these other companies created the trust in the final delivery that I immediately had with Kevin. This project was a joy from the beginning to the end thanks to Kevin and his team.

When an informal sprinkler system I had in the back broke during the work, he replaced it without discussion, even though my original system was poor quality and may have failed on its own. I have had no more problems with the retaining wall since Kevin fixed it. He installed it level and straight (unlike the first guy), and even improved on the shape and placement (with my permission). I will definitely use him again. I recommend him highly.

He is super nice. They come when they say they will and actually do more than they say they will. They go above and beyond. I will use him again in the fall for the backyard. I thought the price was in line or better or than most.

We were looking for someone to do some grading/drainage work around a garage that we had built, and called Kevin based on his reports in Angie's List. He did take a few days to call back, but that may have been due to the fact that we called just prior to a holiday weekend. Once he called, he was very friendly and would have liked to help, but said that he would not service our area (East Charlotte). Kevin did, however, provide the number of a former employee who he would suggest for the work who would service our area. We're looking into that now.

They were good and very fast. The crew was easy to work with and very knowledgeable.

I think we had to wait a few weeks because of Kevin's busy schedule, but the work was done efficiently and we've had no problems since. I would definitely recommend Kevin to others.

Great, it took three days start to finish and by the end, the property had been vastly improved.
