I don't believe I could have asked for the job to have been performed any better ... nor with more care and concern than the working crew did! They were extremely friendly and listened intently to my concerns and suggestions. This is one HARD WORKING group of landscape professionals! Andy was the crew leader and worked equally as hard as the others ... but had obvious control of all aspects of the job! If you are looking for a QUALITY landscaping job ... this is your team! As others have said, the price is a bit steep but I can assure you, unequivocally, you will get MORE than your money's worth! I've already gone back once (for Phase II) ... that is complete. And I've gone back a second time ... phase III is pending -- and I have NO worries! The job will be done with care and concern, in a truly professional manner! No need to look more -- Kevin James Landscape, Inc ... they are your answer! And, by the way, Kevin has a way about understanding what you will want ... and helping you develop your ideas into a wonderful addition. You'll not regret ... I promise!

Kevin James, the owner of Kevin James Landscape, knew what lighting effect would work for my house. When I called up Kevin James and spoke with him he was very professional, very businesslike clean-cut, and well spoken. He just got right down to business and I got a comfortable feeling that Kevin James was a reputable businessman. I would hire Kevin James Landscape again.

The work was performed on schedule. The work crew was professional, polite and very thorough. The yard actually looked much better after they completed their work, despite the fact that the entire front of our home was dug up. After they were finished, they spread pine straw and even planted grass seed where their truck had been parked. But, most importantly, the drainage problem was solved and we no longer have standing water when it rains.

Kevin and his crew did an outstanding job. He carefully listened to our needs/desires and made many good recommendations that we did not consider that actually saved us money. One of the things we did based on his recommendation was to cut some trees in our natural area and relocate our trampoline that was in the middle of the yard. That really opened up our back yard. They cleaned out our side natural area, cut down some dead trees, pruned dead limbs, turned it into a planting bed, relocated the original plantings that were provided by our builder (the standard contractor package) to the natural area and covered with pine straw. The relocated plants were replaced with more drought/heat tolerant plants (we get full sun in the front) and extended the front bed from the front of the house down along the side of the house and created 4 new beds at the end of the driveway. Finally, they amended and tilled my rear yard, which was solid clay (hard as a clay tennis court), power seeded and laid straw. Also, overseeded my front yard. I would definitely use him again for our next landscape project.

Kevin was very responsive and professional. He returned my call right away and e-mailed me an estimate the same day we met. The installation went very smoothly. We are very happy with our beautiful new landscaping!

Kevin was available, responsive and punctual. Met all commitments to a tee and on time. Javier and his team were punctual, hard working and professional. I work from home and Javier and I met each morning to discuss the work for the day. He added some great suggestions which improved the end product. Enjoyed working with this company. The experience was great. Called Kevin based on a referral. Kevin called me back within a day. We set up time to met. He arrived on time. We walked through my yard and we discussed options. He sent me a quote by EOD. I agreed to work 3 days later and we scheduled job for 10 days out. On day of work, Kevin arrived on time with his crew. He had a supervisor who was my on site primary contact. His team worked diligently over a two day period and completed the job on time as promised. The whole staff was very professional and responsive to my questions and minor requests to tweak what we had agreed to. I've had a couple of follow up questions since they completed the job and Kevin has responded to me within a day. I was very pleased with Kevin, his whole team and the job done. I would highly recommend them to someone else. Kevin listened to what I wanted to do and he gave me advise where I needed it. I especially liked that he wanted to preserve my natural yard and did not try to turn my yard into a manicured environment. He didn't over recommend things to do; he just helped bring my yard back to what it should be. While it was pricey, I think the quality of the work was superior and the amount charged is in line with what others would have charged me. I could have just cleaned up my yard and that would have been a big improvement. However, with Kevin's help I landscaped my yard and it looks great. I've received lots of compliments from my neighbors and have noticed many cars slowing down and stopping in front of my house to take a look.

Kevin's team arrived on time and were professional. The wall looks great. I would recommend them to anyone with a large or small landscaping job.

They did a great job -- answered call and sent estimate promptly, arrived on time, worked efficiently. They even made a last-minute change in one type of shrub at my request, and did it cheerfully. The house looks MUCH better with the new landscaping!

They were very timely and they did what they said they would do. There wasn't any attempt to renegotiate if they ran into any problems. All of the employees belonged to the company, they weren't contracted. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves.

The work was customized for us - once Kevin realized that we have 2 boston terriers, he focused on selecting plants that would be hardy enough to stand up to the dogs. His crew also did some clean up work in other areas of the lawn while they were there. We did not ask them to do this, nor were we charged. I always have a great experience with this company. They go beyond the call of duty and leave our landscape looking beautiful! Kevin is reliable, professional, and an expert in his field. Andy, his crew supervisor, is the best! They always manage to exceed my expectations. I always look forward to their visits to our home.

Fantastic. They were on time, clearly communicated their objectives and timeline, asked for my opinions as the work progressed and paid great attention to detail, even pruning some ivy that we hadn't originally noticed. Kevin also followed up on the work promptly. Definitely recommend.

Kevin was friendly and very punctual. His estimates were emailed the same day! Unfortunately, at this time his estimate was higher than we could afford for the project, so we went with another vendor. They did a fantastic job! Though it sounds quite simple, the outcome was drastic. The yard looks so clean now, and it really opened up the front of the house. In addition, our bed outlines are now shaped again, and they look beautiful with the wood chip mulch. And we finally have green grass again! In addition, they helped us move several bushes to a new and better location in the back yard, and mulched that area as well. This was above and beyond their scope, but they knew how important it was for me to save these bushes. I really appreciated this sensitivity. The crew was polite, professional, and easy to work with. I would use them again in a second, and would recommend them to friends as well. I can't wait to have them come back and work on my back yard when we can afford it (it needs a LOT of work!).

Working with Kevin James and his crew was a great experience and the overhaul of my yard could not have been more dramatic. The quality of the brick work on the back patio and front walk is top notch and the landscaping looks great while incorporating my specific requests. Kevin worked with me to find plants for the back yard that could coexist with my dog and then did more ornamental plants and flowers outside the fence. My dog has a habit of digging so he put chicken wire down under the beds to limit the damage she could do. He also worked a vegetable garden into his design and accented the entire project with lighting. As part of the overall project, I added a new fence and concrete driveway and while Kevin James Landscape does not offer these services, Kevin still acted as the point person to schedule the other contractors and make sure they worked within my design. The finished product looks great and even after completion, Kevin has been responsive to my calls about care and maintenance.
