Gutters and down spouts installed as requested. The removed gutters were chopped up and carried off in their van. No mess left behind. It was installed firmly to the house with minor improvements recommended by them while I was there. Nicely done, It's truly a family operation. Father and son do the work, Susan does the estimating and scheduling. Small negative, probably typical of small businesses : I am accustomed to detailed proposals so everyone involved knows what is expected. In this case, and others I've dealt with recently, the proposal is not fully itemized and leaves room for interpretation. However, we worked through it and I am pleased with the results. Steve R. I called Jumbo Gutter Co. and Susan returned my call the same day. She made arrangements to come see my damaged gutter within a few days. A few days later, she came by and noted that my gutters were a specialty variety that she doesn't work with, but she took the time to investigate the type/brand of gutter that I have and left me a detailed note with the information. Susan followed up with an email as well. She saved me a lot of time. Very, very professional experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jumbo Gutter Co.

I glanced at the Angie's List rating of "A" and called Jumbo. Susan was prompt to return the call and schedule an appointment. She came to see the job at the appointed time and said she would get back to us with an estimate. I waited nearly two weeks and heard nothing. I looked up their phone number and called again, as I was calling I started to read deeper into their Angie's List reviews. I see this is something of a pattern. I will pass on working with them. I will say, at least she called back. One company never returned my phone call. I guess the good times have returned for construction companies, this is like 2005 and 2006.

Contacted Jumbo Gutter co. Explained we had an issue with a leak and believed that part of it was caused by gutter problems. We scheduled a time. Susan showed up on time and was polite and professional. The problem is as follows: 1) no actual assessment was performed, 2) I was told it could have been several other issues (which is fair), and that 3) they would be getting back to me to assess the issue and fix it. Nobody every showed up and I never heard from them again. I called someone else and they fixed the issue which was CLEARLY gutter-related.

Every aspect of this job went smoothly. I was most impressed when Susan came to my home for an estimate to address the problem of rain overflowing our gutters. We had received a few estimates previously, and they all told us we needed to replace all of the gutters on the house (and buy larger ones) to fix the water-runoff issue. Susan said we should be able to solve the problem by just changing out the downspouts - costing a fraction of the other estimates. Then - when Bill and Brett came to install the new downspouts and larger gutters for the porch, they showed me they had brought all supplies in the color I chose. However - they advised me that I would probably not be happy with that color and recommended a darker one which they thought would blend in better with the existing gutters. Frankly, I didn't see the difference, but I trusted them, and agreed to go ahead with the new color. That delayed the job 1 day, they fabricated new items in the color they recommended, and came back the next day to install the materials. In the end, I can say that they were absolutely right, and my downspouts and new gutters blend in beautifully with the existing gutters. So glad I listened to Brett and Bill. AND....there was no additional charge for changing the material and coming back a second time. I highly recommend this group and would definitely use them again.

Susan is fantastic. It was refreshing to have someone come out and quote without a sales pitch. Her quote was accurate and right on. The work was performed as promised and it was as smooth an installation as could be. I definitely recommend Jumbo Gutters.

Disappointed. Although quick to come out and review the work to be done, Jumbo was slow to actually perform the work (rescheduled three times from 08/01, 08/11, and 08/18). In addition to cleaning the gutters, work included replacing a small 6? span of gutter (standard K-style white) and replacing one 5? downspout. After work was performed, I noticed a significant leak coming from the new gutter's end cap. Reported that and forwarded a photo of the leak; Jumbo said they would address the issue within the week. As of this review, I am now into the second week of waiting for this to be corrected. Communication has been poor, having to initiate most of the followup myself. Because of the frequent rains we were having at the time, I was willing to overlook the initial delays in getting them out to do the work. But not so now, seeing that standing behind their work is not a priority.

Susan is so knowledgeable and spent time explaining everything to me at our initial visit. Her husband, Bill, and son, Brett, did the work. They were efficient, polite, and extremely friendly workers. They did a great job for us. Bill even made a suggestion that will help us with a problem we are having with the watering system in our front garden. From the initial visit to the completion of the work was less than two weeks. We would hire them again for sure!

I just can't say enough about these folks...they did an extraordinary job. Every aspect from their pricing, communication, and arrival to do the job was spot on. The gutters and downspouts look like crown moulding has been added to our home. The color suggestion that Susan made was a perfect fit for our house.They cleaned up after themselves and even hauled away my nasty old gutters that were full of leaves and debris. Don't hire anyone in Hickory to do your gutters unless you want to get ripped off. If you need gutters and want them done right and at a fair price call.... Jumbo Gutter!

It was excellent, they did a wonderful job. Timely, they came when they said they were going to come. They matched up the paint with the outside of the house.

.Arrived when they said they would. Went to work right away. One man did the cutting, the other did the installing. Had no problems with any of their work. They wanted to change the direction of a couple of the downspouts to make the house look better and it does. They asked me before they did it. For me it showed how much they care for their customers and work. They were done in about 4 hours. Fastest guys I've ever seen. The gutters look great. They make the house look so much better. My wife and I could not be happier with the work and the price. I would highly recommend them to anyone for any kind of gutter work. They are good people doing a job as best it can be done.

The best gutter people I've ever seen. Tons of experience, integrity, respectful, and pleasant to be around. They were hired after the original gutter company I hired failed to perform as promised. Apparently, a blessing in disguise. Highly recommended.

On Tuesday they told me they would be at my house on Thursday to review and give an estimate. They did not show and did not call. Received text next day apologizing for not showing. I am tired of contractors not showing when they said they would.

Our gutters were overtopping in several places, but this was also part of our larger project of keeping the crawlspace dry and moving water away from the house. They're really busy and it took awhile to get them to come out. The email communication was a little confusing. But when the crew came out they worked fast and did a great job. I don't know if it was a good deal or not but it was definitely worth it to me and I would use them again. I wanted the gutters finally done right.

Another vendor had cleaned the gutters, however, they leaked worse are repairs were made. After two visits from them I called Susan and arranged for repairs to be made. Her crew was prompt, personable, and very good. After repairs were made there were no more leaks onto the back porch, even in the recent down pours we've had.

They did an excellent job. They were very good. I called her one day and she said that she would meet me in the morning. She was here right on time and gave me an estimate on the guttering. I called back and told them I wanted to do it. Two days later they were right here and had it done. It was excellent service. They were prompt and cleaned up afterwards. I couldn’t tell that they had been here when they got the job done except that I had new gutters. They were fantastic.

The install and replacement of our old gutters could not have gone better. We had many color choices to choose from and had narrowed it down to two selections. Susan helped us with the color choice and it is a perfect match. This is a family owned business and we are very pleased with the completed job. They were on time and cleaned up any mess from removal of our old system that had seen better days. Once the job was complete they walked us around the house and were very helpful with our questions. We will be looking to install a leaf cover system before fall. When we do, we will use Jumbo Gutter for that project as well. Great company to work with as we enjoyed the entire process.

As always, Susan is top notch. This is why I use her exclusively for all of my rehab projects. She was even able to match the color of the trim (linen) from a photo I sent. Amazing. it looks unbelievable (as always). Thanks again Susan for a job well done.

Did a great job and Susan and her crew were very easy to work with. We changed our minds on the color on the day of installation, and was no problem to change it. Price was great compared to other vendors.

Probably one of the easiest companies to work with and get the job done! I called Jumbo Gutter, Susan came to our house within a couple of days. She left a quote at the door. I called her back and scheduled a date. She was very flexible and worked with me as we were dependant on the roof replacement to complete. The crew came out the day after the roof was finished and it looks great! Only issue was findng some sharp pieces of gutter parts in the yard, but mostly the site was left clean.

The company was very responsive to my needs and questions. After receiving several bids from many highly rated companies on Angie's List this bid was the lowest of them all. Even with the height of my roof they did not see any reason to add additional cost to my estimate. Upon further review of my issues, Susan recommended additional items to aid in overall water drainage. After work was performed I am rethinking the recommendation and will use this firm again. They are very knowledgeable and honest with the problems I was facing.

I contacted Jumbo Gutter to repair several gutter sections that were not draining properly. Susan came out and gave me a quote for $250. Not knowing what would be required, I agreed to proceed. The crew came and spent a TOTAL of 30 minutes at my residence, only tightening a few screws. They claimed that their solution had been tried before, and if the problem happened again, it would require replacing the brackets. I don't know a lot about gutter repair, but it sounded to me like they did a duct tape type job, rather than an actual fix. They then proceeded to collect $250 for the 30 minutes of work (duing which they performed a less than complete repair). I don't know many people that make $500 / hour, but I do know that gutter repair man should not be at the top of that list. Had the team started working and realized that more work needed to be done, I have no doubt they would have increased the price. For what they did, I would have thought they would have decreased their price accordingly. I contacted Susan, and she never returned my call. I sent a follow up email, and finally got a reply stating she thought it was a fair price - Not in my world. I will never use them again, even to fix the less than complete job they already performed.
