Issues to start bu tthe provider resolved the issue to my satisfaction.

They did a great job. They arrived as scheduled and worked until a storm ended the day. Next morning they finished the job. We were especially pleased with the color of the gutters. We picked out a cream color and it was perfect.

Quick in scheduling estimate, friendly and professional, prompt in arriving on scheduled date for work, flexible in working with my schedule, good quality work. Fixed fascia board in most areas; noted extensive rot in other areas and suggested outside carpenter do those repairs. Flexible in fitting in a second visit to finish job at short notice once carpenter had finished. Good overall experience, would definitely hire again.

The gutters look great. Payment was easy and the price was great. Scheduling was flexible to accommodate the painters. The weather caused us to have to reschedule gutter installation a couple of times. Communication wasn't bad; they always responded to my calls. I would've given them an A on responsiveness if they had been more proactive about contacting me regarding the delays in installation due to weather.

Excellent experience. They came right out for the estimate and it was fixed within a few days. They also replaced a little wood rot that they spotted while working on the gutter

They were able to work with the architecture of the house, which was a big plus to us. The roof of the house had support beams that extended out beyond the roof. They did a great job. We went the whole gamut including looking at gutter guards.

Couldnt be happier- well worth paying the extra cash to have a pro double check them- I ws a bit of a pain trying to schedule the date- they had called me twice when they had cancellations but I couldnt take the short notice appointments. I am thinking about at least one new downspout and Jumbo is the only people I'll call for the work- they are the best in town

Work was done well. Only issue was with communication. I was actually going to start to look for someone else to do the work after initially receiving the estimate, because a phone call was not returned to find out when the work was going to be done. Then, I received a call that they were doing the work that day. I am happy that the work is done, and they did a good job. A little advance notice of the scheduled work day would have been appreciated.

Three gutters capture water from steeply pitched roof sections of our house. During a normal rain these gutters overflow. We asked Jumbo Gutter to replace these gutters with larger gutters to correct the overflow. Jumbo Gutter suggested replacing the downspout with larger downspouts to correct the problem - essentially make a larger drain hole. We agreed this made more sense and contracted the work. While performing the work a crew member remarked we may need a deflector installed at a gutter corner to channel the water toward the downspout. He suggested we wait until the first rain to determine the need. The first rain came and he was right - we needed the deflector. A side note - the downspouts worked great - no overflow when raining. We conctacted Jumbo Gutter to schedule the installation of the deflector. Within a couple of days the deflector was installed at no charge. Overall the experience of working with Jumbo Gutter was great!

It is refreshing to deal with a company that tries to sell you the best product for you particular situation, rather than the most profitable one. That is exactly how Susan at Jumbo Gutter treated me when she came out for the estimate. The gutters were thoroughly cleaned prior to the installation of the Leafproof gutter guards. There was a small section of guttering where the Leafproof gutter guards could not be installed because there was metal roofing rather than shingles. The installer apologized that Susan missed that on her estimate, and showed me a vinyl screen that could be installed in its place. I was satisfied with how this was handled. I didn?t give an A grade for professionalism only because of the helper that assisted the company owner with the installation. He spent most of the time standing on the roof talking on his cell phone (personal calls). As a result, the job took much longer than it should have to complete, and I was concerned about the quality of the installation on the small portion of the work that he actually performed. However, it seemed to be OK.

My experiences with Angie's List companies, up until Jumbo Gutter, has been outstanding. Everyone I've used, and it's been quite a few companies, has been professional and provided a good experience as well as services. I contacted Jumbo Gutters on May 18, 2009. When I called the number provided, a female said, "Hello." Thinking I had misdialed, I inquired if this was the Jumbo Gutter number. She indicated that it was, she was out of town, this was a cell phone, she had my number on her caller ID and would call me back on Wednesday, May 20. (Kind of unprofessional but giving the benefit of the doubt, I waited.) So far, 2 weeks later, I have not heard from this company. They have quite a few glowing reports so this is a major disappointment that others should perhaps be aware of before considering this company.

This is the 2nd time I've used Jumbo Gutters. Bill and Susan have taken care of me both time. Their prices are very good. They quote honestly. The work is excellent. I would never hesitate to work with them again.

A great experience- if I ever have to replace gutters again I'll definitely contact Jumbo Gutters. These people are honest, punctual and quality oriented. They'll make recommendations that could save money and/or improve performance, quality. After receiving their quote I scheduled the installation. Bill showed up on schedule to remove the existing gutters. He found lots of rotted fascia board underneath that needed replacement. When I balked at the additional cost to replace the fascia board (not in the budget) and told him I would prefer to replace myself he recommended the best grade of wood that I could use and agreed to reschedule the installation. While discussing the features/benefits of gutter covers it was determined that an error had been made in the original estimate- over 40 feet of gutter/cover was not included in the original estimate due to a misunderstanding. When I offered to allow him to requote the job he insisted that they always stick with the original quote even if it meant losing money. He returned on the agreed upon date to install the gutters/covers and finished as scheduled. He insisted that I contact them if I noticed any problems. Lo and behold the rains came the next day and I noticed leaking at one of the corner seams. I called and within a couple of days Bill stopped by and sealed the corner seam. One of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. They truly care about their clients.

Very impressed with their service, professionalism, and timeliness. Our house has a lot of irregular bump-outs, and John put a lot of thought into what the best solution would be before starting the work. Because he makes his own downspouts on-site, he was able to custom-fit them to several odd angles. We were happy enough with the quality of work that we had them install some additional gutter several weeks later. Very honest--didn't try to sell us more than we needed, and even suggested more efficient (and less costly) ways to deal with water runoff than we had asked them to provide. Would definitely use Jumbo Gutter again!

Susan came out very quickly after calling provided me with an estimate. Work began the following week. We knew there were several rotten boards but they checked around the entire house to make sure the rest of the wood was ok and at that time they recommended adding a drip edge because the water was not flowing propoerly into the gutter. Everything was explained thoroughly and they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. The weather became a problem, but they were here the following week and finished the job. They were very professional and cleaned up everything. Very nice job and we would recommend them to our friends and family.

I am very happy with Jumbo Gutter. There were a few glitches (see below), but the company was extremely responsive and straightforward and there was no question at all about addressing any problems in their work. Let me give more detail... They came out for an estimate when they promised, and were very honest and helpful. Work was delayed by bad weather (ice in gutters), but they were very careful to let me know what was going on and to reschedule for as soon as possible. In addition to the cleaning and repairs mentioned above, they paid a great deal of attention to detail and to "doing it right" - for example, they sealed the corners of the gutters, where water was leaking out. They asked me to be sure to check it when it was raining some time, and call them back if any of the corners were leaking or if I saw any other problems. One problem I had was that they damaged the gutters in one area where they had to remove and reinstall them to fix the fascia board. The bottom of the gutter was all scraped up. Upon seeing that, they immediately offered to either replace that section of gutter or paint it. I chose replacement, and they did that within a day or two - no arguments. The only other issue we had was that they were not quite thorough enough in cleanup. We had bits of metal from their work as well as clumps of debris from inside the gutters laying on the ground in our flower beds. This was not a major problem, but better clean-up would have been nice. On price, I was particularly pleased with their price for replacing the rotted fascia boards. I expected to have to pay more.

I called on a Monday, spoke to Susan who said she would drop by on Tuesday to assess the repair, told us that we didn't have to be home she would leave a note of the estimate. Tuesday night she called to say that it had been a busy day and that she wouldn't be able to make it until wednesday. Wednesday came and went. Thursday there was a note on the front door to say that they had called but no one had been home and if I was still interested to call back. I called and said yes I was still interested and why had they not left an estimate. Apparently they were concerned we may have a dog and didn't want to come into the yard. However the loose gutter is at the front of the house and not in the yard. They promised to come back on Friday. Friday no one arrives. Saturday I received a call from someone who was a little difficult to understand but I believe he was telling me that Jumbo Gutters had been unable to get out to do the estimate but that if I was still interested he would come out and take a look. I declined and called a more professional company.

Susan came out to estimate the job and was very pleasant and professional. The quote of $150 was very fair, and the job was done on time and the new gutter looks great. I had been told by another company that it would be hard to find someone to do such a small job. I appreciated the fact that Jumbo Gutter was willing to do it and I'm very happy with the result. Will definitely use them again if I have any more gutter replacement needs.

Susan came to talk with me about my gutter replacement. She was very friendly and provided me with a written quote very quickly. Most gutter companies seems to want to sell me extras - not Susan. After agreeing on an installation time, the job was done quickly and exactly as promised.

I was pleased with the entire experience from estimate to completion. Susan was very prompt in providing our estimate as well as patient while we got other estimates for the job. She made outstanding recommendations on complementing a "hard-to-match" style on the outside of the house that we were extremely happy with. The installation crew was prompt and quick. Gutters went up in a morning and have functioned flawlessly since. Clean-up was perfect. The crew made it clear that they should be called with any issues or questions on the gutters anytime after installation. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Susan was early for her estimate appointment - and went right to work getting the numbers. She broke out everything into easy to understand numbers, and I had the estimate in hand when she was done. She gave us options to add new bigger downspouts which we will do with Jumbo Gutter this spring. Susan also left behind a real sample of their gutter cover which was very very helpful as we decided between 3 different products. I really liked the leaf-proof gutter cover a lot- it was the best option for our home where we have huge trees dropping acorns,leaves, and nuts onto the roof and into the gutters- we needed something that works- you can see the product at www.leafproof.com. Te guys had an emergency fix before coming to do our install- they were just over an hour and a half late- I was told to expect them after 9:AM they got to the house at 11:AM I don't mind contractors being late so long as they contact me- not the other way around. I had to call and see why they were late. I had the day off but they did put me an hour and a half behind on my schedule for the day. I would have appreciated a call. The 2 man crew went right to work- and I stayed out of their way. They had to apparently rebalance and lower a lot of our 20 year old gutters - but again - they went right to work- not complaining in any way. My wife and I left to vote and run errands- and when we got home at 1:PM they were finishing up the job - all the gutter cover were done- they were just doing the final downspout. Its hard to assess gutter covers on a dry day- so the real test will come when we get some heavy rain- but the installer said if we had any problems to give them a call. Despite a late start - I couldn't be happier with the work- price and quality of what I got from Jumbo Gutter- we will have them back to add better downspouts this spring for sure.
