The owner was the one that came out. The work was done without issue, they cleaned up well and they stopped our leaks. They were very nice and gave me good advice on my roof.

Very satisfied! Staff and crew very helpful and responsive. Received quick call backs and answers to our questions. Rick (salesperson) stayed very involved in whole process. We had quotes from four different places. This was the only one that responded quickly to our many questions and explained all aspects of the job. Roof looks great and our water issues are all resolved. Job was done quickly and they cleaned up everything. We did have a couple little issues.. One portion of the roof was replaced without paper. This was over a small overhang that was not part of the main roof. Informed Rick and he had them come back out the next day and redo the work. Rick was very apologetic and made sure it was done correctly. Also, ladder marks and falling shingles made multiple marks on siding. The crew cleaned most of the marks. Would recommend pressure washing house after roof replacement. However, this was expected considering the amount of work done to the roof.

I felt very comfortable scheduling this work with Hollingsworth for two reasons: 1) Angie's List reports, and 2) Rick was very professional, polite, willing to explain terms and details to a non-handy person and because he didn't press the job!! Hollingsworth arrived at my home on the agreed upon scheduled date, performed the work, and left absolutely no mess. When I received the invoice, it was the exact estimate amount (how often does that happen in today's world!). I feel comfortable knowing my roof has been maintenanced, and I will absolutely hire Hollingsworth again in the future for any future roofing needs. I have also already recommended this company to two friends who have roofing needs. THANK YOU, Hollingsworth!

Called and spoke to Craig, the owner and described the property. He offered to meet us on our schedule or go by and do the estimate on his own, which we had him do. He then offered us samples of colors to take on our own time to match, which we did. The office manager accepted our selection and gave us a date. Then the operations foreman called to confirm the date and ok a schedule for material drop off. The crew showed up on the day planned and went at it. I showed up the next day to check, and they were gone! Job complete and the yard neater and cleaner than when they arrived. The only evidence besides the beautiful new roof was a business card from the operation manager on the front door with his cell # asking if we were satisfied and if we had any feedback.

They showed up on time and used tarps and returned everything to where it was before. Finished the job and it is great. You would never know they were here except for the new roof. Thanks!

I haven't had any problems since they came out. They were very professional and very timely. They were right on with their quote. The only downfall with them is that they don't take credit cards, they only take cash or checks. I could see a problem with this in an emergency situation. If needed I will hire them again in the future.

Called about work and received a estimate via email the following day. Called to schedule the work and they were available the following day. Everything fixed.

Hollingsworth came right out to inspect the damage and give an estimate. Their representative was very professional, courteous and punctual. The estimate came when it was promised and was detailed. Amazingly, they were able to start and complete the repair job the next day. Looking back, if they had not responded so quickly, we would have had more water damage as it rained within a few hours after the job was completed. The person performing the work was very courteous and cleaned up after completion. Even the estimator from our insurance company could not believe how fast they did the job, how well they did it and for a very good price.

The first thing I notice about Hollingsworth Roofing when I called to arrange an appointment for an estimate, was that Ashley Hollingsworth was very polite & was a pleasure to talk to. Craig Hollingsworth came out the day after I called to give us an estimate for the job. He explained exactly what they would do. His crew arrived on time & he introduced them to me so I would feel comfortable to have them around. The job was done in two days & they cleaned the debris up each day. Craig called my husband at work to make sure we were happy with the job. This was a very pleasant experience & I would not hesitate to hire Craig again.

Truthfully, it couldn't have gone better. Rick showed up as scheduled to examine the damage. We had leak around a pipe in the roof that was dripping into the house. Rick advised that pipe collars generally last about half the life of the roof. I asked about the water damaged roof decking. He said that they typically like to avoid replacing it b/c, as is known, cutting into a roof line is always risky. However, in our case, a small area was spongy and mildewed so we opted to go for replacement. We also had him replace another pipe collar to avoid a future problem.

Their estimate was comparable with the other two companies. I liked that they are family run and I could deal with the owners. I had some scheduling issues and they were very accommodating. The crew arrived when promised and worked two long days, always cleaning the site as they worked. Very good experience, I have recommended them to several neighbors.

Rick gave us a fair estimate and then Craig the owner helped us decide on the color by looking at a couple houses in my neighborhood - I gave him a few home addresses with roofs I liked. The crew arrived at 9am as promised. Rick, our salesman, was onsite with the crew and introduced me to the supervisor who told me he would take good care of my house. They removed the roof which was very messy as they threw old tiles all over our yard. They worked through the day to remove and replace the roof. They removed our back gutter, and removed the damaged eave and siding on the eave. They replaced the eave, and reattached the siding. It looked great! They workers totally cleaned up our yard and driveway - it literally looked better than when they started. We could not find any tile pieces or nails anywhere in our yard! Our roof looks great. It was a wonderful experience considering that replacing a roof is not the most exciting thing in the world. High praise to everyone at Hollingsworth!

They did a superb job. They were a pleasure to work with.

Very fast job which was good since the noise of re-roofing can be deafening. Weeks after the job, I noticed a crooked vent pipe. Craig Hollingsworth came out and examined it from the attic. He did what he could but hot water heater isn't totally in line. He assured me that there was no danger. In the process he determined that someone (probably original builder) had walled up my gable vent on the inside of my attic, thus making the attic hotter than it should be. I would have never figured that out so am quite pleased with his observation and solution.

Great. No effort on our part to facilitate the fixes.

I did not use this company because their quote was the highest of any other, and their proposal seemed "vague." They were very nice, polite, and quick to respond when I requested a quote. If their proposal had been more detailed, I might have used them (if I could see where the $600 was going). The company I went with was only $350 for the same work.

They provided great customer service. They showed up on time and did the work on schedule.

Hollingsworth was quick to respond to my e-mail inquiry for an estimate. They came out within the week to provide the estimate. We did not choose Hollingsworth because their estimate did not seem to be as complete as other estimates received. (Other estimates looked at the entire roof, not just for the reported problem.) Hollingsworth was also higher priced than another equally qualified in ranking Angie's List contractor. Since we did not choose Hollingsworth yet they were quick to respond to our request for an estimate and were higher priced, they were still very professional and did estimate on the work requested, so I still give them an A for the estimate provided, friendliness, responsiveness.

Although they were a day later than expected, once they got started they were efficient and self-sufficient. Appeared to work marvelously well as a team. They protected all areas and plants from the debris and kept it all from accumulating. The work was finished in the estimated total time of two days. Since the job was completed we've found only two items in the surrounding 360 degree yard left from the job.

They were excellent. I called, and they fixed it the same day. I was amazed! They were very, very good.

I really liked the fact that Craig, the owner, came to home himself to give the estimate for the job. The job was completed, before the scheduled date.

From the initial contact with Ashley Hollingsworth, through the estimate from Rick McLaughlin, to the actual roof job, everything was approached and completed with total professionalism, competence, and customer consideration. Extreme care was taken of our landscaping, and at the end of each day, organization of materials and magnetic nail pick up left the area clean and safe. During a rain storm, the workers mounted a tarp tent and continued working until the necessary steps had been taken to assure no leaks occurred. The workers were consistently at the job and able to communicate easily with us. Not only did the company do everything it contracted to do in the promised time, but the job came in under contract. We also appreciated the recommendation for an equally productive gutter company.

We received an estimate, but decided on another company. Hollingsworth was prompt and professional. They came highly rated. However, we went with another Angie List company that is closer to our Mooresville home and came in with a much lower pice. Unfortunately, the travel time from Charlotte, combined with gas prices, often means a higher price for those of us in the Lake area. We went with the other company which is local, and we were very pleased. If I were in Charlotte looking for a roofing contractor, I would definitely talk to Hollingsworth.

Very polite, very neat and clean, came when they said they were going to. Nice quality job. Did a nice job of tying the shingle colors together.
