I and my neighbors were extremely impressed not just with the final high quality roof, but the work they witnessed being done. The actual wood on the roof was damaged further than I expected but it was all handled with a smile. Working with this group was a pleasure and the job was so well done, I left their sign in my yard for a month. Excellent excellent excellent!

Made appointment by e-mail. Roofer was courteous and on time. Took a picture of the roof to show me what was causing the leak prior to beginning repairs. Explained my options, e.g., re-shingle area or re-do entire roof, but said my roof had a couple more years left in it so he'd probably recommend just the re-shingling for now. Worked quickly.

He fixed the problem in five minutes. He was a very nice guy and professional. He was unusual in his profession, in a very good way. He had fixed what two other people could not.

They did a great job and fixed an additional leak without increasing the price.

I want to thank Craig Hollingsworth for his service. I called my regular roofing company and asked if I could have someone come by to check on a roof repair because there were signs of a leak on the ceiling in the dining room. The company said it would be 2.5 weeks, 9/15. Hurricane Hannah was being predicted to produce rain in the Charlotte area for Fri 9/5 and Sat 9/6, and I felt there was a little more urgency needed than 9/15. They said they were the only ones in town who did small jobs and were booked, I decided that "No, they're not" and I can check Angie's List for other alternatives. I called Hollingsworth, explained my need and the urgency I felt there was. They were friendly, accommodating and available to come by in the next 48 hours to check on it. When Craig came by, he went up on the roof, hammered the "problems" down and made a customer for life. He charged nothing, left a business card and the beginnings of a partnership for a future roof replacement. THANK YOU, Hollingsworth for the quick and courteous response to the customer need. I am so glad you are in the Charlotte market.

Hollingsworth company has been very easy to work with from the start. They were prompt, proficient and professional. We asked them to provide us with an estimate for replacing the entire roof and told us only a portion of the roof needed replacing. They answered all of our questions and completed the work in a timely manner.

Went great overall. They were very responsive and got someone out in less than a week. The job was done in a few hours and looks great. I've already noticed a difference in my A/C costs.

Overall, it was excellent. They came out and did an estimate then I called them back a few times and asked them some questions on what they would be doing. I agreed to the service. The crew that came out was excellent, the crew was nice to me and they answered all my questions. They cleaned up everything. I took a lot of pictures. They installed some gutters incorrectly so the owner came out himself and looked at the gutters and had a guy come back and fix them.

This was the time we had used their services. The estimate was right on. They were very professional, followed up on their work and we are very pleased.

They arrived on time to do the work. They did a good job. They seemed to know what they were doing. They were very easy to talk to. He did the same thing that he did to our house to his house.

It went great. The crew arrived as scheduled. They were friendly, worked hard and kept us informed of the project as it progressed. They finished on schedule and cleaned up after themselves very well.

They are the absolute best. If there was an A+ in every category I would give it to them.

Fantastic. My neighbor used Hollingsworth Roofing for her roof last fall and said they were so great. I then checked Angie's List and saw all of the other good comments. I only half believed it because I have very high expectations of companies and their services and am often disappointed. Not this time. From the first call I made requesting an appointment to the thank you letter they sent after receiving my payment, everything was top notch. Craig Hollingsworth had the patience of Job with me as I picked out colors and tried to visualize how it would look for 30 years on my roof which I am terrible at. He put 6 samples of colors on my roof and when I finally narrowed it down to 2, he helped me decide on the final. I was still a bit skeptical of what the final choice would look like, but now that it's on, I love it! Hollingsworth was willing to work out a special situation with materials for me, as well, that saved me a good deal of money. Everyone on staff that I spoke with was helpful and professional as well. What a great company!

My heating and air conditioning company found a leak in my son's ceiling while doing some maintenance work for me. They told me that it was coming from around a vent pipe in my roof. I joined Angie's list today and called two roofing companies from the list. I expressed my concern to Mrs. Hollingsworth that with rain coming this weekend the leak would get worse. She said she had a man out doing some repair work and would send him over to fix my problem. Sure enough he came and fixed the flashing as well as checking the rest of my roof and doing some general maintenance. Now I can enjoy the much needed rain without worry.

Just SUPERB. Always arrived promptly on-time or earlier and even Mr. Hollingsworth came by! Repairs completed precisely as outlined and precisely on time. Every person from Hollingstorth Roofing who appeared on property was neatly attired, their vehicles looked clean and well maintained. The office kept in touch with me on the status of replacement parts (a new skylight had to be ordered and received). Extremely professional throughout the whole experience. I can certainly see why Hollingsworth Roofing has earned the high marks and awards they receive. They are well deserved.

I had called about replacing extremely bad skylights. Craig Hollingsworth came and checked them out the very next day. I then received an email with the estimate of the work. I was very impressed with the follow up to the quote. I agreed to have the work done. It was scheduled to happen about 2 weeks later and a few days before the work was to be done we had torrential rains. I called Hollingsworth roofing and told them I was concerned about our old skylights leaking before they were scheduled to be replaced, so they sent someone out to cover the skylights until they came to replace them!!!! No charge! The day they were replaced the work was done efficiently and with perfect detail. From start to finish, every single person was polite, professional and most of all went above and beyond what was required. Hire these people! Don't look anywhere else. Side note: At a later date, I had a patch of wood on the facia (under the gutter) that was rotting. Thought it was a roofing problem, so called Hollingsworth again. They immediately took a look at it and they called AND emailed me to let me know it was not a roofing problem, but a handyman job. They went ahead and gave me an estimate as to how much longer my roof would "last" (2 yrs.) AND then gave me a phone number for a great handyman to do the job. I'm telling you these guys go the extra mile for no reason other than they are of good character!!

The entire experience, start to finish, was absolutely great! When we called for an appointment, a live person answered the phone and made the appointment. Very friendly and professional. We requested a call when the crew was on their way and we were called, as promised. Their crew member was friendly and professional, arrived on time, and completed the repairs quickly and efficiently. He even replaced a large piece of siding that had come off our chimney, without any additional charge. Their price was very fair. We were mailed the invoice as we had been told, paid it, and received a paid receipt along with a thank you letter. All of this took place within one week's time. We had all but lost the ability to believe there were still any reputable, competent, efficient, and knowledgeable companies out there. Excellent customer service is still alive and well at Hollingsworth. We very highly recommend them.

When I phoned on a Sunday afternoon, the response was very calm and reassuring regarding the situation. My roof was repaired ASAP and the bill was very reasonable. I would definitely call Hollingsworth Roofing again should I have a need for any roofing repairs. I highly recommend their company!

The company did not call to schedule the job; the workman did not tell me once he arrived. I was in my bathroom when he removed the skylight and looked down at me a shock! I asked him to be careful as the room had fresh paint. The workman made dark marks on the paint. The new skylight had an opaque coating, perhaps sticker residue. I telephoned, and the man returned and removed most, but not all, of it. The company demanded payment. I said the job was not done and sent photos showing the residue. The company suggested I hire someone to remove it. I requested information on the skylight and a cost breakdown for tax reasons. The company said I had to pay first. When the company threatened to call a collection agency although it hadn t finished, I realized it was not going to finish. I paid. The cost breakdown showed I was charged for the skylight (as expected) and for the company s insurance. I had to pay others to repaint and to clean the skylight, so my cost was higher than expected.
