They did a fantastic job. They came out right away, gave us a quote, answered our questions, and finished the work quickly.

Very hot week in charlotte, over 100 with heat index. Professional team arrived, introduced themselves and went to work. Very careful about throwing things off roof. Picked up as work completed. Took 3 full days. Had to come down of the roof during the hottest part of day. Then returned when it cooled enough to work. Hard workers. Courteous. When I asked one of the roofers what they found, I was directed to the roofer who was their team leader. He carefully explained what they had found in terms I understood and and showed me where the problem areas were. He even went to the trouble to explain an area that had had incorrect flashing that directed water behind the wall and that this needed to be checked for mold and damage. He didn't have to explain that but took the time to do so. Obviously they care about their customers. We were very impressed and would use this service again!!!

The vent for a new tankless water heater needed to go through a very steep roof. The plumber was unable to do this, so I called Hollingsworth Roofing. They coordinated their dates available with the plumber to get the work done. Also, while on the roof, needed replacement shingles were installed. Very good work and timely.

Excellent service. Very easy to work with, and they did exactly what they promised, including daily clean up. Their showroom made picking out the shingles easy.

Our A/C person advised there was water leaking into the attic. We expected to have to replace the entire 1998 roof. They came out, inspected the whole roof, but advised we only needed minor repairs. Turns out the roof has some time left in it, which will give us a chance to save. Cost was exactly as estimated and we got an appointment earlier than expected. Very direct and honest and everyone was super to deal with. At our request they also sent an estimate to replace the roof if we want to do so later.

They showed up early and got right to work. The crew did not know that this was supposed to involve new plywood (not just shingles) -- they were surprised and had to go to out and get what ultimately ended up being 40 4x8 sheets of OSB. Their price did reflect a volume discount for the OSB though. The 5-person crew worked from about 9 am to about 8 pm the first day, and then from 8 am to about 2 pm the second day. Once everything was done they cleaned the entire yard up from debris, including running magnets everywhere to pick up the nails. A few days later I received their invoice, which was back-dated to 3 days before they started work. Ashley Hollingsworth was great to work with and usually called me to confirm things, instead of what I expected to have to do, which was call them 3 and 4 times. In particular, she called me about 4 days before the work started and confirmed everything, including the time, work description (including the new plywood/OSB!), and shingle style. When I did have to call her she was either available or would return the phone call promptly.

We had noticed water running down a vent pipe in the attic and could see daylight around the pipe at the roof surface. Called Hollingsworth Rfg and made an appt. They came out two days later. The young man was very nice, explained what he found and how he had fixed it. An invoice arrived a week later for a reasonable price. He gave me personal recommendations for a handyman to help with other things around the house like caulking windows because I am disabled. Very pleased with my experience with this company.

In July 2009, Craig offered a quote on replacing my roof. He attached a letter to the quote that said that there was hail damage to the roof and encouraged me to contact my insurance. My insurance company sent out an appraiser, who found no damage. They agreed to send out another appraiser to meet with Hollingsworth to reconcile the two opinions, but Hollingsworth then claimed that the letter had been sent to me in error. I opted to hire another company that stood behind its word.

I was referred to Hollingsworth by a coworker, who told me to ask for Fred Hollingsworth. When I called the company I was told "Fred isn't available". When asked what times I preferred an adjuster to come out to give me an estimate on a new roof I replied mornings before 11:00. I was asked, 'how about tomorrow at noon?' No, I replied, I need before 11:00. 'How about next Wed at 11:30?" No, I replied, I need before 11:00. At this moment a dog began barking so loudly on the other end of the phone that I could no longer hear the person on the other end. Because a coworker had recommended this company so highly, I called back the following day. Almost immediately a dog began barking, again, so loudly I could not hear the person on the phone. I chose not to use this company.

Extremely professional, punctual, and polite. The owner does the assessments, then generally sends crews to do the work. He checked my problem out, identified a quick fix to my problem, and told me to call him back if I ever have a serious issue. No charge and no attempt to sell unneeded work.

I found him to do a wonderful job on our project. I will use him again in future.

My experience with Hollingsworth Roofing was excellent. Sales rep., owner, experienced quality workers/crew, follow-up, communication, accessibility. All top notch. Price was competitive (had other bids). Very, very skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects, large and small, of roofing process. Crew worked carefully and cleaned up well afterwards. I did my research prior to my decision of selecting a roofing company and I am very pleased with the outcome and results. Leak barriers and flashings are well done. A superbly professional company operation.

Estimator showed up as scheduled, within a few days of initial call. We wanted an appropriate repair to simply keep the roof from leaking for the next year or two, since we plan to remodel and put on an entirely new roof. Scheduling contacted me that day and said they could do the repair within one week, particularly before the holiday. Their technician arrived five days later and completed the repair within one hour. The company perfromed exactly as I expected.

It was perfect. They were on time, knowledgable and responsible. They had a very good price.

They were very responsive in taking my order and providing a written estimate. I was told both verbally and in the written estimate that the work would be performed in 2-3 weeks. However, the work was not performed until 5 weeks after the I contracted with them, and I received no notification during that period that the work would be delayed. This is the reason my overall grade for this service was a B rather than an A. I was pleased with quality of the work they performed and would use them again for repairs or a roof replacement. However, I will discuss the work schedule in greater detail before I contract with them again to ensure we both agree on when the work will be performed, and what the notification process will be if there are unavoidable delays.

They were very professional. Their communication was professional and it seemed like their workmanship would be better than the other estimate I got. We are going to use them to replace our roof.

They did an excellent job and I was very pleased with them. The crew did a great job and they were great as far as clean up. I?ve recommended them to another person because of my experience with Hollingsworth.

There was a leak in the roof that was fixed by another roofer. We found that he had not fixed the leak. We called Hollingsworth Roofing. They came out. While going into the attic the technician accidentally knocked off a picture and the frame broke. It was a cheap frame; not of any consequence. We told him not to bother about it. He found the leak, fixed it and did not even charge us. There have been many heavy storms over and over. It has rained heavily too but the roof has stood up. It was not easy to find the leak because it could have been channeled through some other areas of the roof. The other companies were only packing off the shingles. This company was able to identify the exact spot of the leak and fix it well. The staff was friendly. The roof was under a contract. They could have charged and should have charged us because the roof lasts for a lifetime and they were taking care of it.

Craig came out to give me the quote. He was very informative and explained all of the steps of the process. He took the time to break down the pricing structure for me and informed me about everything do that I could make an appropriate decision. They came out right on time for the project. They were great about answering questions and returning my phone calls.

They gave me a reasonable estimate. They came and did the repair, and most importantly the leak stopped. I have recommended them to other people. The lady that runs the show sent an engineer out to look at the roof. He sent someone out to do the repairs. I have had 2 other attempts by handymen to get the leak repaired and the handymen were not successful.

Craig Hollingsworth was prompt and informative and they completed the work with no problems-they cleaned up everything and it was as if they were never here. I have waited approximately 10 months to rate this company because I wanted to make sure everything was ok first. I called the company recently due to some roofing nails I was finding around my house and Craig came and got on the roof and assured me everything was ok. This company was the highest price by over $1200.00 to the next closest estimate but compared to the other roofing companies I believed that the additional cost was worth it to me in piece of mind but that is also why I rated this company as fair in pricing as well.

I chose Hollingsworth because of their exceptional customer service. Each person I spoke to at the company from the owners to the salesman to the office staff was exceedingly helpful. They were very patient and answered all my questions. The crew arrived on the scheduled dates, on time, and worked until dark. Our shrubs were covered by the crew before the work began. They cleaned up the work area, thoroughly, at the end of each day, using a magnetic broom. We have not found a single nail in the yard or driveway!

The company was very responsive and friendly. The came the same day I called to give me an estimate, and the work was completed within a few weeks.

We were very happy with the result. They were great. They provided information, and they came on time. They did what they said they would. They seemed to have a lot of integrity.
