I was very impressed with the people at Heartwood. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. They handled calling the power company to have the power lines removed while they cut down the tree, and the yard looked great! I highly recommend this company! I would give them an A+ if I could!

The crew was originally scheduled about 2 weeks out but they said if they had a opening they would call to do the work earlier. They in fact did call within a few days of the estimate saying they had an opening in two days and requested permission to perform the work. They called ahead of time to assure someone was here prior to arriving. The crew arrived, did the work, were very competent, and completed the work in about 4-5 hours. They cut the trees as low to the ground as possible as requested and cleaned up and hauled away everything. They did a very good job.

Prompt service. Arrived on time (actually early). Cleaned up after all work was completed. Courteous. Completed work in a timely manner. Best of three (3) estimates.

Super professional work. Nothing was damaged. Great care was taken to remove all debris. The sawdust was even blown off the roof. Theirs was not the lowest bid, but the skill and care easily justified the higher cost.

When they got done the yard looked better than when they got there. They cleaned up beautifully. They were nice people and definitely would use them again.

Stephan came out to do the estimate and was prompt and had great suggestions. The 3 seperate crews sent to do the work were great. They left the property in great shape better than I had left it for them! Stephan was great about coming out to look at changes to the initial estimate and was great on follow-up after the work was done.

Charged exactly what the estimate was. Very prompt and neat. Exceptional service! Will call them for any future needs!!!

Stephan came out in October to give me an estimate and describe what could and should be done. He indicated that the best time to do the job would be in February. They called the end of January; scheduled a time indicating that Stephan and two other men would be doing the job. They delivered what was promised in the indicated time frame and stayed under the maximum originally estimated.

VERY HONEST, WHICH I APPRECIATED. PHYSICALLY DELIVERED A CHRISTMAS CARD TO OUR HOME WITH LIVE FRESH MISTLETOE. THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY, ARRIVING EARLY AND RESPONDING RAPIDLY TO PHONE CALLS. AFTER THEIR WORK IS DONE, YOU CANNOT TELL THEY'VE BEEN THERE.

Very Good..they were on time to give the estimate, received it in writing, completed the work on schedule and were very neat.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. EXCELLENT. PRUNED 3 LARGE TREES AND PUT UP A SWING SET.

Gave estimate for pruning one very large tree and removing two medium-sized trees. I got three estimates: of the three, Heartwood was the most professional, most punctual, and most knowledgeable. Unfortunately their quote was a good deal (30-70%) higher than the other two. However, on a very sensitive job (ex. large tree over house) I would probably use them despite the price.

I had an appointment in the afternoon at 2:00. At 2:30, no one came, so I called and was told my appointment somehow didn't make it into the arborist's Palm Pilot. I rescheduled for the next day. He called 20 minutes late and told me he would be there within a 1/2 hour. Peter was very friendly and helpful. He told me my tree needed to be removed. I got an estimate for half the price, so I went with a different company.

Heartwood did a fine job cutting and removing the trees. The problem I had was with the stump grinding. The grinder cut my telephone and cable lines, and I was without internet service for two days; a big problem given that I work from home. They sent me a bill for the full price of the job, so I called the owner because I thought I should get some kind of discount because of their big goof. He wouldn't budge. He said the grinder didn't know the utility lines hadn't been marked yet, though it was blatantly obvious there were no paint marks anywhere in the yard, and that the stump grinder "wasn't a rocket scientist." Claiming that your own employees are stupid is unprofessional and it's not an acceptable explanation. For a company that charges as much as they do relative to other tree services, they should do better.

ON TIME, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. RECOMMENDED AGAINST TREE REMOVAL AND TOLD ME WHAT KIND OF FERTILIZER TO USE TO HELP THE TREE. I WILL BE CONTACTING THEM SOON FOR THE STUMP REMOVAL.

AFTER THE INITIAL ESTIMATE WITH ANDREW, (NOW RETIRED), A CREW OF 4 WORKED TWO DAYS TO REMOVE 9 TREES FROM OUR RESIDENCE. THE CREW WERE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE OUR PROPERTY AND CLEANED UP SO WELL YOU COULD HARDLY TELL THEY WERE HERE EXCEPT FOR THE LIGHT THAT SHOWN WHERE THE TREES USED TO BE! PATRICK GEORGE IS THE OWNER AND HE AND HIS STAFF WORK AS A TEAM. PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PRICE REFLECTS THEIR EXPERTISE. THE WORK WAS DONE RIGHT! THEY SUB WITH A STUMP GRINDER PERSON WHO TOOK OUT THE STUMPS. AS IS COMMON WITH IRRIGATION SYSTEMS LOCATED NEAR TREES, MINE WAS CUT UP WITH THE STUMP GRINDER. NO PROBLEM! THEY HAD AN IRRIGATION COMPANY COME AND REPAIR THE LINES - FREE OF CHARGE! WOW!!! VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK.

EXCELLENT--QUICKLY CAME AND GAVE ESTIMATE--THEN ARRIVED WHEN THEY PROMISED FOR THE WORK--DID WORK WELL AND WITH AS LITTLE MESS AS POSSIBLE.

ANDREW CAME TWO BUSINESS DAYS AFTER I CALLED FOR AN ESTIMATE. I HAD A LIST OF QUESTIONS THAT HE WAS VERY PATIENT TO ANSWER AND EXPLAIN. WHEN I MADE A DECISION TO GIVE HEARTWOOD THE JOB, I WAS TOLD THEY COULD GET TO ME IN, IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS. THE VERY NEXT DAY THEY CALLED AND SAID THEY WERE FINISHED WITH A JOB EARLIER THAN EXPECTED NEAR MY HOUSE, AND ASKED IF THEY COULD COME OVER WHILE THEY WERE CLOSE AND GET MY JOB DONE. THE GRINDING OF THE STUMP HAD TO BE SCHEDULED FOR THREE DAYS LATER, BECAUSE THIS CREW DIDN'T HAVE A GRINDER. THE STUMP WAS GROUND ON THE THIRD DAY, JUST AS I WAS PROMISED IT WOULD BE.
