They are excellent. They have been out twice. They had to split up services. I have a lot of really big oak trees. They are 3ft diameter oak trees. It was expensive but they did a ton of work. There were 5 workers that came to complete the service. They left the area very clean. They are very professional and very safe. They are going up and down trees, working with chainsaws, dropping tree limbs out of the trees. They are hanging on limbs and doing something that is incredibly dangerous and these guys are so professional. I just have a lot of confidence in these guys because they are so professional and safe about what they are doing. They are insured and bonded. I do not worry about them because they work so well as a team.

Smoothly. The job took about 5 hours to complete. They laid the logs where I needed them, chipped the remainder, and I paid exactly what they quoted.

I couldn't be more pleased. Everyone from the office staff to the crew was professional and friendly. They worked quickly, but safely and cleaned everything up very well, too.

They do excellent work, absolutely excellent work. We thought the cost was reasonable and the work was just excellent. We've had them before about 4 or 5 years ago and we called them again because of the good work they did. We wouldn't call anyone else but them.

I would give them A grading and we have used them in the past. We are repeat customer. There was no charge for the quote. I would use them in the future.

I found them to be a bit negligent and not customer focused. The workers were not very good and unresponsive. They need to work on integrity.

Heartwood provided an estimate, scheduled and performed both pruning and fertilization work and assisted my neighbors with their tree issues in the process. They were punctual, comprehensive in the description of services and costs as well as follow-up. In their tree removal service, they conducted all preparation, removal and clean up services efficiently and safely with minimal disruption to myself or the neighbors

We had a large 100+ year old oak tree that was dying. We live on a corner lot at a busy intersection in town and the tree had huge limbs overhanging a main thoroughfare. We contacted Heartwood thru Angie's List, received a quick response, and Todd Higgenbottom of Heartwood gave us an estimate for the job within a very short window of time. The job would involve getting a permit from the state, getting utilities marked, hiring traffic control and utilizing a large assortment of equipment including a sizable crane. Todd prioritized the job since the tree posed a potential threat to motorists; and a date was set. Lisa and Lana at Heartland's office worked with us on the scheduling and were very professional and accommodating to our needs. The men and equipment arrived promptly at 8 am on the scheduled day and began the process. I spoke with the team leader and some of their specialists, and they were impressive in their knowledge and experience. By 5 pm the tree was completely removed. Work was done systematically, efficiently and with great care taken to preserve the 2 Japanese maples, plants and shrubs that were surrounding the old tree. The stump grinding and deep root fertilization were completed within days of the tree removal. We couldn't be happier with the results and will certainly be using Heartwood Tree for our future needs.

They showed without having a scheduled appointment. This was okay but I would have liked some warning. I also thought it was odd that they suggested that I tipped the employees.

Heartwood is the best tree service around. Always punctual, knowledgeable, professional, and concerned about saving trees. I would not even consider using another tree service!

From first contact to last Andrew Wagner was professional, knowledgeable and listened to our concerns. Crew was well equipped, coordinated, thorough and kept area pristine. Price was right in line with other competitors. After using other tree companies in the past we will no longer use anyone but Andrew Wagner of Heartwood Tree Service.

They were very responsive because it had fallen on the fence. It was actually in someone else's yard too. We came back from vacation and found it. It was a big storm, so they prioritized us and they came out within a week.

Job was performed adequately; however, the crew broke our 6 month old driveway They ended up fixing it but it was a huge inconvenience. We could only park one car on the driveway and I had to take a cab to work for 10 days. In addition, Owner demanded full payment of the job - even though we had extra expenses. Cannot recommend unless you want a new driveway.

They arrived on time and talked through the work with me to make sure they had everything correct. The work went smoothly and they did a great job of cleaning up once the work was complete.

Wonderful professional tree company. This is second time the company has provided services for us. They removed several dead trees in our back yard. We were concerned about damaging some hardscaping and pool cement. As usual they did the job with no damage and extremely good cleanup. Hire them...you will not be sorry.

After arriving right on time the 2 workers started on the maple tree by carefully removing a large limb hanging over our neighbor's roof plus some limbs hanging over our roof. Next they cut this tree down in sections to ground level and took all pieces to their truck. Then they trimmed the two other trees (major trimming on an elm) and took away all cut/sawed pieces. They did an amazing job, were very efficient, professional and did a great job cleaning up all debris. I have hired Heartwood Tree Service company in the past and have always been very pleased with their work and would highly recommend this company.

Last Fall they came by to estimate the job and see what I needed. We set up a date for mid-winter. On that date several months later, at the agreed upon time, Heartwood showed up. Quick work was done, a thorough cleanup followed. I have used Heartwood several times prior to this. They pruned two large pecan trees, and also trimmed several large oaks. Always on time, always great cleanup, always in line with the estimate. As a homeowner there are always issues to deal with, Heartwood resolves my tree issues.

Arrived at quoted time. Began work immediately. Trimmed large maple in front yard. Cut back neighbor's tree limbs that were hanging over my yard on each side of my fence. Trimmed a very shrub that had interfered in my backing out of my driveway. which had created a problem with seeing traffice driving around a bend in the road. They cleaned everything up including some limbs that had fallen from my neighbors trees into my yard. This is the 2nd time I have used Heartwood and I have been very pleased with pricing, the work and the clean up. The employees were very professional and friendly. I am extremely pleased with the work that was done.

This crew was AWESOME !!!! They cut, chipped and removed 4 trees. They dumped the chips EXACTLY where I asked them to. They cleaned up the yard to make it look BETTER than they found it. I HIGHLY recommend their service !!!

They immediately contacted me via phone to schedule the removal after I purchased the Angie's list deal. They were punctual and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and you would not have ever known that they had been there except for the stump was gone. They were great and I would definitely hire them again!!

Absolutely amazing! The tree looks fabulous and my backyard looks better than when they arrived. The team even blew leaves off of the roof - something we did not expect. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly - they gave me good information about the tree. I wish I could rate them higher and I will only use them in the future.

We started by having a consultation with the arborist, and had no issue scheduling and having that done. When we decided to get a tree removed, we didn't have to wait very long for the scheduled date. They came out, did their job, cleaned up, and left. No problems there at all. The stump grinding did take them a while to get done.. almost a month from the tree removal date to the time they removed the stump. They did have get the city out to mark lines before doing it, which I assume was part of the delay. This wasn't an issue for us however, as we no longer had the tree threatening to fall on our garage, and we didn't get billed for anything until the stump was taken care of. Overall we're very happy with the work performed.
