They did very nicely on the trees and did what they could on the hedge. The quality of work was good.

They were great. I called to get an estimate on having the trees taken out and they came out the same day. We took some time to decide if we wanted to hire them. When we decided we did, we called them and they came the next day to do the work.

They are not the cheapest but they seem to be interested in doing the best thing. They were easy to get in touch with and always returned my calls promptly. They were an excellent, professional, and courteous company.

The sweet gum was close to the house, but the workers took extra care to take it down with no damage to the house or surrounding plants. The cherry is 30 years old and they have taken out the dead wood before. Good job.

We had a very positive experience. We were impressed by the professionalism and obvious enthusiasm of the person who came out to talk to us initially and generate an estimate. We asked about whether we should remove some trees that were growing close to each other, and were told that we should leave them alone- adding those to the estimate would have resulted in more cost to us, so it was reassuring that Heartwood would do what was needed, but not more than was needed. The estimate, as well as the estimated date of the work, were right on. The team showed up right on schedule, did their work (even though they were short-staffed) within the allotted time, and left leaving virtually no trace. They also trimmed our crape myrtles, which was not on the original estimate (I forgot to mention that to the person who did the estimate) at no extra cost. They chipped all the trees, branches, etc., leaving us a HUGE pile of mulch to re-distribute in our natural area (that was our request- why pay for more mulch when we had it available?).

We had some trees that died in the backyard. These guys came out, saw that one of our trees was in danger of falling soon and on the house and were back out quickly. They did what we wanted them to do; they did it quickly and stuck to their fair estimate. It was a great experience. We also liked them because they were/are "real" Arborists.

Heartwood Tree Service is a first rate company, but a little over priced. They provide high quality service though. They are very professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable.

I have used them before. They put cables in one of my trees to help keep it stable and reinforce the limbs. He even fertilizes them to protect the root growth. They are very knowledgeable about trees. They are very honest. I always have a good experience.

They wanted $150 up front to go over what needed to be done. If you have the work done, they apply that to the cost. I decided not to use them. They are honest with you.

I was thrilled with the service I received from Heartwood, even though I ended up not using them. I really appreciated the fact that the Heartwood rep was honest with me and let me know that they were not necessarily the best company for this particular job, and that I could save a lot of money by not using them. I ll definitely call them if I ever need a tree trimmed or removed.

These people are impressive! The estimator who came to our home, Craig Errington, is a certified arborist, and was very helpful and knowledgeable. The tree crew was awesome in their love of trees, their skill, and professionalism. They were all very personable and informative about the procedures that they were performing. The trees looked wonderful after Heartwood was done. I wish that I had more trees for them to care for!

I have been using this company for many years. They have always offered me the best service. They are not always the cheapest, but they really are the best in service and quality.

They helped me with some free advice. They said it would be $300 a year to do the injections. They were very helpful and nice. I decided to have the tree cut down.

Heartwoods employees were very professional and knowledgeable in the field of tree health and in determining whether the tree was sound and healthy, or on the way out. We wanted to do anything we could to save the tree if possible, but Heartwoods experts performed the drill test and produced a written report detailing what the various trunk samples showed. In the end, Heartwood recommended that the tree be removed, since the trunk was virtually rotten and dead, and it was risking major damage to our house and potentially our neighbors house as well.

The arborist was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He also explained what we could do ourselves in the future to keep our trees healthy. This company was booked for about 4-5 weeks out, so we've accepted the estimate ($510) and plan to have the work completed, but it will be a few weeks. We don't have any pressing needs or emergencies, so that's fine with us.

Heartwood was very professional from start to finish. They're administrative office is very responsive and they showed up right on time for both the estimate as well as the actual job. They made some suggestions to us on the day of the job that saved us money and we really appreciated that they took the extra time to do that. Their team all spoke English making for easy communication and did a great job cleaning up all of the limbs and sawdust. You couldn't tell that they'd even been in our yard after they were finished.

They did a nice job, and they had cleaned up the mess when they were done. They cleaned up the mess from the storm that we had and took out a couple of trees.

It went great. The arborist diagnosed my tree as healthy. The technicians carefully removed the limbs and discarded the debris.

We had some mamosa tree's. The limbs hung over on the driveway. They cut the limbs so they wouldn't come over the driveway without disrupting the tree or without making it look lopsided. They identified the tree's for me. They worked about six and a half hours and they cleaned up everything. They chipped up all of the limbs. I asked them to leave all of the chips for me and they did so. I had some extremely tall bushes on the side of my house and they trimmed those as well. I was thrilled with them. I have told everybody how wonderful they are. They gave me a typed up description of what they were going to do. He drew up a schematic of my home with all the details of what to do with the tree's. I will always use them.

This is the second time that I have used Heartwood. They are prompt when coming out to give estimates and very knowledgable. Craig Errington was very helpful (This guy really seems to love trees). I was concerned that a second tree needed to come down as well, but he assured me that it looked quite healthy despite losing a large limb recently. They have a reputation as being a little more expensive than their competition but by applying their expertise and avoiding unnecessary work they have actually saved me a lot of money. The crew came out when scheduled and cleaned up nicely after they were done. Although I wasn't there to supervise the felling of the tree, The work was quality... this I am sure b/c the dying tree is gone and my house and car are still intact.
