The visit was very good, but at this time we did not go through with having the tree work completed

We saw the Heartwood guys at a home show and spoke with them and got info. My husband called them after and they were quick to respond and come and survey what we needed. We have trees in front and back that need attention but didn't think we could do all at one time so they were nice enough to give us three different estimates so we could decide how we wanted to do this. We decided front yard first and they gave us a date and time and when we got home that day the work was complete and all cleaned up. We were impressed with the service we got.

Very professional - quote came in quite a bit higher than other services for relatively simple work. I did feel comfortable with the level of service offered, but not for the price.

Simply The Best! With Heartwood there are no worries for the home owner. The Team that came out did a great job, were fun to have around, and amazing in what they can accomplish. Wouldn't think of using anyone else.

They are very very good. They are a little on the pricey side, but their work is work is worth the money. They are very punctual and provide a very good service.

It didn't go well. The receptionist could not have cared less about losing a potential customer.

We spent a lot on their service. They really know trees. Since we spent so much on their service, we definitely expected them to be knowledgeable. We think they are real arborists and they know what they’re doing.

I selected Heartwood because of the reviews on Angie's list. They sent Craig to give me the estimate. I was purchasing my first home and have many large trees in front and in back. Some of the limbs on the trees were resting on the roof. Craig was extremely knowledgeable and walked me to every tree giving me thier health status as well as what type of trees they were. I could tell he enjoyed his job. He answered all my questions. I received an estimate from another company but Heartwood's quote was less expensive. I am very pleased with their work and I will use them again in the future.

I thought they were very knowledgable. I thought they did a good job, but felt they were a little pricy.

They are professional and did exactly what they said they were going to do. The trees were beautifully trimmed and thinned. There wasn't a leave or branch left on the ground and they showed up right on time. They are very busy and may take six to eight weeks to get to you, but they are worth the wait.

I liked that they came out to look at the trees and inspected it ahead of time. They gave us a firm estimate. When the time came for them to do it, they were here promptly and they had all the equipment that they needed. They did a nice job picking up wastage. They worked the way it was supposed to be worked. I also liked that they climbed the trees without using spikes on their feet. I remember they being a little on the pricier side but it was worth for what they did. I also took a coupon from them.

I'm very pleased with all the work they've done. My overall experience with them has been good. Their quality of service is excellent. They came when they said they would. The people I've dealt with have been very professional.

What amazed me was that they were able to do it with no collateral damage to not only the house but the azeleas and other shrubs close to the tree as well. When they left you could hardly tell they'd been there. They are expensive but well worth the cost if you have a tree close to the house, where one wrong move could result in much more expense than the price of the tree removal.

A very large tree fell in the driveway of a rental house that I own blocking the tenants in. It was late afternoon on a rainy Friday and they sent someone right away to assess the damage. A crew was back the following morning to remove the tree and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards.

John from Heartwood Tree Service arrived on time for our appointment at our property. He was courteous, professional and informative. Heartwood was super easy to work with, and responded to be phone voicemails and emails promptly. We did not contract with Heartwood, but only because a competitor under bid them for the same level of service.

We had to contact the company a couple of times to confirm when they were coming out. On one occasion they apologized and said they had not been able to come because of a priority given to cleanup from a very bad storm that had occurred recently. On the day they finally arrived, the crew was extremely professional and polite. They worked together rapidly and made sure both my house and a neighbors was protected from the trees that were being removed/trimmed. Overall emphasis given to safety and professionalism was great!!! Plus, we got several quotes and they were one of the best. As a result, I would recommend them and would definitely use them again.

They did a nice job, completing the work I hired them to do (received an estimate from them before retaining them). What impressed me the most about Heartwood is when they responded to my call after a storm when a large limb on my property came down. This was after I had an estimate from them, but before I hired them for the pruning. They came out and gave some advice that ultimately saved me money (Duke Power cut up most of the downed limb). Heartwood could have taken advantage of this, but they were honest and gave me the advice useful to me. This act clearly sold them on me. I was impressed with the quality and thoroughness of the work they performed.

Everything went well as usual. Thanks to them, my trees are always kept in good order.

It went extremely well. They were on time, did their job just as it had been discussed, and were right on target with everything they did. They cleaned up well and didn't make a lot of noise while they were here. I plan to use them in the future.

I like their expertise in tree care. They are not just chopping limbs off kind of a company. They actually care about the trees. They come in and take care of the tree and not just chop the limbs off. Knowing that they are a tree expert and not just coming in to cut down trees is why I call them every time I have anything I need to have done on my trees.

They were professional, pleasant to deal with, resonably priced, and altogether a good experience. I highly recommend them

Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional. The job was well done and we felt well taken care of.

We had two Bradford Pear trees in our front lawn that had grown too large for the space. Peter arrived on schedule. Besides looking at the trees he gave me advice about dead trees in our back yard. His estimate was reasonable, presented very professionally in writing, and even included information about the company's insurance coverage. He had a crew available that day. When I returned from work that evening, the trees were gone and the yard looked great. You wouldn't know they were there except of course the trees were gone!

They did do a beautiful job but it was astoundingly expensive. They cut down one dead tree and trimmed some limbs off another tree to make it safer. The tree was close to the house and it was wet. There was no way to get to it without having to trample over a lot of grass. They definitely had good equipment and a nice touch. There was hardly any sawdust anywhere afterwards. It was nicely done. I would definitely recommend them if someone wanted such a service and wanted to make sure that no one caused any damage and that you were able to come home from work and have everything taken care of with nothing more to worry about. That is what they are capable of providing. They were very knowledgeable and talked about the other trees in my yard.
