I contacted GS at the number listed to ask for someone to look at the job and provide me an estimate, The person answered the call and told me he would be at my house the next day at an appointed time. About 3-4 hours after the appointment, I sent a text to ask if he was coming that day. He had gotten delayed and it would be the next morning. Again, we waited and he was a no show. Another text from me to him, and another explanation that they had gotten delayed on the job and he would be here the next day. The next day, he showed and about 3 hours later had sent me an estimate for doing the job. The quote seemed somewhat reasonable, and I accepted the quote. He gave me a date that they would start on the job. Once again, they were no shows for that date and no contact as to where they were. About noon, I contacted the company via text and the response was they couldn't get thier equipment out because of the excessive rain the night before. They would be here the next day. Once again, no one showed and no contact was originated by anyone with GS, so I sent a text and cancelled the contract. One company originated communication regarding the status of performing the job may have save the job for Grillo Stucco.

From start to finish, they arrived when weather permitted and got the work done. I would recommend Silvano and his team to anyone needing stucco and rotten wood repair.

We started out just wanting to get the stucco repaired. A shutter had come down in the recent storms and could not be put back up. By repairing the stucco, we can now put the shutter back up.

The entire project was accomplished in approximately five days and was finished as promised. Grillo Stucco Company had plenty of scaffolding to do this job. They also had adequate crewing (3 to 6 workers) to do the work as scheduled. With more than five years of experience as a company, they had worked many larger and smaller jobs and understood the work requirements. After erecting the scaffolding and finishing taping and protecting windows, vegetation, etc, they began the repairs and base coat systematically working around the house. They took a little more than two days to complete the base coat. After it cured about a day they started the top coat and finished it in about two days. Once the top coat had cured they caulked all of the openings with polyurethane. Stuccoing is a rather messy job and they did a good job of protecting areas where they were working. Additionally they were efficient in cleanup and removal of trash and debris from the site as well as restoring things they had removed -- house numbers, stair rails, etc.

Grillo Stucco stuccoed my entire house for me. They were very efficient when they were here. I'll use them in the future if I need more stucco work.
