I have been staying at my girlfriend's apartment for the last 3 weeks while waiting for my new house to be built because I had buyers for my old place and did not want to pass up the chance to sell. Anyway, my standards for how clean an apartment needs to be are not quite as stringent as my girlfriend's so I needed some help! I called Green Thumb to arrange cleaning and tidying twice a week and they have done a really great job of keeping the apartment spotless and keeping me out of trouble :-) I had planned to claim that I was the one doing the cleaning but it was much too thorough for that to be believable. I was worried that my girlfriend would be uncomfortable having her apartment cleaned by strangers so Linda agreed to come and meet her during her off hours. They got along very well and my girlfriend already told me that she plans to continue the arrangement when I move out next month. I definitely plan to set up a similar plan for my new house and it will definitely be with Green Thumb (they already agreed to travel the extra distance at no charge!) Thank you guys! I don't often leave reviews but you have really been wonderful so I had to make an exception this time!

The phone call to set-up the appointment was so un-professional. Linda seemed annoyed when I mentioned that I had the groupon. There were loud noises in the background like someone hitting pots and pans! I had to keep repeating myself to finally get an appointment. She told me it would take at least a week or two to get my cleaning done so I declined.

4 starters they were 45 minutes late. And not much got done. I hired Linda thinking she was a take charge person who was well organized.. That was the impression I got but that was not what showed up at my house. There were three ladies were supposed to stay for two hours for $45 per hour.. That should then be 6 hours of work with 3 ladies. One lady ended up leaving early and Linda did not even discuss that with me, they were very slow and the folding and the folding was not even professional. I had scattered clothes in unorganized piles all over my room.. They quickly me and my daughters room and folded some more laundry.. Almost no packing got done Linda got a few things in my kitchen packed and that was it! There was about 7 loads of laundry and I could have folded all of them myself within about 45 minutes.. I felt like Linda was going very very slow. I have had a lot of help in the past and I have never had someone move so slow, and give me a false impression on professionalism

She was a nice young lady that came in and she cooped out before the four hours was up and came inside to help me with some things inside, so my garage did not get quite as organized as it could have been. But, frankly, it was hot as h*** in that garage and that's pretty hard work to ask somebody to do lugging a lot of stuff for four hours in a garage. They were already talking to me about things that they would do when they come back, so they definitely didn't plan on finishing the job in the four hours. I think she was trying to get me prepared for the notion of her coming back, because she was telling me about things she would do this time and then other things she would do when she comes back.

So-so. Had to ask them to go over several things more than one time, but once they were done it was good.

Everything went really well. The hardest part was getting rid of a whole row of cookbooks in my pantry, but Lindsay was gentle & kind. We didn't finish the whole kitchen, but she gave me a list of shelf organizers to buy to help me stay organized & I've begun to finish the rest myself.

Magnificent! I am disabled and my also disabled daughter and I recently moved to NC from VA. The 2nd day in my new house, the water heater pressure reducer valve went bad and during the night, caused the washing machine hose to burst, flooding my entire new home!! Thank goodness I had wonderful homeowner insurance who got things rolling on the issue within 15 minutes of my hysterical phone call. My daughter and I spent the entire next month in a hotel.......where laundry was piling up daily. By the time we were able to get back into the house, we not only had unpacking to do for all our vital and important items, but also the huge amount of laundry that had accumulated during our hotel stay as well as some laundry that came with us on the move. Being disabled, with limited mobility and income, I was overwhelmed and knew that even tho i could keep up with normal daily laundry, getting caught up to that point was hopeless. I felt frustrated, depressed and hopeless. Then i found GreenThumb Cleaning and Organizing, who stated they also did laundry! I was ecstatic and called right away. I spoke to Linda, who was SO wonderful and compassionate and ready to help me right away! She came and picked up these massive bags of laundry....impeccably washed, dried and folded them...then called and delivered them to my door in the exact promised time frame. I am so happy to have found Linda and her staff at GreenThumb! Now that I know all they do, I intend to hire them for routine cleaning as well as helping me to get unpacked and organized! I came away from this experience feeling that I had my life back as well as finding a caring friend in the process! Thank you Linda and GreenThumb! See you soon!! :)

If you are looking for quality and professionalism this is NOT the company you want. Linda(owner) worked for me for about 3 months, got her off Groupon( another mistake). While the price was right the service was not. They would never show up at the scheduled time would call to reschedule at the last minute or just would not show up at all with no phone call. There would be different people with her almost everytime so you never got to know the people in your house. The quality was mediocre at best, I would have to go over areas that they missed after they left. Save your money and go somewhere else.
