We got their name from friends. And they were so good that we in turn have recommended them to friends. Both couples we recommended them to have used them. Both have been pleased. Gentle Giants were prompt, professional, neat, courteous, and went above and beyond their responsibilities. None of our furniture or possessions were damaged or lost. We felt comfortable with them in our homes and with our stuff. Cost a bit more than others, but you know what you're getting, there were no surprises, no extra charges - and they completed their jobs. If something needed to be moved after it was placed once, for example, they did it gladly, as a matter of course. Stayed late to accomodate us, in fact, worked around our needs and wants to accomodate us - not just followed the paperwork. And they were careful and clean and neat in our homes. Absolutely recommend.

This group was amazing, friendly, helpful and fast. They were always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate my wants and needs. They were extremely careful and cautious with every item and came up with arrangement ideas that were great and I hadn't thought of. Mike from Gentle Giant came and performed an estimate, and at that time I informed him that we needed to move on a specific date (an upcoming Saturday) and we had a very inflexible schedule. He told me that this date would be fine. After receiving their quote a few days later, even though they were much more expensive than other movers we priced, we committed to use them for what we perceived to be a high level of professionalism and courtesy. As it turns out, we were wrong. When we called to confirm the moving date we were informed that they had no availability for that day. I reacted by reminding them that we had already been assured this date would be ok and we were unable to move at any other time. The person I was speaking with said that they would speak with Mike and fine out what he had in mind. Two hours later, I still hadn't heard from anyone and I called back, at which point I was informed that there was no available help that day because the entire staff was planning on attending an Octoberfest celebration, thus leaving us scrambling to find and schedule another mover at the last minute. They seemed much less concerned with honoring our previously agreed upon moving date than they did with the threat of getting a bad Angie's List review after our discussion. Thanks for having your priorities in order, fellas. I hope in the future the people scheduling the moves will actually carry a calendar in case they have a conflict. I don't recommend using this company. They'll probably have something better to do that day anyway rather than help you move, so you're better off using someone else.

Very professional and completed the task without incident

They arrived on time and were very professional. All members were polite and efficient. They protected all furniture and belongings very carefully. They finished under the amount of time and I could not be happier with the service!!! Not that I want to move again in the near future, but if I do.. this would be the company that I would use .. They did a great job. They went above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. It was a local move that required two trucks. That did the work in one day and completed it by 4:30. They placed everything as we wanted. They were respectful to our home and items. Nothing was damaged throughout the process. They were very cognitive about not slacking and getting the work done efficiently. They practically ran the entire time, it was unbelievable. We have done about eight moves already and by far they were the best.

Michael and his crew did a good job. They do a lot of volunteer work for my church, which is why I chose them. They were very professional and on top of it. They were polite and clean. They offered to do things I had not expected them to do. I highly recommend their services. Nothing was broken and their prices are very competitive.

The move was less than ten miles. It took them for about three hours. They got in one truck load. They were great. They were running the entire time and nothing broke. They got the job done efficiently. The men were very nice. I thought they did a really great job. I would use them again and definitely continue to recommend their services.

They were very careful with the furniture. It was raining during the move so they were very careful not to track anything into the apartment. They paid attention to the way they presented themselves to you.

They were absolutely great. They do what they say they are going to do. The experiences we have had with them was phenomenal. I've never seen anything like it. They were reasonably priced. The Gentle Giants were unbelievable.

Excellent service! They arrived promptly. Two men were very friendly. Each piece of furniture was carefully wrapped in padding as if it were being moved across the country. They took extra care to properly handle a 50-inch plasma TV. Once at the new location, they also made sure all furniture was in its proper place. This was an emotional move for my parents, leaving a house for assisted living, and the movers helped make it a smooth, happy transition. The initial process was easy. They emailed a form for me to complete with the number and types of things to be moved. The form already has a wide range of furniture types listed, so filling it out and getting the initial estimate was also easy.

They are an excellent company. They communicated well with me and the price was good.

It did seem rather expensive for a local move. They did well. The people were nice. We tried to use them again at a later date, but found it very difficult to get a hold of anyone and ended up not using them again out of our frustration with their responsiveness.

It was a fantastic experience!! I had been burned in the past and this service renewed my faith in moving companies. They were friendly and helpful. They were so energized I expected to see a pink bunny somewhere. Everything I had was treated with care and respect. They even helped me "arrange" the livingroom and unpack some of the boxes! What a great team!!!
