Amazingly well!

Left message to get an estimate. After a few days I called again to setup appt for someone to come out. Estimator came on 11/16. He was professional and arrived on time. Advised that I would get an estimate via email in a day or so. Never received it. You're only as good as your word in my book. I won't be calling them again.

I called this company multiple times over the course of a week. The phone always went to voicemail. I left multiple messages and never received a return phone call.

Everything went very well. The workers handled the furniture carefully, and the company handled the entire move which was convenient.

Gentle Gaint responded promptly to our request for a verbal quote. They arrived on time and quickly loaded the truck, wasted no time, and unloaded the truck at the new house without taking any breaks. They clearly had a system that worked with loading and unloading in the lest amount of time. The workers were extremely polite and very respectful.

The move started at about 9:30 am; no wasted time. It was a very hot day. Jon and Chris worked constantly, only takinging a couple minutes for water breaks. Everything was moved and placed exactly as specified. There was no damage, no scratches, no problems. After all the furniture had been moved to the new condo, Jon asked if we were satisfied with the placement and would gladly rearrange anything we would want. The entire move was completed with no hiccups.

These guys are awesome! The movers (each was about 6' 2") called when they were on their way to my apartment and even showed up about 30 minutes early which was great!! They were incredibly friendly and helpful. They took really good care of packing my furniture and moved and unloaded everything quickly and efficiently, placed my furniture where I wanted it and even put my bed together! I can't say enough good things about Gentle Giant movers. They may charge a bit more, but it was worth every penny! This was the best and easiest move I've ever had (and I've had plenty of moves)! What also impressed me was that the two movers had nothing but good things to say about working for Gentle Giant - not something one hears often.

When we decided to replace our sofa, we knew it would be difficult to move the old one out. The movers that moved it into our home banged up the walls quite a bit getting it in, so we dreaded having this happen again, and we knew there was no way we could do it ourselves. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to find someone to just move this item, but I noticed in the other reviews that Gentle Giant had performed these tasks previously. I am so glad that we called them! Their price was great, as they were able to fit us in between jobs (we were flexible on date/time). They did a FANTASTIC job of getting it down the stairs - not a single bump, and couldn't have been more friendly and easy to work with. They clearly knew their stuff, as they were able to quickly identify the best way to complete the move (which was not the way the other movers got it in!). If/when we move again, we will be calling Gentle Giant without hesitation. I only wish we had used them previously! I think our walls would thank us!

WONDERFUL. After using a professional mover last summer to move me from Texas to NC, I didn't realize the difference between a guy who has a truck and a professional mover. These guys are pros. They showed up on time, were very accomodating to my neighbors in the apartment by moving their truck several times so my neighbors could get their cars out, wrapped all the large wood and breakable pieces and had a great attitude while doing it. What amazed me was that they didn't use dollies for any of it! They lifted everything as a team and carried it (including the sleeper sofa and the washing machine). While they were a bit costly, I felt that it was money well spent because they were very careful of all my items and even offerred to help me rearrange the furniture once they had it all in the house. All in all, a great job!!

They knew how to do their job safely, and communicated well with each other on the best way to move things. They took care to make sure not to damage the floor or items. We've probably moved five or six times, and of everyone we've used these guys outshined everyone. They communicated well, and worked with us to move some things around multiple times to make sure we were happy with the placement. If we move again, they will be the first ones on our list.

THEY WERE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. THE CHARGE WAS $88.00 FOR 2 MEN PER HOUR WITH A 2 HR MINIMUM.

They have fantastic communication. The movers had a great attitude and were always on time. It was overall a great company to work with. I would recommend this company highly.

They did a very good job.

I called for an estimate, and made an appointment for Bob to come to come to my home and survey how long it would take for the move. He was on time, and polite. I had a multiple destination move, so I though it might be a bit tricky. He was professional and accurate with time estimations. I got the estimate and compared it with some others. I called back and scheduled a date and time. On moving day, the truck rolled up in front of my house on time, and 3 men came in to briefly and politely introduce themselves, and have a look around. Within 5 minutes of their arrival they were padding, and wrapping furniture. These guys had major hustle and muscle! It was amazing! Since they are paid by the hour, hustle and muscle are the perfect combination. The care and speed they use is super! They drove the truck to my new home. I just had the hardwood floor refinished the week before the move. They were extra careful not to leave a scratch. They unwrapped, unloaded, and set furniture exactly where I asked them to put it. Gentle Giants get an A plus in my book. You don't get a job well done with excellent customer service like this anywhere else!

They arrived on time to do the work. The quality of their work was excellent. I would use them in the future. I would recommend them. They were professional.
