Frady Tree Care

I was impressed with the first young man who came to give me a price. It was obvious he was a tree fan--my number one requirement. It took a little longer to get the appt. time, but that was not a problem. It wasn't an emergency. Workers came. They were competent and quick. They cleaned up debris when finished. There were no problems whatsoever.

Very thorough trimming, End result is just as envisioned. Workers inadvertently broke flagpole on deck, presumably from falling branch. Not a big deal since it was old and inexpensive. Still, they did a very professional, high-quality job. Would definitely consider using them again.

They were wonderful. They were considerate and reliable. I had them come out, check my property, and see what needed to be done. One of the trees that I am having problems with is on my neighbor’s yard. They have moved and nobody is in the house yet. I have to get written permission before I can to do anything. They came and trimmed the limbs that were hanging over my house. I think it helped alleviate the weight off the tree so it is not leaning towards my house. The branches are not laying on top of my house anymore. The price was good. They schedule one day a week. They were on time. I will use them again.

I had a lot of work done. They were pretty good.

It took a couple of phone calls to try to coordinate the date and time. We were interrupted by the weather, but once the service was done they did a good job. They came back later they brought some stamps and it was exactly what I was looking. The only thing that I wasn't happy with is I thought their pricing was just at the average according to what everybody else is charging. Even with the Angie's List coupon I think it is $200 off for $400 worth of tree service. They picked the tree for $700 and it's $200 off instead of a $100.

All was great. Excellent service, including cleanup. We are elated with the service we received from the Frady crew. It seemed like a small army showed up and worked their a$$e$ off that day! And all was completed in one day, which was very nice also. Many thanks to Stewart, Kelly, and the rest of the great crew!

The work these guys/girls did was awesome. The worked steady for hours and didn't leave until after 6:00 that evening. The next morning they returned to gather the remaining logs and raked up all the debris and leveled out the stump mulch. These guys knew what they were doing and they did it well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for professional tree services.

It took us a while to connect due to weather and availability, but when we finally settled on a date they showed up with a very impressive crew. They arrived very prompt and early in the morning. They completed all of the work that they stated that they would do in only a few short hours. I was very pleased with the results, the trees were trimmed in a very professional manner. I would hire them again for the same type of service.

Company trimmed multiple trees around our house. They were there for almost a full day with a crew of 4 people. They did a great job cleaning up- you couldn't tell that they had been there except the trees looked better. They clearly know what they are doing and were very knowledgable about the trees that we had. We would use them again.

The man that came was Charles. He was very knowledgable, seemed to know exactly what I wanted and was very helpful at pointing out some things that might be better. They were very courteous when they came out to do the work. They said they would be here at a certain time and they were here at that time. They did a good job of cutting the trees and cleaning up afterwards. They said they would leave my yard looking better when they left than it did before they came, and they did. Also the bird seeder was on one of my trees that was getting a lot of trimming. They took it down so it wouldn't get damaged. I called them after they left because I couldn't pick it back up to get it in the tree and they came back and put it up again for me. They are one of the companies that is back up for the city if there are storms; they are called to help clean up. They have a good reputation. All of my trees look great I would recommend them to other people.

The original work cutting the trees down was done in a timely manner and they were helpful in identifying other trees that needed to be cut down and even cut one other small one beyond the original plan. Unfortunately, that was only part of what I paid for. The balance was to cut the trees into usable wood pieces I could burn in my wood stove. It took 3 months to get them back here to do the 2nd part - and I had to make multiple phone calls which was frustrating. I would use them again but I would get firmer commitments on when things are to be done.

It took quite a long time from the first contact with Frady's until the work actually was scheduled due to their work volume. Estimate was done on February 1st. They predicted the work could be done in 3-4 weeks, but it ended up being 6 weeks. The work crew did a fine job -- ample number of workers and clearly skilled at their trade. However, they did try to convince us that we needed to have a very large Poplar tree taken down because of a hollowing out of its core over time. A second opinion convinced us the tree was fine and not in danger of toppling in a strong wind.

The project went better than we ever expected and it was absolutely worth the cost. Charles Floyd, certified arborist at Frady Tree Care, spent quite a bit of time walking around the front and back yards with me in advance to assess the health and condition of all trees and shrubs and discussed what work we might want to have done. Our main concern was that enormous trees older than the house were situated too close to the house and could pose a danger not only to ours but also to adjacent houses. Stubs of limbs left from past incorrect pruning were hazardous and unsightly, and the mature foundation plantings were misshapen and/or incorrectly chosen for light conditions. Charles and his excellent professional crew (seven altogether) were on site for ten hours or so and all the tree work was so fascinating to watch that we finally took chairs outside and ran back and forth between the front and back yards. A bucket truck with Jim in the bucket and two guys on the ground worked in the back yard taking down trees limb by limb, and the two men pruning the oaks in front seemed to our inexperienced eyes to be performing death-defying maneuvers. What a show! All members of the crew were friendly and good-natured, knowledgeable and experienced, and were exceedingly professional and safety-conscious. Pruning the large oaks in front not only reduced the weight on the ends of the limbs but also opened up the canopy beautifully so that more light can reach that yard. A previous owner of the house referred to the enormous pecan tree in back next to the house as the "garbage" tree because everything that dropped from it was messy. The divided trunk had been cabled many years ago and the tree had also been topped at some point, thus weakening it. I would absolutely recommend Frady Tree Care to anyone.

If only every service provider could leave a customer this delighted and satisfied with his work!!! The day that I purchased the coupon, Stewart sent an email confirming the order, and arranging for an appointment to discuss the scope of the work. He was prompt, courteous, and very friendly when he arrived for the appointment, and I immediately knew that I had successfully found a very qualified person/company to do the work. When he and his crew arrived they were ready to work; they knew their jobs and equipment. It was a big job and it took quite a while but they handled it without complaint. It was obvious that Stewart had organized and trained his crew well. The entire process was worry -free from beginning to end. I will use Frady Tree Care again, and my neighbor already has!

The tree in my front yard was knocked down in a storm and I bought the Angie's List Big Deal for $400 worth of tree service. I called Frady and they gave me an estimate on the grinding the tree stump and offered to trim my front shrubs to use the remaining value on my Big Deal. The stump grinding looks great and they shrubs look good as well.

Great, when they got to us. Owner, Mr. Frady, personally supervised & his four workers were all very good & courteous & seemed to like working for him. Also, his insurance company promptly emailed a liability insurance cert. specifying our name & address as the work site. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. EVERYONE SHOULD INSIST ON GETTING THAT CERTIFICATE BEFORE THE WORK BEGINS.

The workers were very nice. They were very competent and straightforward and did what they said and I was very pleased with them.

We had to reschedule my appointment several times due to the weather and my work schedule. Stewart kept me informed, was very professional and gave me a great deal. The crew was fantastic, they removed all of the tree branches and walked my property with me to ensure I was happy with the results. I couldn't be happier with the company and I would absoutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for tree removal. Great group to work with!

When I purchased the deal, they were very busy, so it took us some months to schedule. We also had to follow up ourselves. Once they got here, they did a really good job. I thought their price was good for the additional items that I had done. They did very well on the clean-up, which I was very pleased with; we didn’t have to clean anything up ourselves! I would use them again, and probably will.

Total pleasure. Frady was on time, professional and very easy to deal with. They handled a change in work scope--some work added, some removed--very smoothly. Price changes were clear and agreed upon, up front. The Frady team was very professional, safe and focused on making me, the customer, happy. Their clean up after the work was amazing. Other than having more shapely trees, there was no evidence that they had been there. All logs, branches, twigs, brush and leaves were removed. Outstanding.

I service I purchased would have been sufficient to do a basic pruning of my two Bradford Pear trees. This standard "topping" pruning isn't desired and for additional money they agreed to perform a more time-intensive, and preferred pruning job. I initially indicated I wasn't in a hurry to have the pruning done, but after a couple of months I began contacting them about getting it done sooner rather than later; it took a couple more months for the service to be performed (which is why I had to give them a lower score for punctuality). I understand that the high volume of business from the Angie's List deal had a big effect on why it took so long. However, when they did prune my trees and I subsequently called to talk about how the pruning was done (to me it didn't seem to have been sufficiently pruned), two employees came to my house to discuss the pruning job. They did the job correctly and were patient in explaining why the type of pruning that most people think is best isn't really what's best for the tree or what helps the tree live longer. We discussed other trees on my property and, without my asking, they agreed to not charge me the agreed-upon additional money for the more extensive pruning. I want to emphasize that they made this offer because of the unexpected delay and without me asking for it.

Overall great experience with Frady Tree Service. After having to reschedule a couple times due to the crazy weather we have been having this spring, the day finally came for them to remove 2 trees that have been causing headaches since the day I bought the house. I had 2 gum trees, both very close to my house, that had to be rigged and limbed before they came down. The guys from Frady were efficient, professional, and in about 2 hours had both trees down and cleaned up. I would and will use them again and recommend them for any work on any tree, especially ones that can damage your house.

It was difficult to schedule the work because of the weather but once the job was scheduled, the crews arrived on time with all the necessary equipment. Since the job was extensive, it took two days to complete, but the crews were professional and cleaned up all the debris. The price, while expensive, was fair and I would use this company again.
