Overall not bad. Missed several things that they had to return to finish. Had more paint leftover than we should have had based on their estimates of what we needed. I had to have someone else come to d a few things that were not completed,

Five Star was great to work with. There was a little delay in communicating the start time and the workers were a little late the second day, but overall, they did a fantastic job. The second day of the job was the day after Thanksgiving, so the lateness was understandable, and when we contacted the manager about the workers we got a response from him immediately. They painted the kitchen, nook, den and also removed wallpaper and painted the half bath. We were very pleased with the work, and would absolutely have them come out again to paint more rooms. The staff and painters were very pleasant and good to work with. They also worked within our timetable, which was important.

I recently had the exterior of our home painted by Five Star Painting and was pleased with the job they did, I decided to do some work on the inside so I called them back to give me an estimate. The estimator showed up on time once again and gave me a very fair estimate on multiple areas of drywall repair, removing that unsightly popcorn from my ceilings and painting three rooms completely in my home. We scheduled the job, painting crew called when they were en route, showed up with a crew of 5 painters, all were dressed in uniforms which I thought was unusual and Impressive. They put protective booties on their feet, prepared the rooms for paint with clean drop cloths, put plastic over all my furniture and completed the job in 2 days! Five Star has really impressed me with their system. Thanks again Five Star for a truly stress free affordable experience.

I was very impressed with the communication from start to finish! The Salesman called the day before the estimate to confirm, Showed up on the day of estimate on time. He walked thru the estimate with me step by step explaining the preparation procedures,Measured everything with a walking tape . Then he took out his computer and printed me an estimate right there, Showed me his lic, insurance and Workman Compensation certificate, Presented his quote which was Competitive with the 2 other quotes i had. The 5 man crew showed up early and were very professional and polite. They pressure cleaned and painted the exterior of my home. Did an awesome job!! After the Crew was finished the Project manager showed up and walked the job with me to make sure i was satisfied i was very impressed with the overall professionalism of the job. I would Highly Recommend five Star Painting To anyone Who wants Quality Workmanship.

Not recommended. Work was ok but the professionalism was disappointing. At one point, Bob wrote his own review on our account. Although he did later apologize, this was not very unprofessional. We were willing to give them another try but ultimately had to hire another company for additional work we wanted done because five star was very non-responsive.

We hired Five Star Painting to paint our exterior of our home. Matt Phillips and Bob Clayton are extremely nice guys and straight shooters. The painters were always on time, which was hugely appreciated, and they did excellent work. We did have to have some touch ups done - one was a spindle on the deck...and a another to fix a spot on the chimney on our gloss white trim. Even though they had to come out to touch up a few mistakes, they were happy to do so and were very gracious. To me, customer service is truly demonstrated when a company is polite and friendly about fixing mistakes, so I was very happy with their service, overall. And, the paint looks fantastic! Another perk - if you are interested in any design consultation, Melony is their in-house interior decorator. She is an absolute gem! Young, fresh, full of energy and ideas, and understood exactly what we were trying to accomplish. We get so many compliments on the colors and detail work she designed for us. I have recommended her to several people, including my exacting parents. If you are stumped on colors, or want to try something dramatic or different. I highly recommend the painting services of Five Star Painting.

I found Five Star Painting online. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, I took several estimates. I was also under very short deadline to paint before I moved. The project manager, Bob, met me with an hour's notice, was on time, provided me a very fair estimate (including a paint discount). After reviewing the estimates that I recieved, I ended up going with a cheaper quote. The painter that came did a horrible job and I was so upset with myself that I had gone the cheap way out. I called back to Bob and Five Star Painting to let them know what I had done and they worked with my budget to come up with the best look for the home. The painting itself was excellent. He is true professional - and you can tell why his company has been in business since 2002! I suggest to everyone to go with quality instead of trying to save a buck. I definately learned my lesson here.

Five Star Painting came out to do an estimate for me and I thought the price was really good. I trusted them and felt comfortable with having them in my home - so much, that I left them a key when it came time to do the work. When I came home, everything was put away and the job was fantastic. I trust Five Star Painting.

The painting crew did a fine job painting approximately 5 rooms, we were very pleased with the results.

Company did an excellent job on the work. We had a brick ranch and Five Star's paint job and Siding replacement brought th house up to date. I did have a couple of issues at the end of the job relating to cleanup and other post work concerns but Matt and Bob resolved them to my satisfaction.

We highly recommend Five Star Painting. The owner, Matt and his manager Bob came to our new home and were dressed professional and arrived in a professionally identified truck - so if first impressions are the most important, they won. They listened to our requirements and immediately set to work measuring each room. Then they went back to their truck and about a half hour later presented me with a room by room cost breakdown. They also had all of their license and insurance information available and had a crew in the area finishing up a job and could start our project the next Monday. We had not moved in yet, and every day that we came in the morning, the crew was there starting to work and spent a full day sometimes until 6:30 pm. They paid attention to detail including sanding, patching, caulking, etc. where needed. They continually asked us for feedback and if we were happy. We enjoyed every interaction that we had with the crew, and Bob came to visit a few times making sure all was right. When the job was done, they performed a walk through with us and took their time making sure we were happy. The house looks great, straight lines, clean baseboards, fresh ceilings. Great job!

On May 17th around 9 or 10 am, Johnathan and Andy show up at my door ready to get started on the deck. I did not receive any phone call or advanced warning that they were coming. I had other projects scheduled (termite application and trenching on the 18th) but did not want to turn they away. They started on the deck and worked for 2 days. They did a wonderful job on the deck and when they were done it looked like new. Instead of a tinted stain we decided to put a clear finish. They were to come back on Saturday and put Thompson waterseal on the deck and they were to do the painting. I had a previous commitment for that Saturday and was going to be out of town and was very ruluctant as I would not be home to check on things. As it turned out I think they covered the deck completely but just to make sure I purchased 4 cans of Thompson wood preserver and sealer and have been doing sections myself. Wanted to make sure it was fully pretected. I did find places which were missed. When I looked at the painting job, I just about cried. The job was so unprofessional. On Monday I called the company and they sent out one of their more seasoned professionals, Bill. He came out and scraped all of the caulking that was done and repainted everything that was supposed to have been painted with the correct type of paint. He did a wonderful job. After Bill finished up he gave me a bill that was in the name of Carolina Home Services. This was the 3rd company name that I was dealing with. Totally confused. I called the company the next day and paid the balance. After this I was totally satisfied.

BEWARE THEY DO NOT FINISH JOBS SEE FOLLOWING PICTURES. First appointment April 13th for pressure washing. I helped move some of the items to make it easier on Chris. Started on porch then moved to deck. There was a small stack of wood a wheelbarrow full that was not moved so was not pressure washed under ever also the hose reels were not moved to pressure wash under. My husband said I should have stopped the job then but I kept moving forward. That work was done on a Friday13th go figure. At which point I showed Chris the brochure which I was told I picked the color Ranchero Red and circled that my name was on it. Which I have not seen so not sure if Ranchero Red is what I picked do not remember signing the brochure. Monday April 16th Chris and Cody show up to start the painting at that time the wood was thrown over the deck but still not pressure washed under. Cody started with the paint and right off I said it is pink he said it would dry darker. It never got darker just shows more of a pink tone. I even bought them lunch I am not a difficult customer. When they finished and I looked at it Chris ask what I thought and I said it was ugly and still pink. Then I asked him why was the lattice work was not done and he said it was not on the work list. So now I have a unfinished deck, lattice that was not pressure washed or painted, paint on the sidewalk that I paid to have refinished and cost me $759.25. As soon as my husband got home and he saw it we went to Sherwin Williams to see if there was anything we could do to fix it such as paint over. The salesman called his tech department to see if we had any options to fix this mess. The answer was strip it or let it weather for a year or more if it was painted over it would crack and peal. I called Daniel and told him about the lattice not being done and said that was suppose to be done. Then I told him about the color and he said didn't we talk about Pepperidge and Salem Red which we had. So still not sure why I would have circled Ranchero Red but may have again have not seen the brochure where I picked this and signed it. In between this I spoke to Chris and he said he was sorry that he had thrown me under the bus. Daniel said he would come out and look at the deck. He did not make it out so we spoke again and he said he would be out 1ish on April 19th so at 4:30 on April 19th I called him and he told me he was fixing to call me and let me know he would not make it. Well my time is important also and I had stayed home waiting for him to come see the mess. I then told him I would email him some pictures if that would help and save him a trip.He got them over the weekend and Monday I called him at 1:13pm on April 23rd to see what was next he told me he said he had already sent them to Matt Phillps his boss and owner. Tuesday April 24th Matt Phillps called me at 9:25am and we talked for 14 minutes to go over options. He told me he made $50.00 on the job since it was a Angie's List Big Deal which is not my problem. He said he wanted me to be happy. He said he could take care of the lattice that was not painted finished or if I worked with him I could pay his cost to have deck stripped which depending how long it to his employee to finish looking at another $225 or more so that would be good money after bad. He said that everyone is in business to make money which I understand I just wanted what I paid for which was a good job that I did not get. IT IS STILL NOT COMPLETED BEWARE DO NOT USE $759.25 is a lot of money in my household and I would think in most households. At the end of the conversation he told me to talk to my husband and to call and let him know what we decided I called him back at that same day April 24th at 1:38 pm and I am still waiting almost a month later that is what I call customer service. He had no idea what we wanted done but to late now. I am a very unhappy customer looking for other options only thing that would make me happy with this company is my money back for such a bad job and all the time I have had to spend to try to rectify this. I have called and spoken to everyone and still no where. The job is still incomplete AGAIN BEWARE THEY DO NOT FINISH JOBS SEE FOLLOWING PICTURES.

Terrible. The Painting Pros initially stained the deck. The first application was "absorbed" by the deck, per the Painting Pros. It would need a second application. After two applications we were still not satisfied and noticed that the second application of "stain" was actually LATEX PAINT. All of our landscaping around the deck was covered with Latex. I still have the LATEX painted deck that is peeling. Didn't think stain "peeled" When I payed the bill I was given a "diploma" looking document that was a three (3) year guarantee. When I contacted the company, within the 3 year period, I was told that they only guarantee their work for 6 months. Nothing was ever done to rectify the situation.
