Excel Cleaning Service

They were GREAT! Arrived on time. Dove right in. Worked HARD to make the whole house spotless. Christina, Porsha and Candice did SUCH a great job! They were all friendly, pleasant and just as nice as they could be. I couldn't have asked for better! I will DEFINITELY use Excel again, and refer them to all of my friends. THANKS LADIES!!!

Purchased this as a Big Deal. Very thorough work. Hasn't looking this clean in years!

Worst house cleaning I had ever had! They took along time to do nothing pretty much. THey didnt have their own cleaning supplies which I had to buy myself. I ended up having clean up areas that they didnt do a good job on. Id never use them again!

I bought a $149 Big Deal from Excel Cleaning Services, and have had difficulty in contacting them and/or scheduling the work. I had to cancel the only date that was set because my husband had a stroke. But I didn't hear from the owner, Candace, until the day the cleaning was scheduled that she had canceled it. I have tried, by Angie's Messages, to reschedule, hoping to have it done before my husband comes home from the rehab hospital, but have heard nothing. I really don't want to continue to deal with this. Some neighbors own a cleaning service and I'll probably go thru them.

I was very pleased with what they did. It was clean when they left and I would call them back.

Excellent. Candice runs a great shop. Cleaned from top to bottom.

Overall, excel did a very good job. Their communication is marginal. I asked questions by email but did not receive an adequate response. I have not heard from them after the cleaning. Thought they might follow up with a proposal for a regularly scheduled cleaning.

The couple that came were fabulous. They did a very thorough job and were just great people.

Overall was clean and fixed up.

I purchased the deal for my parents since my mother had been having some health issues and was having a hard time keeping the house as clean as she liked. They contacted me the same day that I purchased the deal "$199 for 8 Hours of Deep Housecleaning" and scheduled the cleaning for the following week. 2 women showed up at exactly the scheduled time and worked 4 solid hours. They cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned. No talking and goofing off. They were extremely nice to both of my parents and showed great respect. My Mom is one of those people who never liked having a cleaning person because "they take shortcuts and don't clean as well". I was surprised to hear they passed her inspection and she thought they did a wonderful job! I am probably going to contact them for future cleanings to help Mom.

I was generally pleased with this deal, but felt that there were a few things that were missed.

They worked hard and completed nearly all tasks in the allotted time. The cleaners were very friendly as well (I was working during their visit). Make sure to prioritize the tasks as they (and all cleaners) may work faster to finish the list and not be as thorough as possible. Lastly, there was some oil leaked onto my driveway from the cleaner's car so my only suggestion would be to inform the staff to be mindful of leaking engines and to park in the street.

I had a great experience with Excel Cleaning and am scheduling to use them again. I purchased the deep clean special that was running. Candice was nice enough to come out and visit my home to discuss cleaning details. I was also wanting to make sure they were pet-friendly as I have two dogs and two cats. She was early, friendly and very thorough. Once I got the date scheduled, I was impressed right off the bat to get a phone call from Katrina late in the afternoon to tell me they had finished. I had crated my dogs and she also said she had given them some treats since they were good. I was beyond thrilled with how my house looked and even little details that I didn't expect were handled.

I provided my address, and phone number well before our appointment time, yet they never showed for the appointment, nor did they call. It wasn't until 3 hours after my scheduled time, that they sent an e-mail - they should have taken the time to personally call me. It took me many months to schedule the appointment due to my demanding work schedule, and I do not care to go through the effort again. I also prefer a refund then have to deal with impending expiration date of the certificate. I have the e-mail correspondence as proof if you should require it.

In the end, the service was never performed. I sincerely hope that this episode was not indicative of their customer service standards. Nonetheless, I cancelled the request and am anticipating a refund. This experience has not, however, deterred me from trying other providers on Angie's List!! Thanks!!

I purchased an Angie's Deal of 4 hrs of deep cleaning done by a 2-person crew for a large party we were having that coming weekend. On the 2nd floor, they thoroughly cleaned my son's bedroom, upstairs bath & our loft/bonus room. My son's room llooked like the day we moved in, not the 8 years of use it had seen. Just for the work they did on that room alone was money well spent! They cleaned all the blinds & wood work in the rooms, hardwood floors, rugs, windows, walls, fans, you name it! They also vacuumed & dusted in 2 other bedrooms upstairs that had just been redone to freshen it up. Downstairs, they did the same to our master bedroom, bath & kitchen. in the kitchen, they wiped down & degreased all the cabinets, walls, countertops, appliances & woodwork. I did not have them clean the living room, dining room or powder room because we were doing work in them & I would be moving things & setting stuff up in those rooms. Candice & Christine were very professional, prompt & accommodating. I had messaged Candice a few days earlier to see if they could push the 8 am arrival time back to 10:30 due to a medical conference call we had scheduled that morning. Not a problem. Candice even called before their arrival time to let me know they were running about 30 mins behind. When they arrived, we went over the list of things to be done. They did that & then some! They were a pleasure to work with! When my husband got home, he was very impressed with the work that was done & how the house looked. He even suggested we use them again in the future. The bottom line is they did an AMAZING job!! My house literally sparkled & shined & smelled fresh & clean!! I would definitely use them again & recommend them to my family & friends! THANK YOU LADIES!!

We did not feel good about the professionalism of this company.

It took a lot longer than I initially anticipated to schedule the service. They sent two people who cleaned for four hours each. They did a general housecleaning but were unable to get to the entire house.

When I originally purchased the deal I wanted it scheduled within 2 weeks. I called them about 5 times and never heard anything back. We were getting ready to move so I called them back at the end of the summer. I called another 3 times before being able to get the deal scheduled. We finally agreed for them to come out on August 27th. The cleaners didn’t show up at 8am as scheduled. When I scheduled it with the owner I informed her of our current address. I asked if she was sure she had the new address since we had recently moved. She said she had all of the information. The morning they were supposed to come out the cleaners called and stated they had been waiting for over 30 minutes. Turns out they were waiting at my old address. I waited another hour for them to show up at my correct address. They still didn’t show up. They called again and still went to the wrong address. This caused me to delay my move for 2 days. They never came out so I have decided not to use their company.

They took a very long time to get back with me to schedule the work. By the time they did get back to me, they couldn’t schedule me at a time that I needed the work done.

I have never used a cleaning service before. I had them come do a move-in cleaning which included 2 cleaners for 5 hours at a cost of $275. The cleaners were very professional and kind however the quality was pitiful. In the full 5 hours there were only able to clean about 3-4 rooms and my wife and I have had to re-clean all of those rooms. As we have continued to move-in over the past few weeks I have noticed more and more how poor the quality was. For $275 I feel like I got ripped off. I will go back to doing thing myself.

I could not be happier with the service. For starters I must comment on the high level of customer service. I prepaid for 8 hours of deep cleaning service on my condo which I was moving out of and renting. The schedules did not work out, but the company was flexible with me to schedule a later (much later actually) date which they could come and clean my new home. The consistent communication made that process very easy to manage. On the day of the cleaning they arrived on time sand ready to work. They worked hard, yet carefully and even tolerated my very excited and curious 8 month old puppy. The work could not have been better. Even though the prepaid agreement only covers homes up t 2100 sq ft, they cleaned my hole new house in the allotted time. I will definitely hire them to continuously clean my new home. Thank you!!

They arrived on time, they were professional, they did an acceptable job. They did not ask me to 'inspect' their job prior to leaving which I thought was a bit different than the norm. (I was outside in my garden when they left) If I were to have an ongoing service, I would want them to use a dust rag/polish rather than a feather duster type thing as this does not do a good enough dusting, in my opinion. The house did have a wonderful smell when they were finished.
