Our toilet/sink was filling up due to a clog in the sewer line in the street. Mike came at midnight assesed the problem and called the city to be sure they would clean the line before morning, which they did. Since our house does not have a wash out, he also recommended we install a back water valve which would prevent water from the main sewer line from flowing back into the house. He came back a few days later to do the installation. Would highly recommend them.

They may be pricier but the quality makes up for that. They came out the next day and did it.

They were great. They were here when they said they would be here. They didn't leave a mess and they explained everything. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it was going to be so I guess the price was good.

WOW, WOW, WOW!! It has been a long time since i have received the level of service that ER Plumbing Services provided. I noticed that my garbage disposal was not working yesterday afternoon. I emailed ER Plumbing Services via the Angie's List website this morning at around 7:15am. No less than 5 minutes later, Bill from ER Plumbing Services called me. He walked me through resetting the disposal over the phone but it was still not working. He said he'd have a technician out in about a 1/2 hour. Lance showed up, on time, and ready to fix the problem. Lance was professional, knowledgable, courteous and very friendly. He did an EXCELLENT job removing the old disposal, connecting the new one and cleaning everything up. He even wrote down my other major appliances (dishwasher & hot water heater) so if I ever call for service on either of them, they would be ready to order any parts or give advice on exactly what I have. The level of service that ER Plumbing Services provided was above any other repair company I have ever had do work in my home. I will never have to look for another plumber! :-)

Mike came out, told me what I didn't need and gave me a flat rate to fix my issues. He did so with respect to my property and made sure everything was neat and done properly. He took a lot of time to explain what he was doing and finished quickly. His price was reasonable and I had them fix on the spot. They will now be my new go to plumber and I am in the industry as a Rep, so that says a lot. I will have them out to put in a water heater as well soon.

They are really very solid company, maybe a little high priced but they were very responsive and they care. They do a good job. It was great. They've just been conscientious, thorough and all those good things.

We had a broken irrigation pipe under our lawn, which had turned it into a swamp. By the time we realized what the issue was, it was Sunday, and we had to get a plumber on short notice. This team arrived promptly,diagnosed the issue, and fixed it in less than an hour. They were very professional, easy to work with an very reasonable. I highly recommend this company!!

Had clogged drain (assumed before calling) as toilets overflowing when washer draining. Someone called me immediately upon seeing the ticket (had been less than one hour) and walked me through immediate steps to NOT do. Don't wash clothes, don't run shower, etc. Then, Mike was scheduled to show at 1pm but instead showed up about 20 minutes after the other call. GREAT!! Mike listened to my problem, speculated as to issue and reviewed price with me then went to work. Augered out the drain ultimately clearing clog (outside in pipe) and now able to shower AND wash clothes and no overflowing toilets. Great service, (wish the price was a little less but beggars cannot be too choosey)

Our first floor washing machine overflowed into our first floor toilet . We calle ER Plumbing, and Jeff came to our house late that afternoon and determined we had a sewer blockage. He came the next day to investigate- located our sewer access- which had been graded over when the house was built. He found that it was not a problem with our sewer line, but a problem with the sewer line in the street, which was a CMUD responsibility. He called them, and three trucks and six people arrived, but could not solve the problem. They brought in their high powered sewer cleaner to operate through the sewer line (I'm told 3000PSI) but it did not clear the line. CMUD came in the evening and began to excavate the street to clear the sewer line. The next day they finally cleared the line so we had sewer service again. After doing his evaluation, Jeff called CMUD, stayed with us the entire day, to explain to CMUD what the problem was, and helped me deal with them. I cannot begin to tell how much Jeff helped us, and how courteous he was through the entire process. He certainly went out of his way to look after his customer, and ensure they were receiving proper service from CMUD to resolve the problem. I would recommend ER Plumbing based upon my experience. I submitted a claim to CMUD for the charges I paid to ER Plumbing for their services, since the problem was in the CMUD sewer, not on our property- it seems that this claim will take some time to resolve.

My husband my working to replace a leaking mixing valve on our shower. He ran into trouble. I looked on Angie's List to find a pumber in our area with excellent reviews. We called E.R. and the customer service line was answered immediately. A Serviceman was in our area on a Saturday. Lance arrived within 30 mins. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Advised us on our options because the problem was larger than a basic repair. Also, while he was at the home, Lance answered our questions regarding a water heater replacement. No complaints. We definitely would use E.R. again.

They installed a tankless water heater and it works great! They were prompt and professional as usual! They guys here are all friendly and know their stuff!! Thanks once again ER Plumbing!! We love you!!!

They presented multiple options from patching to replacing the line and gave me the pros and cons of each. Unlike most places I didn't feel any pressure to go with the more costly option. They finished work faster than I was quoted and also looked into a couple other plumbing issues I've had

We put in all new toilets 8 years ago. In the last month, all three handles have broken. This was the last one to be fixed. Services was quick. Able to call to get an appointment the day before for first thing in the morning. We have used ER Plumbing for many years and have had good service.

Michael and Terry came and did all the work at my house. They are both truly professionals. Both understand and have lots of experience with working in old homes, since you never know what you might find in an old home. Cleaned up all mess and answered all my questions about plumbing and what they were doing. This is the 3rd or 4th large project that I have used ER Plumbing for and they have done fantastic work each time.

The company scheduled an appointment at 8:00, and arrived right on time, which was great, compared to many places that give you a long window of time, and may or may not make it. The service call was $69, which we knew, but it seems that the smallest charge for doing anything is an additional $91. (That was the lowest price category available on the receipt.) So the cost was going to be $160 to remove the easily accessible valve so we could buy a replacement part (the tech did not have one), plus another $91 for him to come back and install it. The tech recommended instead getting a new set of gas logs instead so that we wouldn't have more problems, but we decided against that because of the additional cost. So, we asked the tech to convert our fireplace back to wood burning, so he removed the gas logs and cut off the gas line and capped it. He did a nice job of the work, and was very neat and tidy. (This fell under the same $91 charge as removing the valve only, even though this was much more work, so in this case, it wasn't too bad.) My only complaint is that the minimum cost for a repair, even if it only takes 5 minutes, is $69 for the service call and $91 for the actual work, so $160 minimum. Other repairs in the $91 category on the sheet include "light pilot," "toilet seat," and "plunge fixture", all of which would probably take less than 5 minutes. So, they did good work, but it's not a good value for a small repair. However, on the plus side, it looks like all the services are listed according to the job, so it seems that a phone call to the company could give you a good estimate if you knew what needed to be done.

I just happened to go into the garage early in the morning and found the hot water heater gushing water from the bottom. After a neighbor helped me get the water turned off, I researched this list to find someone to replace it. ER responded first of the three I called, and sent someone out that afternoon. He had the old one drained quickly while he was locating a new one. The space is small and it will not allow just any heater to be installed. The repairman located the nearest supplier and went after the new heater. It was quickly installed, tested thoroughly, and the old one loaded into his truck for disposal. The whole experience was fast and professional, expensive, but it was not anything we could have done ourselves and it was worth it to have it finished so easily.

.The work went well. They cleaned the mess and left the front yard looking neat again.

It was a pretty good service. They did it in a timely fashion. Estimate price was on key.

Mike showed up up 15 minutes early. Assessed the situation in minutes. Explained the repair/replacement process in detail and was done in 1 hour.

the tech was very nice & professional

We have used ER Plumbing for several years and Terry has been at the house at least 3 times before this work. We have been happy with the professionalism and quality of service each time Terry has been out. This time was no exception. We were able to get an estimate with 1-2 days of requesting an estimate, and I was able to schedule the work on my preferred date given that none of the plumbing work was emergency repair. On the scheduled day, Terry showed up at the scheduled time (first job of day) and brought the new toilets in the house right away because it was looking like rain. The work was completed within approximately one-half day as was consistent with the time frame given when Terry was out for the estimate. Our original estimate was for replacing three toilets but one of them proved to be a challenge since the original plumbing was roughed too close to the wall for the selected toilets (10" instead of 12" as for the other toilets in the house). The builder sub either made an error in placing the pipe or the sheet rock crew incorrectly placed the back wall (backs to a closet) and moved this from a 12" to 10" rough. Terry contacted the office and ER Plumbing did some research on finding a toilet that will work in the remaining bathroom since 12" roughs appear to have become the standard. We were provided with some recommendations and are in the process of deciding what to do with the remaining bathroom toilet. Terry told us that there will be no service charge on the next trip out to the house. Aside from the third toilet and the kitchen faucet, all other work was completed as planned. Terry found that he was not able to repair the kitchen faucetwithout parts from Moen because the faucet was stripped and would need to be cut to repair. At this point, we are going to select a new kitchen faucet and will have this installed. Terry provided some recommendations. Dave Parker, the owner, called to provided requested information regarding the kitchen faucets as we want to avoid a chrome plate on the counter top and are going down from a four holed faucet (faucet handle, faucet, sprayer, soap) to a two holed faucet (faucet w/sprayer and handle in one apparatus plus the soap). Dave is obtaining some samples to view that will blend better to to counter top than a chrome plate. We plan to schedule the work once the selection has been made.

Refused to give an hourly labor rate. They charge "by the job" no matter how long it's going to take. Said they would charge $69 just to come and diagnose and to fix a leaking faucet in the bathroom could be "as much as $649". Not satisfied, doesn't seem like they are giving honest charges if they charge "by the job" and not by the amount of labor it takes. Gouging!
