Timely and accurate estimate by the owner. Work performed by owner and another crew. When delayed due to weather, the owner called to give me updates and a date the work would be performed. Work done well and house looks great! Would use again and highly recommend.

Overall, it went great and we are very happy with the services! The owner Mark performed the job himself with one helper. They were very professional, quick and neat! The northern facing roof tiles were stained with black streaks. It is a large roof with many sections and severe pitches. I got Mark's name from my roofer and checked his feedback on Angies List. Everything went well with the project. Mark came out prompyly to give me a quote. I was pleased that he would not be walking on the roof. I was particularly concerned about the cleaning solution possibly staining my natural colored hard stucco walls. Mark assured me that there would be no problems and that he would wet down the walls under the portion of the roof to be treated. Mark was very professional in all of his actions. His e-mailed quote contained a copy of his insurance certificate. We had to reschedule a couple of times due to wet weather. Mark personally does the cleaning and is helped by his son who either held the ladder and/or wetted the stucco walls with a hose. Mark removed the bottom section of all of our downspouts and attached a plastic bag to catch the bleach solution run off. Some of our house is 3 stories tall yet Mark managed to reach all of the areas that were stained. Mark did a great job. He was at our house for 7 hours. He is very thorough. In summary, I am very pleased with Marks work which comes with a 2 year warranty. If nexcessary, I would definitely use his services again.

Initial response for an estimate was prompt. Mark was accommodating to some scheduling changes on my part. Mark and his son were on time for the scheduled time. This was the first time I have cleaned our 13 year old roof. The rear north side was stained with algae and some moss over the majority of the roof and to a lesser degree the front south side. Same for the detached garage. The roof surface area is large and has a steep pitch. After cleaning and the first rain the roof looked new. His cost was competitive with other estimates and he used cleaning fluids consistent with those recommended by major asphalt roof manufacturers. Overall everything went well. I would use him again.

Charlotte Roof Cleaning arrived when they said they would and performed the cleaning of the roof shingles and gutters right away, it took them about 3 hrs to complete the whole roof and gutters. For having to get on the roof and using ladders they did not really cause that much noise, which was nice. They also used silicon to fill some spots and a couple of shingles where maybe branches had fallen on the roof. Overall, I am very pleased with their work the roof and gutters really do look brand new I would definitely use them again.

I contacted Charlotte Roof Cleaning by email on a Sunday afternoon. To my surprise Mark called me that evening and we set up an appointment for Monday afternoon for a quote. He arrived promptly as scheduled, checked out the project, measured and gave me a reasonable quote. We scheduled the work for thar same Friday. They arrived promptly on schedule, covered my shrubs, and went to work. Everything was explained in detail. The roof looks like new! It was covered with moss, mold and algae. Now it looks like it did when the shingles were first installed. Mark sealed some spots on the roof with a silicone material. They cleaned up everything. Very professional. This was a great investment in my home!

I called Mark a couple of weeks ago and had originally scheduled the work to be done last week. I had to reschedule the work and Mark and his helper came out this morning. I appreciate Mark's prompt response in both providing a quote for the job and for scheduling the work. I found him to be very easy to work with and he was excellent in keeping me advised of when he would be coming and on the way. My home is located on a heavily wooded area and quite a lot of debris and branches had accumulated on the backside of the house. Plus, the pollen created in the spring had created a dirty coating to the gutters. Mark completely cleaned the roof and gutters and they look like new. I am very happy with his work and will most likely have him come out in the Fall after the leaves have fallen. The roof looks like it was just installed. I would recommend Mark to anyone who needs their roof to be cleaned, but lack the capability or strength to climb up on the roof.

Charlotte Roofing did an outstanding job of cleaning my roof. The "before and after" pictures tell all. The owner of the cleaning company was very professional, informative and responsive to all questions. The price was very fair given the difficulty of the job and the amount of time taken to perform the cleaning process. The results were impressive and I have absolutely no issues in recommending this company for any needs of exterior cleaning. The company responded immediately to my request for an on-site assessment and discussion of alternatives/timing and costs. The job was immediately scheduled and then performed as promised. To say that I was impressed and totally satisfied is an understatement.

Mark promptly returned my call, scheduled appointment, explained the problem and described what he would do to clear it up. He provided pamphlets indicating what product he would be using as well as his certificate of insurance and gave me an estimate for the job. An incredible service performed by Mark (Charlotte Roof Cleaning). I was amazed of the results. I feared I might have to replace the roof, but when I met with Mark, he assured me the roof would look like new - and it did. Mark was prompt when he set the time for the estimate. He quoted me the price right there and that was the final price when the work was completed. He showed up the day he set during the estimate and performed the work without disturbing any surroundings. He protected the trees and shrubs and he even touched up a few spots on the house that were not even part of the proposed work without charge. I highly recommend his services to anyone who needs a roof cleaning service or has questions whether the roof can be restored to it's original condition or if replacement is needed. He gets all the possible stars in my book.

Mark did an outstanding job, from the time he responded very quickly to my phone message, came out to give an estimate to the actual cleaning. He was punctual, thorough, detailed about what he wanted to do and did an excellent job of transforming our roof which had significant stains from algae and lichens. Our roof looks great and no longer appears to need replacement.

Mark arrived at my house a week ago to survey what areas of the roof needed cleaning. I also asked if could clean areas of my wood siding where bacteria/algae was growing. While on my roof, Mark noticed that there were gaps along the mortar of my chimney and he sealed those using a silicon-based sealant. What was outstanding about that was Mark sealed my chimney at no charge and before he knew that I'd select him to do the roof cleaning. What I also liked was Mark took a few extra minutes to educate me on the types of bacteria/mold/algae that was growing on my roof, the impact to my roof, the method/solution he uses as well as how he ensures his solution does not harm the environment. All this impressed me but a primary factor was price. I'd asked around and decided to select Mark for the job. Yesterday, Nov 12, 2012, Mark arrived first thing in the morning to do the work. After 2-3 hours, Mark was done and the roof and siding was free of the bacteria/algae/mold. Better yet, the roof and siding seemed to "pop" after a good cleaning. There was no mess or fuss to deal with after the job. Overall, I'm very pleased and highly recommend Mark to do any roof cleaning needed.

I called Charlotte Roof Cleaning service on Wednesday morning. Mark returned by call within the hour. He came out the following day to provide an estimate, called me later that day to confirm an appointment to perform the service the following morning. They arrived on schedule, performed the roof cleaning in a thorough and professional manner. They performed the work as agreed and for the quoted price and also cleaned some mildew off the gutters. My roof looks great. I would recommend this company to others.

I found this company after researching "roof cleaning" on Angie's List. The owner Mark promptly returned my call and met me at the house to do an estimate. He provided the estimate on the spot. After reviewing two other proposals I hired Charlotte Roof Cleaning. The major factor for my decision was the clear explanation Mark provided of the process and my comfort level that there would be no damage to my roof or landscaping. I also asked and was provided copies of their insurance policy. I wanted to make sure they were fully insured while on my property. They were not the least expensive, but I felt were the best value and would do the best job. The roof looks even better then I thought it would. Neighbors actually called to ask if we had a new roof put on. I am very glad we did it.

Mark came out and gave me an estimate and scheduled the work. He called frequently to advise me of weather conditions (rain) that required him to postpone the cleaning for a few days. He and his crew showed up on time and completed the job in approximately 4 hours. My gray shingled roof was black with fungus and I had heavy moss growing in a couple of shaded locations. Immediately following the application, the roof looked new---he even cleaned the outside of the gutters. The moss immediately turned yellow and Mark said that it would come off the roof within a couple of rain storms. It rained approximately 5 days later and I'd say that 95% of the moss is gone. Mark told me that if any stubborn areas did not come off, just to give him a call. He'd come out and treat the area if necessary and/or hose the area to remove the moss. My foundation and steps look new with no green algae. The process is low pressure and did not remove granules from my roof. Looks great.
