 + -1 moreWhen I initially spoke with the owner (Daryl), he was so friendly and down to earth. I set up a time and Daryl and AJ were their right on time (and a courtesy call letting me know he was on his way). After showing him around, he knew exactly what was needed to get the job done. Within no time, AJ had things set up and ready to go. AJ was done in a matter of moments. Daryl and AJ are not only professional, but also very personable. I have a puppy and she loves to play and meet new people. Both Daryl and AJ acknowledged Koko (my puppy) and showed her some attention which she loved!!!! This is why these guys have won so many awards. Their customer service is out of this world. And, that is something you don't find to much of these days!!! Will do business with them again, again, and again. Have referred them to several folks!!!
Description of Work: The upstairs hallway and stairs were steam cleaned with a protective agent applied to help reduce future odors and germs caused by doggie accidents from my puppy.

 + -1 moreThis is the third time using Carpet Pros and I am still happy. I check Angie's list periodically to make sure their rating is high before calling them again. Sure enough, great scores as usual. The very first time we had our carpet cleaned (new carpeting) by them there was a slight crunchiness to the carpet. Darrell, the owner, came out and immediately had it corrected and even added a stain guard for free. Great customer service which is so hard to find these days.

 + -1 moreWe feel that such rude, discourteous and, to say the least, unprofessional behavior should not go unreported. He does NOT deserve your #1 rating!
Description of Work: We have 2 year old outdoor carpeting on our deck which became quite stained with mildew/mold. As it is regular woven carpeting, not a plastic material, but made for outdoor installation, we were advised by the manufacturer to have it professionally cleaned. After consulting Angie's List we left a message for Darrell Thomas of Carpet Pros, rated first by you. He came to our home, and after looking at the deck, said he was sure he could help us but wanted to research for the best method of cleaning. Several days later he called and told my husband he was deciding between 2 cleaning methods and would call the next day for a work appointment. This was almost 2 weeks ago. We never heard again from Mr. Thomas, and have left repeated messages on his voicemail, simply to find out if he had changed his mind and why. Obviously we're no longer interested in his services and have made other arrangements.

Description of Work: I called the answering service left my name and home number, said I was a member, he called and left a message, I called him back and that time I left my home and cell phone (which I don't usually give out and carry at all times), and he never called me back.

 + -1 moreI called Carpet Pros and talked to Darrell. He was helpful and was able to get me on the schedule within a few days. Tony was the carpet cleaner assigned to our house. He called before arriving to say he would be early. He was friendly and knowledgeable about carpets and carpet cleaning. Before getting to work, he went through each room with me, asked questions, and made sure that the total price matched my expectations. He was professional. I am pleasantly surprised how wonderful the carpets look. Tony even went an extra step and cleaned my ottoman for me, my toddler had just spread sunscreen all over it the day before. That was the icing on the cake. I will definitely call Carpet Pros again.
Description of Work: Tony moved necessary furniture. He cleaned all of the carpets upstairs and the living room downstairs. He deep cleaned stains.

 + -1 moreThey were a very good & reliable company. They came as scheduled. They did call ahead 10-15 minutes. Two employees. They did a good job cleaning our carpets. They placed corner wall protector & wood floor runner protectors. They also elevated some of the furniture with blocks. I will definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: They cleaned 5.5 rooms (Family room, Dining room, Living room, Master bedroom & Office) plus a walk-in closet (i.e. 1/2 room). They did not charge for the closet. I used Angie's coupon. Plus they Scotch Guarded the Office & Closet carpet.

 + -1 moreI have Carpet Pros clean our carpets and add teflon protection yearly. I have Tony come to do the job in 2 phases so that we can have most of the furniture moved and get as much of the carpeting cleaned and protected. Tony and Rob did phase 1 this week, and I was worried that some of the spots wouldn't come out, but just as last year, Tony got every spot up! We will do phase 2 in a few weeks in the other rooms. We put very light colored carpets (big mistakes even without children) in the house, but we are very pleased with how clean it looks! Also, although the Teflon treatment costs more, it's applied into the carpet with the cleaning. I believe this makes a huge difference in keeping the carpet clean longer and getting the spots out of the carpet.
Description of Work: Had 3 rooms, hallway and stairs cleaned with Teflon applied. Also had some pre-spot treatments on some dirty areas.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job for me. They were very professional and honest. I asked them if I needed to have my upholstery cleaned, but he told me to wait since I was moving. He said he didn't want to take my money and then I'd have to pay to have it done again after the move. I 've already recommended him to my neighbors.

 + -1 moreDarrell called a few hours before the appointment as he promised, and Tony, the technician, contacted me when he was on his way for my appointment. The general cleaning was reasonably priced and the deep cleaning cost extra, and was well worth the cost. All of the carpet cleaning, including the deep cleaning treatment and the Scotchgard, took about 3 hours. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Tony took the extra step to move furniture to clean, also. That was a great service!!! The cleaning was done two weeks ago and the stains have not returned. I think I can live with the carpet for at least another two years. Thanks, Darrell and Tony, for the great service!!
Description of Work: I moved to Matthews a year ago. I purchased a home that is 5 years old now. The carpet was badly stained, so I had the carpet cleaned professionally by another company before I moved into the house. Within a few days the carpet stains reappeared. I also tried products from local carpet stores, which removed some of the stains temporarily. There were other stains that I and could not remove, so I was prepared to live with the stained carpet until I could replace it. Since I am new to the Charlotte area and unfamiliar with any of the local vendors, a neighbor recommended I join Angie s list. I contacted Carpet Pro and talked to Darrell, the owner. We talked about the stains and a process his company has that will deep clean the carpet and the pad below, extracting the culprit of the stain. I scheduled the cleaning appointment for the next week.

Darrell stayed until job completed and confirmed several stained areas were stain free. Very pleasant and professional to deal with. He told me it may take a week to 10 days to return the rugs, but he called on the fifth day and said the rugs were ready. The rugs were returned in beautiful condition. Very professional service.
Description of Work: Two wool area rugs ( 8x10 and 5 ft. round) cleaned, protected and moth proofed.
