I had taken quotes from two companies that had the highest ratings on Angies List, and Bradham Brothers were $1,000 cheaper than the other competitor for exactly the same equipment and exactly the same warranty. They showed up when they said they would. They did the work and it was a very good experience. It was excellent and I had no problems at all. I got a discount for paying cash. They told me who was going to come and I was at home the day they did the work. They were very easy to work with and they were nice to my dog. They were clean, well-dressed and polite. They seemed to know what they were doing. They were very good at working with me and getting back with me to make sure that we could get the electrical inspector in. They took the initiative on that rather than having me to remember to call and make arrangements. Everybody from the receptionist to the guys who came out to give me the quote and the people who actually did the work were very nice. I did not feel that somebody was trying to sell me a used car. I am very happy with my experience.

Initially I was a little upset that I took off work to get home to meet the technician, and nobody showed, after I called to find out what happened, they told me they did not have me on their schedule. The next day, a very apologetic person called to make things right, and they came out the same day to service our AC unit. I would use them in the future, but verufy my appointment next time!

They did a wonderful job. We had been without heat for 5 days and they were able to get right in and replace it when others couldn't. They were also one of the cheapest estimates.

Bradham was easy to work with and responsive to our questions and follow up issues. The Mecklenberg County inspector even commented to me that "Bradham does good work". Very easy process from beginning to end.

I always enjoy their services. They are reasonable and address our issues in a timely manner.

I called Bradham Monday morning. Tommy, Bradham's employee, came out Monday afternoon... on time. He checked out the issue and explained it to me. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He had to go get the motor that our unit needed. He was back in no time. He replaced the motor, cleaned out the coils in the unit, and put it back together quickly. Our unit is working great! It's good to have conditioned air. :) The one downside was the price. Although I am a 10-year customer, they wouldn't accept payments. In today's economy, payment plans (for smaller projects) would be a welcome feature especially for long-time customers.

They were very prompt and professional. The unit works great since they replaced the compressor. The owner of the company came over to my house to give me an assessment of how to improve the efficiency of my a/c unit. He was honest and told me that a bigger unit would not help me much with the existing ductwork in my home.

I spent about $14000 on that service. I have known then them since they started in business, they have worked for my entire family off, and so we have been in business relationship for a lot of years. They did an excellent job and there was nothing to clean up after they left because they cleaned up very well. I have been recommending them to others for years. They will take care of my heating and air-conditioning as long as I am still breathing.

They came out and checked things and told me what was wrong.

We have had real good service with them. They have a very professional approach with no hard sell.

set appointment for estimate... showed up 10 minutes early. set date to install... showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner. cleaned up as though no one was ever there. i have used bradham for several years and have never had a problem. no high pressure ... honest and professional.

Great experience all the way around! Here's some highlights: I moved into a home with two 17-yr old heat pumps that were constantly breaking down. After being thoroughly disappointed with several repair services, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase two new heat pumps. I called Bradham Brothers because 1) they were an authorized Trane dealer and 2) they had great ratings and reviews on Angie's List. When Gary and Randy showed up to give me a proposal they first insisted on taking a look at my non-working heat pump (for free) to see if they could get it working. It needed some replacement parts and was in rough shape, but they informed me it could still be repaired if I was interested. I already had my mind made up to purchase new heat pumps, but I appreciated honesty that could have cost them a sale. They spent 20-30 minutes taking measurements, inspecting my air ducts, etc. Afterwards, I was presented with written recommendations to replace each unit. They explained the pros/cons of each option in detail, outlined available rebates/discounts and reviewed the installation process from start to finish. I felt very comfortable the entire time and never felt pressured to purchase anything. I was told it would take two days for a two-man crew to complete the installation -- one day to replace each unit. To my surprise, four guys showed up on the first day of installation and knocked out the whole job in 6 hours. The installation looks great and they cleaned up behind themselves and removed my old units from the property. Because I paid by cash/check, I received a 2% discount which was a great option to reduce the cost. During the sales visit, I was informed that both new heat pumps would qualify for a rebate from Duke Energy. Shelby Bradham called me a couple days later to get my Duke Energy account number so she could submit the rebates on my behalf (a nice touch!). She then told me a mistake had been made on the proposal and that it turns out one of my new units didn't meet the specifications to qualify for the rebate. Before I said a word, she told me to expect a $200 check from Bradham Brothers to cover the rebate amount I was quoted (the check arrived in the mail the next day). That speaks volumes to me about the ethics of this company. A few days after the installation, I received well-organized package in the mail containing a detailed invoice, tax rebate documents for next year's tax return and information about Trane's 10-yr parts & labor warranty. I couldn't be happier with the finished product and had a thoroughly positive experience. I would make the same choice again in a heartbeat and can't recommend this company enough.

I would recommend them very highly. I have just had good experiences with them. They are very dependable and punctual. I have used them for a while.

Good bid, good job of installing the unit in the required space and making it work with the existing older AC unit. Tested the unit to be sure it ran after installation but did not supervise the electrical subcontractor to be sure he followed through on installing the electrical connections. Bradham had to be called back to supervise the final stage of the installation after the electrical subcontractor did not show up and the furnace did not run. This was our second experience with them, and in the past we have been more than happy with their work and their follow-through, as well as the fast service on warranteed equipmenmt. In this case, the Bradham crew chief was very apologetic and polite. He came back to supervise the electrical installation and ensure the unit ran right. We would assume this incident was a wakeup call, and that it will not happen again.

Absolutely one of the best companies I have dealt with in Charlotte. Everyone from the initial technician that diagnosed the problem to the final installation of new equipment was handled by polite, honest and courteous people. Pete Bradham visited and went over all my replacement options in detail. After his visit he welcomed any additinal quesitons that I needed answering before my final decision. Provided information with his expertise but did not steer me toward anything more expensive. Just laid out the facts. Will use them again in a minute.

I have not had anyone work done yet, but they were very good at communicating with me about my questions. They gave me detail/helpful information over the phone.

Gary came as appointed, crawled under the house, and then gave us a good analysis of needed replacement equipment and included several reasonable options. I think he gave an honest and accurate assessment and provided good information as to when they could do the work. They seemed pretty busy in Decmeber already, but we needed it done then to get the tax credit.) I suspect he had to do some things to work us in. Anyway, the crew came as scheduled and did the installation in a day, as promised/estimated. It was a record cold day, in the teens, but they pressed on professionally and got it done in a rather restricted crawl space. Works fine so far. Will come back in spring to activate the AC. I believe if something is not just right, that they will make it right. They appear to be a well-run and honest business, and I am happy to have them looking after our HVAC equipment. A nice touch was a thank you note from Gary after the job was finished.

Excellent job overall. No complaints. They showed up on time and did good work. My furnace had an unusual problem, in which it refused to shut off and would continue to blow cold air throughout the house unless I switched off the circuit breaker. It turned out that the furnace?s electronics had worn out over time and needed to be replaced. Even though the diagnosis took longer than expected to perform, the company did not charge me more than their original estimate. My furnace has been working well ever since.

My experience with them has been good. The Train System was not cheap but I have been pleased with it and this company. I've heard others complement them as well. I have had no problems with them at all.

These guys were a pleasure to work with during the entire process from the initial estimate through to the final billing. Estimate: The guy who came to give me the initial estimate (Gary) was very professional and knowledgeable. I was given a folder containing a written estimate showing two different options to fit my needs, including the model numbers of each component of the system. The folder also included brochures for each component, information about the company and how it operates, a printout from the Better Business Bureau showing their A+ rating and even a page referencing a 'Best of' award that they got on Angie's List. The other companies that I got estimates from only showed me information about their equipment from a book, and they left me with no documentation and no written estimate. Not only did Bradham Brothers provide excellent documentation, I even received a 'Thank You' letter from Gary in the mail the next day. Choosing Bradham Brothers was a no brainer. Installation: The installation crew was very professional as well. They arrived on time and finished when they said they would. The only issue that occurred was that they installed the wrong size AC unit. However they caught this mistake themselves at the office, and the crew was out the next morning to switch out the unit for the correct one. Everything looks and works great. Even the inspector said that the installation crew did a great job. Once again I received a 'Thank You' card from Gary in the mail. Billing: Bradham Brothers offers a 2% discount for payment in full by check. I was planning to take advantage of this, but I did not read the full wording of the discount and missed the fact that this only applies if you pay the installation crew as soon as the job is complete. After I got the invoice in the mail, I called the office about the discount. I spoke with Gary, who explained how the discount worked. Without me even asking, he said that he would still honor the discount. That's customer service! I will now use Bradham Brothers exclusively and will highly recommend them to friends and family. PS...I think Gary is trying for 'Employee of the Month', and he should get it.

They were excellent. They did a great job. They were honest and on-time. They even came back a year later to check the system at no charge.

Recommended by Angie's List and a friend, I called Bradham Brothers. The lady who took my call was very courteous. She recorded my information and the reason for the call and, then, explained the company's pricing policy. Someone from the company was able to come promptly. (I think he might have been the owner of the company.) He quickly determined the problem, made the necessary adjustments and charged no more than the minimum. He was polite, knowledgeable and professional in demeanor. I would, most definately, use Bradham Brothers again.

After the visit, we thought it went well. But nine days later, we discovered they had not taken the cover off the condensate drain, when water began pouring out of the overflow drain onto our deck. When my husband went up to the attic and took the cover off the unit, he discovered mold and slime -- so he called Bradham back the next day. The service manager told my husband that of couse they didn't take the cover off -- we had not asked for that as part of the preventative maintenance, and the next time they (Bradham) came, we should make a list of what we wanted them to check. I hesitate to think that I could be a single person owning the house and would never, ever know what they should check. In the past, we have recommended Bradham to several people, and we regret very, very much that we did so. In this economy, especially, it is absolutely amazing to me that they care so little about customer service and implied this was our fault. I would not recommend Bradham to anyone at any time.

I called the office at 6:30 a.m. and was very impressed that a person answered the phone and not an answering service. Someone was able to come out that morning and repair my unit. A few days later, I returned from being out of town, and the unit was not cooling. I called at 5:00 p.m. and then again at 5:30 p.m. Both times, a person answered the phone and someone was at my house by 6:30 to check the unit (a clip had come loose). They did not charge me for the second visit. I was impressed with the quick and personal service during the hot weather.

I hired Bradham Bros to execute the proposal as presented. Two employees showed up, very polished, cordial and very conscientious about not tracking in dirt in our house. They told me what they were going to do and answered questions as I asked them--very knowledgeable. The work took about 2 hours and the job indeed worked. The room is now as cool as the rest of the house. Also, Bradham Bros has done other work for me and have always been top notch.
