Andersen Heating & Cooling

The two servicemen who came to my home were very professional and very nice. They covered all floors they had to use and wore covers on their shoes also. After the installation, they vacuumed and cleaned up really well. I was very pleased with the whole job.

They are excellent. He showed up on time and was very professional and polite. I can't say enough good about them. We have an annual contract with them, so they come out twice a year to check our air conditioner and furnace. The technician, Nelson, really took his time with the service and discussing everything with me as well. He seemed to go above and beyond with the service.

The rep that we always ask for is very good, and she lets us know of any other problems we might have, I would also recommend them.

We have a contract with them to service the heating and air conditioning twice a year. They have a checklist they go over. We are considered a grade A customer so if we have a problem, they will come to us as one of the first people if our system was to go out. The door keeps falling off the furnace. The prices are high.

The upstairs air conditioning system stopped working. Andersen sent a technician, Julie, to our home that afternoon. She has worked at other homes in our subdivision and was aware of a common problem these home had with the A/C systems. A cheap off/on switch was used which was not rated for A/C service and is located in the attic near the A/C units. These switches have be cracking due to the heat in the attic. Julie replaced the switches to both A/C units. Her knowledge of this common problem, the quick service, and the extremely reasonable charge is very much appreciated. I also appreciate that she fixed what needed to be fixed, and did not try to sell us any kind of service agreement. We could not be more satisfied and will call Andersen the next time we have heating or cooling problems.

The Andersen team went above and beyond on my project. One of my units was straight forward simple attic install. The other one was VERY SPECIFIC. The area they had to work with was very tight. As a matter of fact the Andersen team went through all of the providers in the industry to get a unit that would fit, as well as a unit that had the SEER rating I wanted. The second unit in addition to being tight was also in a hard to get to space. The team made sure that we had proper air flow and that there would be no condensation issues in the future. They even sent a specialist to the house to make sure everything worked correctly. As you can see I would use Andersen again (As luck would have it I have). I Highly recommend Anderson to those in need of their services.

They had a part go bad, and it's under warranty and they're charging me $250.00 for labor. The guy was very nice and polite, however, I just felt like they were gouging me on the labor because they couldnt' charge me on the part. I called and talked to the manager and he said that is what they charge.

Called Anderson and since it was the holiday(day after Thanksgiving) got their answering service. They called me back within the hour and scheduled the visit for the next day, said that they would fit me in. Brian came out and after troubleshooting the system found the problem and had heat working within a few hours. Later that evening system shut down due to a low voltage fuse.Had to call Anderson again that evening and they said that they would get Brian out first thing in the morning. He came out and got the system running and we had heat again. But later that evening it tripped the fuse again. Had to have them come out one more time and found a loose wire that may have caused the issue. Seems to be working fine the rest of the day. Very professional and very prompt. Would gladly use them again.

My A/C went out and a Service Technician was able to come the next day. He diagnosed the issue right away and ordered the part. He did the repair along with A/C maintenance. I did google the name of the part and felt the price was about average, but overall I liked the Service Tech who came and he offered suggestions and didn't seem to mind telling me what he was doing as he did it and educating me a little.

They were very nice and polite. We felt secure because they come out every summer and fall for maintenance. You pay $150 give or take for the maintenance service.

My house is brand new but my air conditioner went out. They told me to check to see if I still had a warranty. I was told my warranty had expired, but I had a 5 year parts warranty. Another provider suggested I go through Anderson because I would only have to pay for labor. I had to stay at my mother's house because my home was too hot. Anderson let me know they were at my house to begin working. 5 minutes after my father told me they were at my house the service man said he knew what was wrong and it would be $195.00 and I told him to wait until I got there to fix it. Since I had the warranty on parts he said it was the labor that would cost $195.00. It took 5 minutes to figure out the problem and it was a simple problem so I was curious as to why it was $195.00 for just the labor. I asked them to tell me how they calculate labor. I was never called back and the customer service person called the technician instead of me. They didn't address the question and the price was still unclear to me. I had to call the technician back to do the work and I took pictures of the technician while he was doing work so people could see what they charged $195.00 for. My house is cool again but not as cool as it was before it broke. I woke up the next morning and the temperature in the house had risen from when we went to bed. I called them back and told them something was wrong but that I didn't want anyone to come until I returned. They explained the problem was due to lightning striking my box and I needed to call an electrician. That box outside my house has been fine for 3 years and there weren't any problems until they came and worked on my house and AC. They keep blaiming lightning for the power going out. They said they are done with it and will not fix anything.

This was Wednesday Evening when I called, they were going to set me up with an appointment for the next day (Thursday) However with crazy work schedules I needed an appointment Friday. I set up an appointment and was told sometime after 4pm Friday, and the technician would call when he was on his way. I thought it a little strange when all the information they took was my phone number and address, but none the less what else would they really need at that moment. So Friday rolls around I had to get off work to make sure I was home and what happened? Nothing. Exactly nothing. No call, no technician. I called and even received no answer. So I cannot comment on the quality of work since no work was ever done.

We were very displeased when one of their representatives came out and intentionally tried to sell us something that we did not need. They were always very quick to respond if we had a heating or cooling issue. I've got to give them credit for that.

It went very well. They gave me a good price and did a good job. They were very thorough in what they did. In the downstairs they replaced a pipe system that I had to replace several times before. They were very clean and made sure nothing was disturbed in the house. In the crawl space they made sure to use plastic so it did not get damaged. They were very good overall. They did an excellent job. I paid a little extra but got a 10 year parts and labor warranty on the system. They have been nice to work with. I do not like their answering service in off hours.

What Anderson Services Inc. Construction did for me made all the difference.

Zach Beatty has been my service technician for the past 2 years. He is outstanding. It is very important to find a company and especially a technician who is honest and trustworthy. I have found that person in Mr. Beatty. He takes his time and explains everything he is doing. I want the same technician for every visit because he knows the air conditioning and heating systems. I would certainly recommend him.

As I already mentioned above, Ed M was prompt and came prepared to perform the check and maintenance on my HVAC system per my annual maintenance agreement. He was very concscientious, explained what he was looking for every step of the way (because I was interested), performed the work in a very timely manner and left the areas of the home he worked in neat and clean. Not even a spec of insulation from where the attic stairs was pulled down!

We have used Anderson (with an annual maintenance contract) exclusively since 2006 and have experienced only complete satisfaction with their service. In several instances - over this period - service was needed after hours, or over a weekend. Response was always prompt - necessary parts on hand with technician - and repairs efficiently made. The overall benefits of their maintenance contract far outweigh the cost.

The technician noticed on a prior visit that the wrong size filter was installed on our system. He measured the area and ordered a new filter. He then came and installed the filter.

The service earned an A rating. The technician was prompt and called before arriving. The service was performed in a timely manner and no mess was left behind. The technician was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He provided helpful information for the optimal running of the system. We will definitely be continuing our services with Andersen.

It went fine. They called yesterday to confirm the appointment and were on time today. He checked the filters, the ducts and tested the system to see that it came on and off .

The technician arrived in the assigned time frame and immediately got to work. He was very thorough and went over the results in good detail.

The system is working beautifully now. We're very happy with them. They were very courteous and professional. They fixed the problem. We were very happy with them.

Andersen installed a whole house dehumidifier but it didn't work as advertised. After a few months of adjustments Andersen replaced the original unit with a larger unit that is working perfectly.

John was rude, condescending and had a terrible attitude. He called at 10:25 am. I was in the yard and missed his call. However I told the office I would be home all day. I returned his call at 10:33. He had changed his route and would not come back until he worked his other calls. He arrived at 2:46. He initially told us the problem was not the compressor. He made five other diagnoses before stating it was the compressor. This took two hours and forty five minutes. Upon receiving the price I called two other companies and asked what they charged for labor to replace a compressor that was under warranty. Anderson?s price was $1000 more. I called Anderson and cancelled the cancelled the service call. The receptionist asked why. I told her it was the price. She said I should talk to Dale Anderson who was gone for the weekend but his cell phone was connected to his voice mail and he would return the call. He did not return the call. We had another company do the work. One week later Anderson came to do a pre paid maintenance check. The technician asked if we had any problems. I told him of the previous weeks service call and that John?s attitude, the $1000 higher price and Dale Anderson?s lack of concern lost the company a customer. Dale Anderson called apologized.
