+ 0 moreThey went the extra mile, which I liked a lot. They were very accommodating. They easily worked with my schedule and added a few extras like trimming the trees. What I disliked was that they left kind of a mess. They didn't really pick up any of the leaves or twigs.
Description of Work: I used American Gutter & Roof Cleaning for gutter cleaning of my two-story home and detached work shed. They also trimmed the trees around my roof.

+ -1 morePrompt service from firt phone call. Don't need to be at home. Can wait until the first rain until gutters flow freely to pay bill. I always pay immediately because I have used them before and know the work is great.
Description of Work: We have a heavily wooded lot and gutters that get full of leaves. Our two-story house is built into the side of a hill and is more like three-stories high. Woody is prompt, efficient, and does excellent work. We have used him for four years now.

They came out and left a written estimate, I called them back to schedule and they had the gutters installed the following week. I never needed to be there for any of these steps which I appreciated. Given that this was not a rush and a small job, I appreciated that the job was done in less than 2 weeks.

The work was scheduled promptly as well, and all the work was perfomed as promised by the owner of the company, Woody Tison. He was very helpful, eager to perform the work, and he receptive to our questions regarding the area the original roofers had messed up. He quickly and efficiently performed the work. We were very pleased and his price was very reasonable for the work he did. I would definitely use American gutter again.
Description of Work: We needed gutters cleaned on a 2 story home ,and there was a repair of an area in the roof where shingles had not been laid properly over a conduit for electrical wires.

Woody figured out what we needed done, gave us a quote and returned in a couple of days with all the materials he needed and got the jobs done very quickly and thoroughly. One thing that particularly impressed us was that he had the integrity to refer us to someone else when we asked him to do a job on our (very high) roof. He admitted he wasn't the best man for the job and the person he recommended worked out very well. Most people wouldn't be willing to do that, but he looked beyond his own gain so we could get a proper repair job done. That's a top-quality contractor.
Description of Work: We had a couple places where are gutters weren't handling the volume of rain water flowing into them, due to a sub-standard gutter guard installation performed by a different contractor (whom we did not get through Angie's List). Consulting Angie's List, we got Woody Tison's name and company. He was punctual and knew exactly how to fix the problem. He installed an additional drainpipe down the back of the house in an obscure place and a plastic flexible tube under the deck so the water could exit into an existing drain. We were so pleased with the job he did that when we noticed a serious draining issue on the front of the house a couple weeks later, we called him again. On 3/26, he installed another flexible tube (hidden behind the front bushes) to direct the water away from the house ($210).

+ -1 moreWe were away on vacation when the work was done however I was very satisfied with the installation and quality of the product the company installed. They replaced gutters that where only three years old but not sufficient in size or properly installed. The gutter AGR installed where over sized and provided the necessary capacity to catch the water coming off my roof. Great product and great service!

+ 0 moreWoody came out right on time with an assistant and went right to work, within 90 minutes he had completed the job which required some alterations to the old covers as well as then need to install some new material. He was right on time, performed the job quickly, and was very neat and clean.
Description of Work: I had "The Gutter Guys" install vinyl clad aluminum over the fascia behind my gutters AND install new gutters and downspouts. The old gutters had aluminum covers on them installed by American Gutter, they were removed and set aside during the new installation. I called Woody at American Gutter and had him come out and re-install the covers and make some changes because of some alterations in the new installation.

Woody was very courteous, professional, and skilled. He was very careful not to damage the roof & flower beds with ladders. He bagged all leaf waste & metal pieces - very clean job! We really like the way the gutter performed in the next rainfall!

Additionally, I asked him if he would be willing to hang my icicle lights while he was on the roof. This is, of course, not his area of expertise and he certainly did not have to do it, but he was more than willing to and he did an excellent job. I really appreciated the fact that he was willing to go the extra mile for us. This is a top notch service provider and I would recommend him to anybody.
