Description of Work: We woke up on SuperBowl Sunday to find that our heat was not working. The Adams technician was here within 30 minutes of calling- even on a Sunday. He quickly identified the problem and had the parts to fix it. It was not inexpensive but the good news was, that it was able to be fixed as our system is pretty old.

Description of Work: Call to see why furnace wasn't blowing hot air. Was then charged $750 to replace a circuit board. A mere couple of weeks later furnace had same issue... this time they guy (different guy) said it the air feed/duct needed to be cleaned out. I wasn't charged for second visit... good thing because I believe I was ripped off on first visit. Also, overflow was not working and I asked about it ... only thing they wanted to do is sell me a whole new system. I talked with a friend and he told me to just use a dry vac to clean out the drain pipe... I did this myself and the issue was fixed. I won't be using this company again.

We replaced 2 components on the furnace, the control board and pressure switch (which had a fault a few weeks later in which we did not charge for that). We found water stains on both components. Water is comming in from the flue pipe which is tilted on the roof allowing the rain water ,in small amounts, to enter the system. We identified several items like this that cause systems to have operation failures, operate inefficiently or under perform. We did not try to "sell" anything, we make sure homeowners are given all the information so they can make an informed desicision.

ADAMS WAS GREAT! THEY WERE VERY PROMPT IN SENDING SOMEONE OVER FOR AN ESTIMATE, AND HAD THE INSTALLATION DONE IN TWO DAYS. THE ESTIMATOR AND WORKERS WERE ALL PLEASANT AND POLITE. THEIR PRICE WAS APPROPRIATE FOR THE WORK DONE.

I HAVE HAD ADAMS WORK ON MY HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING FOR THE PAST TWELVE YEARS. IT ALWAYS AMAZES ME THAT THEY'RE WORK REMAINS SUPERIOR TO OTHERS IN THE FIELD AND THAT THEY ARE SO PUNCTUAL. I WAS QUITE IMPRESSED THAT THEY ACTUALLY VACUUMED MY RUG AFTER THEY WERE FINISHED INSTALLING THE FURNACE. THEY'RE A CLASS ACT.
