Adams heat was at my house the next morning. (I did not request night service) and replaced a part in the heating unit.

A dispatcher showed up in 30 minutes after I called. Very pleasant, professional, conscientious about using booties while in the home. Was told I needed a capacitor so with the $89 diagnostic fee it was just under $400. The only disappointment was that I assumed the $89 service fee would go towards the repair cost, as this is the only HVAC, plumbing or electrical company I've used (and we own five homes as we have rentals) that don't apply the fee to the repair if you have work done. This fact would be enough for me to consider using another company next time, as it results in an almost $100 swing in price.

Adam's was amazing. They came out for the first service, checked everything, cleaned my unit and helped explain how everything worked and why it was important to have regular maintenance on an AC unit. My capacitor was also close to burning out the motor on my indoor unit, and they showed me all of the readings and got that replaced onsite. Four days later, the breaker started flipping to the off position again. Adam's was back at my house within four hours and with no additional cost to me, they helped me determine that the connection to the breaker was simply loose. They went above and beyond to help me make sure that was corrected even though they didn't have to. I am female and was home alone, but felt extremely comfortable with each of the two technicians I interacted with. They were polite, courteous and answered all my questions since I am an "AC dummy." I am so grateful I called them and I also signed up for a twice a year maintenance plan to make sure I keep this unit in great shape. Thanks SO much Corey (1st Tech) and Chris (2nd Tech). I am very satisfied with them. I have an annual service contract with them. they come in the fall and spring. They have also done work for me. The just recently installed two A/C units. They are a very reputable company. They were recommended to me by a neighbor of mine who grew up in this neighborhood. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Great Service, Great Price, No Pressure! After bidding to multiple companies, I chose Adams to replace my upstairs heat pump. Marco was honest and upfront about the options and prices for replacing the old unit. I was so impressed with what he and the Adams team offered, I decided to replace my downstairs unit as well. Marco made sure I was aware of the full process and checked-in throughout the installation to ensure everything went smoothly. Everyone was very considerate and courteous and the new units work great!

We have them out for service twice a year. We have been a long time customer. They have been with us through two properties. We have been customers with them for 16 years. Even when we made the move, we called them to come check out our new home with us. They are very timely. They have a particular window that they set up for you for scheduled appointments. Each technician has their own credentials, uniforms and company vehicles. Very professional and spends quality amount of time in terms of explaining any particular service needs and going over and making sure that we understand everything that we need to understand. The cost is spread over two appointments.

Dave arrived as promised. Quickly analyzed problem and repaired it.

The installation went fine. However, during the 10 year warranty period guaranteed in the purchase contract the compressor went bad and had to be replaced at a cost of $1,900. It turns out that the 10 year warranty by the manufacturer was legally binding only if Adams Heating and Air Conditioning had purchased such a warranty from the manufacturer. Adams failed to purchase the warranty and left the customer to seek other remedies. I believe the company walked away from the guarantee noted in the purchase agreement. They were also very slow to respond to phone calls and never responded in writing to the complaint. At a minimum, I would advise anyone doing business with this company to obtain a copy of the manufacturer's warranty for any unit purchased from Adams. Based on my experience, I would not use the company again nor recommend them.

Yesterday we had our spring maintenance performed. Our technician, Dave, did a though job of checking everything and even cleaned the debris from our outside system during the servicing. We feel confident that our systems are well maintained with this company.

Great, they were on schedule, professional, courteous. I have used this company for 10 years and would recommend to a friend. They also replaced my upstairs duct work and custom designed the path of the ductwork to maximize airflow. The results are remarkable. Airflow is dramatically improved and system is more efficient. I plan to re-do the downstairs ductwork this year.

They came on Monday after getting check up and estimate Friday. They were two very nice men, putting blue boots on their shoes to be sure not to put mud inside. Decided to change the Thermostat at no additional cost to be sure to prevent any future problems. After two days we realized the house was getting dry, we called the office and today Friday a new technician came and realized that the very busy guys had forgotten to set up humidifier. He did, and we are set and happy. We have used them before: Many years ago Duke Power convinced us to have the under house pipes of our system to be checked at no cost. We did. A young guy was sent by Duke Power and decided that all our pipes were disconnected and needed to be changed!!! We contacted Adams. An engeneer came, went into the crawled space, checked every thing. Our system was in perfect shape, nothing needed to be done.We asked how much we owed him: Nothing he said. We have used them since

The technician spend the entire time bad mouthing the other company instead of being helpful. Said he would charge $49 to write up a report of what was needed so they could send a salesman to decide what is needed and then they would send out installers to perform work on the brand new system. Recommended unnecessary equipment be installed as well. This was the worst company I have ever dealt with, clearly not professional or customer friendly. They sent an email stating this information which is all we got for $49.

Adams did an excellent job and the price was fair considering the extent of the work. They delivered on time and did exactly what they quoted. I recommend them highly and would use again.

Came to repair AC and convinced us it needed to be replaced. Installed new unit which never worked well and then stopped cooling completely. Turns out part was installed incorrectly and it was ordered and fixed, all under warranty. All handled with professionalism, but they don't get an A because we had several hot nights with a brand new AC.

They're a trained service and they're considered the Cadillac of Air Conditioning services. I spent about $10000. I had a problem with downstairs not getting enough cooling and they came out and did a lot of work on my ducts. They put in another intake registry. So that's why it was so expensive, they did a lot of work and I was very pleased with it. Their work dropped my heating bill.

The system works beautifully. They cleaned up everything very nicely. They instructed us on how to use the filter.

They were very prompt and able to come out within 24 hours of me calling. One technician showed up and it took about 90 minutes to complete the work. He explained what he was doing as he was doing it and their price was fair.

We were happy with the service and will be using adams again for sure.

In Fort Mill. Called about 5:30pm. Crew on call in Mooresville. Did not expect to see them until following morning. Surprised by servicecall later that evening (8pm?). Performed evaluation and needed to purchase components. Returned the following day and comleted the repair. Furnace fixed!

Overall it was a great experience. The work took two days and there were several workers involved both days. They put down covers to protect my hardwood floors and carpets and cleaned up after themselves. There had been heavy rain in the area before the work was done and the ground they were working on outside was muddy, but they wore protective covers on their shoes whenever they entered the house. The consultant stayed in contact with me throughout the process and addressed my questions in a timely manner. I didn't realize they had installed the wrong type of thermostat until a day or two later and the consultant came back and replaced it with the correct model. My old air conditioning units were about 13 years old and were struggling to keep the house cool. The new units are amazing - the house is constantly at the right the temperature. I also use the timer to let the temperature rise while I'm away and set it to cool about an hour before I get home. With the old unit, it took about 3 hours after I got home to reach the desired temperature. With the new unit, the temperature is perfect when I walk in the door. And the new units are very energy efficient. I had the new units installed at the beginning of summer (June) and in the 4 months since then, my power bill has been a total of $250 less than last year. This is not the first time I have used Adam's -- they replaced an air conditioning unit at a rental property I own a few years ago and did a great job there as well. I will definitely continue to use them in the future.

They were excellent. They were very professional and they did the work on time. Everything was done the way it was supposed to be. They did the work in one day and it looks and works great.

They didn't do the work correctly. They didn't complete the work. They didn't inspect it. It wasn't adequate. It was difficult to even get done what I needed them to do.
