The appointment was scheduled with ease and salesman on time. Product arrived in a timely manner and was installed as scheduled. We would use them again!

We moved into a new home a few months ago and I called several companies for window treatment recommendations and estimates. Joe Walthall with Acadia won our business and my loyalty for future projects. I wasn't up to speed on the latest in blinds and shutters but after consulting with Joe, he recommended 4" plantation shutters because I wanted maximum light. He made additional recommendations based on the style of our home once he arrived on site and took measurements of windows we plan to do in the future. Once the shutters arrived, Jon Dunn came out to install them and in a matter of days. He finished sooner than expected and cleaned up his mess, and left behind a touch up kit. This was thee first time I used Angie's List for recommendations and am very pleased with the outcome. The shutters themselves look better than I expected and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Acadia Shutters.

We purchased (16) plantation shutter panels and (6) blinds from Acadia Shutters, Inc. and had them installed this past Spring. We researched many products on the market, contacted Acadia and were immediately impressed with the quality of the shutters and professionalism of the sales consultant Joe Walthall. Joe is patient, extremely helpful and willing to work with your timetable and budget. From Joe?s skilled measurements to the perfect installation by Jon Dunn, the products were delivered and installed exactly as expected. The shutters are beautiful, high quality wood and the finish is extremely smooth and professionally finished. They operate smoothly, fit perfectly and completely enhance the quality of our home. We have placed a third order with Joe and as in the past, he is extremely responsive and professional. We would highly recommend this company and product to everyone.

Contacted Acadia for a quote for cellular shades. Joe Walthall, who is the local rep came to our place for the estimation. Joe was very knowledgeable about the different products on offer, and helped me make the right choice. He did an excellent job with the measurements and provided a reasonable quote in the next couple of days. We decided to go with Acadia based on the reviews on Angie's List, and we could not have made a better choice. Within a couple of weeks, the shades were ready and Jon Dunn, the local installer called me to schedule a date/time for the install. The install went smoothly and one could see that Jon was a professional at this work. Overall a very pleasant experience with Acadia.

Fantastic experience! I found the vendor in Angie's magazine, called them and they responded immediately. The sales person was prompt and courteous. He reassured me that the advertised cost was real and the price worked for all my windows. I was even more elated with the finished product. The blinds look incredible. I plan to use them for the next set of windows. Great experience and outstanding results.

We were/are very pleased with the quality of the work done and with the product installed. Jon and John were both great to work with. Would highly recommend.

The first time around, the service was great. The sales rep came to our home and measured everything. There was a delay in the blinds being shipped, but other than that, the installer came, and I'd say that we got great service. Unfortunately, we did not receive a similar level of service the second time around. The sales rep has changed, and while he called me back promptly and came out to measure our windows, he did not bring the appropriate catalogs or choices for the blinds upstairs (which we just wanted to be the same as what we have downstairs). He said something about how the selection at Acadia had changed.... Honestly, all of the choices seemed to be of much lower quality than what I remembered seeing a year ago. He said he'd call back to schedule a time to bring out the new catalogs of woven wood blinds, but we never heard back from him. After following up with him twice and leaving messages, I still have not heard back. Based on what I saw, the quality of the product has declined, and it appears that the quality of the service has declined as well.

Went well. There was an issue with Shutters being delivered on time, but Bill quickly took care of the problems and had the deliver and installation done timely. Job well done.

Bill came out to measure and complete an estimate. Acadia had lots of options for hardware for the shutters which made it great to be able to match with the rest of the house. Also, a variety of off white colors for the shutters to match the trim color perfectly. We had to modify the quote several times to be able to get what I wanted for the price I was willing to pay. Scheduled the install for a month after the initial measurement and quote. Brian came out to install everything. He worked by himself and it took him most of the day to install. He came to me anytime there was a difference when installing the shutters. For example, the shutters for the sidelights were longer than the window. He asked me if I wanted the shutter centered to the sidelight or if I wanted it offset. Brian was very efficient and even left a small can of touch up paint. One of the blinds for upstairs was ordered incorrectly so I am waiting for the correct one to be installed. I price shopped for blinds and shutters with 2 other companies. Acadia's blinds were a bit more expensive, but I liked the valance more than what the other companies had to offer. The shutters were the best price around and I am very happy with everything so far. I would definitely recommend Acadia to anyone looking for shutters and blinds.

Bill Mallozzi was prompt with phone calls and appointments. The install was event free and the blinds look fantastic. You cannot beat the product and service for this price.

I would give Acadia Shutters and it's representatives an A+++ rating. Their professionalism and knowledge and the time they took in explaining the different scenarios, shutter types, etc. was very informative. I plan on purchasing the remainder of the shutters for my home from Bill in the very near future. Beginning to end the process was excellent.!!

We had plantation shutters in our prior homes so we were very familiar and particular as to product quality. We were very impressed with their knowledge , professional attitude and the installation. They immediately understood what we wanted to do, and gave us an acceptable price. The shutters look great--like they have always been there.

We had a new home built and we shopped around for price and responsiveness while the home was under construction. I received three quotes and Arcadia was within the price range that we had in mind, although that was not the deciding factor. I felt their professionalism and their willingness to provide the shutters within our time factor, as well as quality, contributed greatly to our decision. I was not disappointed in the product as well as Arcadia,s service. Their installation was a week ahead of schedule and the installer, Joe, was thorough and very neat regarding the installment. I encountered a small problem with the tightness of moving the louvers and, again, the company was very responsive and Joe stopped by and the problem was rectified within 5 minutes. Anyone that has ever built a house knows there are problems associated with new construction, but if you can find a contractor that provides a product and service that you are happy with then it is one less stress associated with that process. Rarely do I give a total recommendation to a provider but I will do so with pleasure. I would definitely use Arcadia, again, and will recommend them! PS: Also waited a decent time frame, for performance of product, to give my recommendation. Very satisfied!

After contacting Acadia through Angie's List, Rob and another sales associate came out to my home to give me a free quote. They did a great job educating me about the company and helping me narrow down what I was looking for, especially with regard to the woven wood shades. They did a great job working with me to find shades that fit my budget and look fantastic. Their pricing is also extremely competitive- take advantage of the plantation shutter sale when it's on! You seriously can't beat that deal. Our installer, Joe, was also a pleasure to work with! Such a nice guy, and really went the extra mile to make sure everything looked satisfactory. One of the shades didn't fit the window quite right at first, and Acadia did a great job getting the replacement to me quickly and replacing the shade with minimal inconvenience to myself and my husband. Overall, I had a great experience with Acadia, and have already recommended them to several friends in the area. If you're looking for quality window treatments and good customer service at reasonable prices, definitely check them out.

They're amazing. We're really happy with the shutter that we have. They provided great customer service. It wasn't only a sale transaction but the person was interested in what our visioning was and not just what they had to offer. The guy came out to our home and he was probably there for an hour doing consultation, free measurements and walk through everything with us. I would recommend them to anybody.

Dudley measured our new home for the installation of faux wood blinds in May 2013. Our deposit was made and we had determined the installation date. The purchase of this new home was canceled due to a builder's issue just 4 days prior to the original closing date. Dudley was very understanding and professional during the cancellation process of this order and the refund of our deposit. It needed to be mentioned, although we never did place another order for new faux wood blinds, Dudley handled this situation so respectfully. At no time did he make us feel guilty for cancelling our order and was understanding. The only reason we did not order again from Acadia Shutters is that our new home already has them in place. I would definitely recommend Acadia in the future.

It was a great experience from start to finish. Pam was very responsive when I called to set a consultation appointment. Came with samples of shutters, paint, etc. Explained everything in detail so I knew everything there was to know about plantation shutters. Answered my questions during and after our consultation. I had four estimates. She gave me the most information in a way I could envision and understand it. Her estimate was also the most reasonable and there were no games. (one was less but it was different type of shutter not as extensive...one was $1000 more to begin with using the same company to make them...went down in price when I said that but I felt they were trying to take advantage and with Pam I did not feel that way...like I said no games) I negociated a slightly lower price but it was a good price to begin with. There were lots of options ot match my paint and I found one that matched perfectly without having to customize it. She said it would take 4 to 6 weeks and it only took four weeks. Joe and his wife came and installed them. They did a great job. Joe even got rid of my existing blinds which would have been a hassle for me. That was going above and beyond. They finished in under five hours, cleaned up..were pleasant to work with. The detail and professionalism was unsurpassed.
