Great job identifying the point of entry and setting the live trap. Caught the squirrel within 2 hours.

Excellent work. Patient work for almost an hour in my crawl space. Tried other companies but their techniques were out of touch or outdated. Glad I finally found A-1. A-1 did a great job and I will definitely call them again. Extremely reasonable pricing too... for an animal that could have done thousands of dollars of damage, I offered to pay more, but the wildlife removal expert insisted that they only get paid the agreed upon rate.

Technician was excellent at trapping and removing animals. I actually had 4 possums and 1 raccoon in my attic at different times! What a nightmare.

Okay. The only problem was that we kept trapping squirrels with additional cost per trapped squirrel. No problem since trapping and closing entry ways.

I called about having a live animal removed from my chimney. Allen was very condenscending on the phone when I did not know immediately if my chimney was pre-fab or brick and mortar. Perhaps I am just very ignorant, but when I asked if there was a way I could tell by looking, he began speaking at length about how that was something I should know and he was happy to come out and charge me $169 whether or not he could fix my problem. I understand the importance of finding out what type of chimney I have for the animal removal. It does not need to be explained multiple times in an increasingly rude tone. I also understand how businesses work and do not mind paying for your time. That does not need to be explained to me. I'm certainly not paying that amount of money, however, to someone who lacks basic customer service, ESPECIALLY if you have 30 years of experience. it took maybe 5 minutes after getting off the phone to reference my home inspection report and find out what type of chimney I have. I already have an appointment with another company for around the same price. I'm seriously confused about why this company has an award for good customer service.

Went well, When we called for service, Phil from Wildlife Control promptly came at the scheduled time. Phil confirmed that we had mice activity in the attic and provided solutions to the problem for us. He also inspected the house to see if there were obvious signs of entry, but since mice can squeeze through about any opening, there were no any obvious spots located. Phil really took his time with us to explain options, and behaviors of mice that we could watch for. He provided a lot of good information we can use and we are very appreciative of his time and effort to ensure he had done everything he could. Very professional and it was appreciated.

The actual work was very well done. However, communication was extremely poor; a project which should have taken 3 weeks, took 3 months. Initial response was great, but after that I had to push to have my house serviced and a subsequent visit to work towards completion took place without my knowledge. For the final clean up, it took 3 months for someone to contact me. I had pretty much given up and forgotten about the job. I was told, "I tried to call you several times, but got no response, so I waited several weeks before trying again." I cannot say for certain that this is true. Often times when I receive a phone from strange numbers, I do not answer. My thinking, if it is important or directed at me, they will leave a message. I did receive one phone message a month into this project, which after a few days I did return (and left a message). Subsequently, if they did call me, they never left a voice message to which I could return. On an early call I was told that they were switching from paper to electronic communication and record keeping, and that has caused a real problem. It is my opinion that a company should be prepared to make internal transitions without effecting their clients.

Everything went very well. They were quick to respond, and every person we dealt with was very professional. Shawn actually did the work for us and he was great!

We hired A1 Wildlife Control to help with a suspected snake seen under/around our house and it turned out to be a complete waste of money. Unless you already have the eyes on the snake when they show up, don't expect much help searching for it. The A1 Technician came to the house and was friendly enough. He walked quickly around the house, shared that the snake can be anywhere, and there's not much for him to help with. For the $150 service fee, i would expect at least a thorough inspection of the crawl space, but he didn't spend more than 3 minutes at the crawl space entrance and said there was no evidence of the snake before finishing the inspection. Outside of the benefit to tell my wife there was no snake found from "the professional's visit", this was a complete waste of money.

I purchased a home and was told at the inspection that there was evidence of animals (probably recent) in my attic. Based on damage to insulation and the findings, it appeared to be a raccoon, possibly squirrels and mice. Based on the reviews on Angie's List, I called A-1 Wildlife and was able to get an appointment very quickly. They were on time, and did an extremely through inspection of the home including the attic and roof. I was very impressed with the attention to detail. I was provided with suggestions to keep new animals out (screen guards), an estimate for animal waste clean-up and solutions to the mice. I was told that there was evidence consistent most likely that a raccoon was living in the attic at some point, but there was no sign that it was recent. I really appreciated the honesty that there was no need for traps/animal removal. He certainly could have charged to leave animal traps so I was impressed he did not think it was necessary. I'm definitely planning on calling them to do the work quoted to keep out new pests. The estimate was very fair ($750).

I wasn't happy with them. There was a raccoon in my attic. They charged me from moving the cage from the attic to the outdoors. I wasn't pleased with them. They charge a lot of money for what they do. I wasn't happy with the additional charge. There was a charge to put the cage in the attic. I didn't know there was an additional charge $20 to remove it out of the attic into the backyard when the animal was already gone. The quality was fine but I wasn't happy with it. They were good about responsiveness. The guy was fine, he was just doing his job. They weren't horrible, but I wasn't happy with them. I would possibly consider using them again in future.

They do it in stages. They set traps, come and take them away and release them in the wild. We only had two. When they set the traps they came down to sign the contract and by that time they had already caught one. The next day we caught the second one. They put a piece of paper there to see if disturbed. After a month it was not disturbed so they can and put some metal flashing around it and you can not tell. They do try to sell you a service plan that is like $2250, I did not go for that. They were very knowledgeable, came on time, and came within an hour and got the second squirrel. They do not hard-sell me on the $2250.

They got in through a gutter. The gentleman that trapped the squirrels was excellent, but the repairs took three months due to delays.

A-1 Wildlife Control did what we absolutely could not. They successfully removed the squirrels that had been plaguing our attic for well over a year. They came out several times to set traps and were always punctual, professional, and friendly. There were several major repairs to be done on the plastic and wood underneath the gutters and close to the overhangs to block areas where the squirrels had bored their way through. These were not cheap, but they were very effective. They seemed to really know what they were doing and were able to remove the squirrels in a very humane way. They also showed the utmost confidence in their work, guaranteeing that no more squirrels would get into our attic for at least 2 years. Well, it has now been over 4 years and we have had no squirrel problems. A-1 was not the cheapest option, but they are the company you want to go with to ensure the job gets done and is done right. I don't expect to have any other squirrel problems in the attic, but if there were any other animal issues at our house I would definitely call them again.

They did an excellent job. That was very recent. I would recommend them. In fact, I recommended them to a neighbor.

Everything was done in a highly professional manner. They arrived promptly after I called and each step of the process was efficient and systematic. I felt the price they charged was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to call A-1 in the future.

So far, so good. Robbie was very thorough and a great educator. He found and removed a bat (ugh). He said that we had a bat, old raccoon nest, and old squirrel activity in the attic space that he determined by : o Size and shape of entry/exit holes near roof o Size, shape and composition of scat o Depth of indentation in our insulation He then wrote up a removal, repair (of holes) and prevention plan with dollar amounts. We agreed to have him put out raccoon and squirrel traps, to repair the holes, and to put screens over the attic vents to prevent any additional bats. So far we haven't caught anything but need to keep them in place for 3 weeks to make sure that no live animals are trapped in the attic before we seal the openings. The woman who answers the phone for the company was also wonderful -- very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST COMPANY FOR ANIMAL CONTROL THAT I MET WITH AND THEY ARE VERY REASONABLE IN PRICING GIVEN THE HIGH QUALITY OF THEIR SERVICES!

We had a wonderful experience with A-1 Wildlife Control, and we will continue to use them in the future should the need arise. When we saw animal droppings in the attic, we called them and got a quick appointment for an inspection and quote (Step 1). Turns out it was a bat or two that had gotten in through gaps in our new siding. Robbie came out and gave us an itemized quote of everything he recommended that needed to be sealed up and removed and even took pictures of the gaps when he was on his ladder so that we could physically see the problem!!! He was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. (Step 2) The next week, Sean/Shawn & Robbie came back and completed the work which included silicone sealings throughout the exterior of the house, rodent guards around the base of the house, and a bat eviction net. Both men worked hard, paid attention to details, cleaned up, and really seemed to enjoy their work. I had both of their cell phone numbers in case of an emergency, and both times, they called to let me know that they were on their way to my house. (Step 3) Sean/Shawn returned after the mandatory 7-10 day period for safe bat eviction, sealed up last hole, and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the inside of my attic. Nothing is getting into my house after the outstanding job these guys did. But just in case, A-1 has a warranty for their services. Thank you!!!

Great, professional service. Not cheap but got out to me quickly and took care of the job quickly. Also cleaned the vent where the birds had been going in (it was a mess), which I wasn't expecting. I will definitely call them again if something happens!

Shawn Came out same day and rid the attic of one of our rental properties of BATS!! Sealed all the openings & Did excellent Job, came back week later cleaned the bat mess up, disinfected the area and all is well. Thanks A_1 and thanks Shawn!!!

We had a pretty good experience. They got the job done.

The work went really well. We haven't had any bat issues since then. Several of my neighbors also used them and I would use them again if necessary.

Everything went very well. The tech was at the host an hour early and inspected the location of the bat and walked all around the house looking for possible openings that the bat could possibly get into.

a bat is hanging out at night. He gave me options for dealing with this and an estimate for further service if needed. I was pleased with my experience with A 1.
