A-1 Wildlife Control

I made an appt with Alan more than a week in advance. The appt was for 7/9/2010 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. At 11:15, no one showed or called. I called and got Alan's voice mail and left a message to call me and let me know if he was running late and what time to expect his arrival. I received no return call that day or to date. He was given both my home phone and cell phone number. There is no excuse for this type of business ethic.

They were able to fit me in quickly into their schedule and were very prompt. Explained everything that would be done and had good customer service.

Overall they were great. They came everytime I called and were punctual and knowledgable. They caught the squirrels; fixed my fascia and were very pleasant and professional to deal with. I certainly will call them again if I have any problems with squirrels on my roof. (Or any unwanted wildlife in my house)

The snake has not come back. I would hire them again.

After the discount it was $255.00, I thought it would be less. The work was good and the people who did it were very good. I would use them again if needed, I don't think there are a lot of places that take care of this type of problem. I didn't have any issues in terms of getting the job done.

They were very good. I've used them twice. I would use them again.

They did not catch the raccoon, but another wild life that comes around at night. I will say that eventually the raccoons went away I did not have anymore problems. I live near the city and a lot of the raccoon?s habitat has been cut down and I saw two the biggest raccoons I have ever seen in my life. They looked like the size of 60 pounds and were on my deck and my neighbors came out and tried to bite them. That?s what caused the ruckus because they fought the dog down and the dog was pretty big, but he ended limping and leaving. Every morning I had to go out and check the trap and I did that morin and there was a vermin there, so I called them and they said that they would come by and pick it up, but they did not. The whole there it was there and then in the night I heard like the biggest fight and was thinking what was going. The raccoons ended up rolling this cage that was marked for them three houses down until they probably got that vermin out and ate it for dinner. They guys came and asked what happened to the cage and I told them I don?t. It cost me about $300 and I think they did what they were supposed to. They trap the animals and have them relocated and they did what they told me what they would do. It was all my neighbors that had problems with raccoons.

He came and did a good job. He was on time, too.

Overall the experience was excellent. They were quick to respond when we first saw the bat, they put up their traps and sealed the gaps the next day, and a week later came back and took down the traps, sealing up those last two gaps where the traps where. We have been bat free ever since.

They came out and gave me a quote for the area I could see and then checked thed house and attic for any other areas they might have been in. I decided to hire them. They came back and set humane traps for the squirrels. Every morning between 7.30 and 9.00 a.m. I had to check the traps and let them know if there were any squirrels in them. Fair enough - but if a squirrel got trapped after 9.00 a.m. then there was a $25 charge to come and remove it - and this was after paying $49 per squirrel removed. If a squirrel got trapped on a Saturday night or Sunday, then it would be Monday moring before they would return. They captured 4 live squirrels and 1 dead one (over the weekend when I was out of town - and after I had the period up to 9.00 a.m. check done). It was distresssing to watch the live ones; I understand the traps need to be placed in an area that you can see in to, but having 4 school bus stops outside of my house and having the traps placed above the front door area was a bit distressing to some of the kids (and me!). After they thought the family of squirrels was gone, they put up paper to see if there were any further tears from animals getting in. Once this was checked and there were no tears, they repaired the damaged areas and put screens up around the vents so that animals could not get back in. They resealed the areas that they had pointed out during the initial inspection.

I was hearing noises coming from my wall, that sounded like mice in the attic. I spoke with Allen Eckman, the owner, on the phone extensively before they came out. He was very friendly, and was openly honest about my options, and the price for all my options (including if I didn't go through his company). I really appreciated that honesty and focus on the customer's needs first. After the initial conversation, I decided to have one of his men come out for an on site inspection, and determination of the source. Shane came out the next day, inspected my attic, determined the source (mice), and provided me with the poison to distribute myself. He was very nice about explaining the application, and made me feel comfortable that I could perform the distribution myself. Shane was very friendly and helpful, as was Allen. Within 2 days, I had my problem solved! Thanks for a great experience!

A few days after this, the representative arrived and was getting out a ladder to put up on the roof. I assume he was going to go ahead with the work, then try to charge us since it would already have been done. I told him to stop and that I had called to cancel. He said, "Oh, that was you?" and rather sheepishly left. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with this seeming try to gouge money.

They were great, punctual and on time. They knew what they were talking about.

The guy who took my call was aggravated about another customer who cancelled an appointment. Not a good first impression. Nevertheless I scheduled an appointment. Tim the technician was polite and thorough. Expertise and workmanship was good. I had to suggest and provide bleach to spray over area where guano was removed; expected them to provide their own. The price seemed somewhat high for the time, materials and expertise.

What a wonderful experience! Danny thoroughly explained the removal process, then set out the traps. We communicated daily, and after two weeks, the squirrel was gone and the attic fortified against future intrusion.

Very prompt at returning phone calls, as I was eager to get the animals out of my chimney. MUCH better than the other companies I had called in returning calls, price, and, most definitely, courtesy. Very professional on the phone, especially compared with the other animal removal companies I had called. Very quick in performing the job and even made a return visit the following day to see if the seventh squirrel was able to be removed.

THEY WERE GREAT! I DID NOT HAVE ANY SQUIRRELS IN MY CHIMNEY AND NOR DID I HAVE A NEST UP THERE, THEY WERE HONEST ENOUGH TO TELL ME THAT. HE MOVED THE CHIMNEY CAP BACK IN PLACE FOR NO SQUIRRES AND TOLD ME THAT THEY I DIDN'T AFTER THE FIRST CHIMNEY COMPANY SAID THAT THEY I DID.

Allen was on time, very informative, and the mice are gone. He sold us a bucket of the pellets for possible future invasions, included in the charge. We thought he was a little expensive, but the mice ARE gone!

THEY WERE REALLY GOOD. THEY ARE AVAILABLE 24/7.

ALLEN ECKMAN GAVE A 2 HOUR WINDOW, AND SHOWED UP RIGHT AT THE END; AND SHOWED UP 15 MINUTES LATE THE FOLLOWING DAY TO CHECK THE TRAP. HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS, SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND WAS HELPFUL WITH SUGGESTIONS AND GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS. PRICE WAS BETTER THAN HIS COMPETITORS. I DO RECOMMEND HIM.

ALAN IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND RELIABLE.

ALLEN WAS WORKING NEXT DOOR AND SAW US IN THE YARD EXPLAINING THAT BATS WERE REMOVED FROM NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE AND WOULD MIGRATE INTO OURS IF WE DIDN'T HAVE SCREENING. I CHECKED RATING WITH ANGIE'S LIST AND PROBABILITY OF INFESTATION WITH ANIMAL CONTROL (NOT IMPOSSIBLE, BUT NOT PROBABLE). DAMAGE & DIRT FROM LADDER WAS REPAIRED (WE PROVIDED PAINT) AND NOT ACCEPTABLE UNTIL I DIRECTED IT. I DID HAVE SOME DIFFICULTY WITH THE COMPANY AT FIRST, BUT IT WAS RECTIFIED AT THE TIME THEY FINISHED THE JOB.

THEY CAME OUT AN HOUR EARLIER THAN PROMISED, SPENT TIME ANSWERING QUESTIONS, AND TOOK THE TIME TO PROPERLY DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE.

PRICING AND PROCESS WERE CLEARLY EXPLAINED. DID GET EXTENSIVE SALES PITCH OF OTHER PROTECTIVE SERVICES.

I THOUGHT IT WAS A BIT EXPENSIVE, BUT NOT AS EXPENSIVE AS THE POTENTIAL WOOD DAMAGE AND DAMAGE TO OUR ATTIC. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND TRIES TO AVOID DESTROYING THE ANIMALS.
