Bill and his crew renovated my entire kitchen, including new cabinets, painting, electrical wiring, plumbing services, and reinstalling a granite counter top. From working with Bill and Christina in the office, to working with Joe and the rest of the crew, I couldn't have asked for more. They were all extremely professional, courteous and pleasant. They all worked together and discussed any problem that came up until a great solution was found. If I had any questions, they were taken care of immediately. Since I basically had no kitchen for a month, it was really nice to have this high caliber group of people to work with. They constantly cleaned up as they were working, and even cleaned my kitchen table and chairs when they were finished. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the end result and would definitely use them again.

Met with Bill a number of times regarding remodeling of my kitchen. One of the most urgent needs were on replacing the cook top, microwave and oven. Although there was not time for a complete remodel, Bill and his team replaced the above appliances including some adjustments needed to cabinets, counter etc. to accommodate them so that I would have everything before the Christmas holiday round of family and baking. Bill, Joe and the team wee professional, cheerful and a delight to work with. I will use them for further jobs and recommend them without question.

I initially contacted Cederberg Kitchen & Additions through their "Free Consultation" online form. I received an immediate computer generated response saying that someone from the company would be in contact with me shortly. After not hearing anything from the company for about a week, I called. No one answered, so I left a message asking to be called back. Eight days after my initial online request, I received an email from the owner asking to set up a time to talk. I also received a voicemail. I was a bit put off by what I considered to be a slow response (a week), but decided to still try to set up a consultation since the company had received fantastic reviews. When I called back to setup a consultation, I was told the owner had already left the office for the day. The woman I spoke with on the phone said I should speak with Mr. Cederberg directly to set up a consultation. I emailed him again, saying that I attempted to reach him, but had been unsuccessful. He promptly replied, apologizing that I had missed him. We then proceeded to set a time for him to call me to discuss the project. (Now over two weeks since my initial consult request.) The time of our scheduled phone appointment came and went. I never received a call nor an email explaining why I never received a call. At this point, I gave up.

Before we worked with Cederberg Kitchens, we had started the design process with another contractor. We were completely dissatisfied and decided to start over with Cederberg. Bill and his staff [principally Christina] clarified the issues for us and made many useful suggestions in terms of layout, form, function, colors etc. For us this was a tremendous help. They were able to see things that just did not creep on to our non-artistic radar. The construction process overall went quite smoothly. Bill's crew was attentive, polite and careful with our home. The major part of the reconstruction lasted about 7 weeks with a couple of weeks at the end to wrap up details and fix all the items on the punch list. Save one small issue, our home was survived the process unscathed. We would whole heartedly recommend Cederberg Kitchens and intend to use them again for other [smaller] projects in our home.

How did it go? It went GREAT. It was a total pleasure working with Bill and his team. They could not have been nicer or friendlier from beginning to end. They were helpful in all respects: on time, responsive, answered all questions/concerns, stayed on task, totally cleaned up each day, and did a careful and thorough job. They definitely know their stuff -- from design and color choices, to practical matters concerning price and placement of things, to all matters concerning plumbing, electric, carpentry. Wow, my bathroom looks awesome. It's a hall bathroom... only 5' x 7'... so it took a great deal of creativity to find ways to make things fit and look great. . They finished in a reasonable amount of time and stayed within the projected budget. Only rated "B" on price because at times I found an item (like a toilet or some tile) on line for less money than they were going to charge for the same item. Still I definitely give Bill Cederberg and his team an overall A+++++ rating!!!! I'd use them again in a minute.

Just an outstanding experience all the way around. We went with Cederberg's knowing that what we wanted would be expensive but we wanted perfection with no hassles or finger-pointing, and that's what we got. We were so pleased working with Bill and with Christina, who did our design with great skill and patience, and understood exactly what we wanted. But that's the fun part. The part you dread is the on-site work where all the unseen problems turn up, the finger pointing starts, and nothing goes quite like it should. Amazingly, however, none of this happened. It was a near-painless process, primarily due to the expertise of project manager Joe Redding who oversaw every detail with an eagle's eye and managed his staff and subcontractors with skill and grace. Everything happened when it was supposed to happen, and when it was finished, it was finished correctly. Having been a hiring manager for many, many years, I can honestly say I never saw a better manager or motivator of people, or anyone with a more ruthless determination to achieve perfection. Huge kudos also to Daryl Tucker who brought a real artist's eye to everything he did. All the Cederberg employees were top-notch professionals, and a joy to have in your home. The subcontractors, too, were mostly outstanding. But there weren't many, because Cederberg's does most of the work themselves, which is what we wanted. We also went with their recommended appliance dealer, Appliances Center of Durham, and we were so pleased we did because they worked so smoothly as a team and we got excellent value for our money. While it is always an inconvenience to have your house torn apart, this was as smooth a process as one could have hoped for. Once the Cederberg team was on site, I can honestly say we never lost a minute's sleep. You could tell straight up that these guys had seen it all and done it all, and that nothing was going to happen that would throw the project into chaos. In the end, we got a kitchen that was just jaw-droppingly beautiful and amazingly functional--and it felt almost like a bargain after seeing all the effort that went into it. It just proves the old adage that you get what you pay for.

They were good. My experience was good.

From start to finish, Cederberg Kitchens and Additions did a great job. My strong suit is NOT interior design or figuring out what color looks best, but Bill and Jennifer held my hand throughout the process and were very, very patient and helpful. i trusted their expertise and everything turned out wonderfully. Joe, who supervises the workers and coordinates the subcontractors, always answered my call if any problem came up. And there weren't many problems because they knew what they were doing. If anything unexpected did come up, he dealt with it. No drama, no excuses, it was dealt with quickly and effectively. The workers were courteous and friendly and tried to stay as neat as is possible when doing that much work. i had the master bathroom updated a few years ago by another business that is no longer around. i wish i would have gone with Cederberg Kitchens. The work went smoothly and they just did a much better job. i am having Cederberg Kitchens update my kitchen, hopefully this fall.

This was the 3rd major project the Cederberg team has done for us. That should say it all! You don't invite a remodeling contractor back for additional jobs if they didn't furnish a quality job at a good value. In this case, Cederberg represented a GREAT value. Plus Bill's crew was responsive, professional, and a delight to have in our home for more than a month.

4 The building of the sunroom went well. We had our kitchen remodeled before this,and I have been in contact with the supervisor several times with complaints about a panel in the kitchen island which started cracking about three years after the installation. The supervisor took pictures to show his boss,and has been here several times,looking at the cracks in the panel. I've never heard from the owner of the business. I have read the warranty of the kitchen cabinets,and this should be under warranty,as this cabinet has had normal use.

We were pleased that he discovered a problem with support beneath our kitchen. We did not expect this but it had to be dome. The work was excellent and we know have a very open kitchen, family room and sun room. WE now have the kitchen we wanted when we built the house over 20 years ago.

Their service price was good. The four men who came and did the work were fantastic. Their punctuality were pretty good for contractors.

During the initial planning phase, Bill and Jennifer were very helpful and responsive. They really listened to what we wanted, made some great suggestions, and kept at it until we were well pleased with the design. During the construction phase, Joe did a super job of keeping all the subs working together. There were a lot of subs and they were all very polite, professional and did fine work. We could not be more pleased with the whole experience, and with the result- a beautiful, functional kitchen.

Bill Cederberg and his team worked with us designing a new configuration of cabinets and hardware, granite countertops, lighting, tile and flooring. Christina did an excellent job in the layout of the kitchen and had many suggestions which made the kitchen especially beautiful. Jennifer was very helpful in helping us select wall tile, floor tile, and those little extras that make a room look special. She is excellent as the office "front person". The office team in general was very responsive, flexible and always available. Joe Redding, the person overall in charge of the job, was remarkable for his flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and for keeping the job moving smoothly and on schedule. Joe's field organization was exceptional in every way. He coordinated the various aspects of the work with a degree of professionalism that was beyond our expectations. He treated us and our home with the utmost respect and made sure his team of skilled tradesmen did the same. Darryl, the day-to-day lead man, came up with suggestions that helped to make the rooms "user friendly". He also ensured that everything was satisfactory on a day-to-day basis. The Jennair range required duct work into the crawlspace and vented to the outside. No problem for this team. The doors to the laundry and pantry were "problematic" for us and the Cederberg team worked together to come up with an aesthetic, cost effective solution. The sub-contractors: cabinet installer, plumber, tiler, electricians, and floor installer were all very professional, responsive, and NEAT. They did an excellent job of keeping dust to a minimum and protecting us and the rest of our house from the construction "debris" that goes with remodeling. Bill Cederberg is easy to work with and very professional in putting together a construction proposal. He is creative and reasonable when finding solutions; he was very patient in working with me on ways to vent our range. This team was so good there was no "punch list", because they had dealt with everything before the job was complete. It was a pleasure to work with them. We would highly recommend Cederberg Kitchens & Additions to anyone.

He was the best construction contractor I have dealt with. There is no competition. His workers were very dependable. They did not cut corners. Whenever a problem came up, it was dealt in the best way and handled. I have felt stressed out in similar projects in the past. However, I felt I could do this project again. I felt all the way through, they were there to complete the best possible job they could. Both the owner and the workers were consistent throughout the project. They also completed the project on schedule.

The service was really good. They gave me real good personal attention.

We contracted Cederberg Kitchen & Additions for a complete kitchen renovation; we did not regret our decision! Bill Cederberg and his crew did a fantastic job and we are very satisfied with the process and the results. Getting started on the big project was a rather intimidating and overwhelming but Bill listened patiently to our wishes and needs and helped us design our dream kitchen within our budget and without stress. Bill’s crew is very skilled and professional and gave us frequent updates on their progress. Overall, the 8 week renovation went quickly and we are 100% satisfied with the result. Mr. Cederberg emailed me promptly and followed up with a phone call the next day. He was very courteous and professiona. Unfortunately, I live too far away from his service area (Chapel Hill versus Cary). So he could not do the work. But he was kind enough to give me ideas not only as to what to do but approximate $ as well. I wish he were in my service area.Highly recommend

The bathroom is long making it difficult to change the layout without major renovation. We started with some ideas about what we wanted but had really not figured out next steps. We knew more about what we did not want then what we wanted. We should have done some more looking at tile and granite options before we started but we were able to pick out our choices pretty quickly. Bill Cederberg was very patient and encouraged us to visit several show rooms to make sure we knew what options were out there both at the low end and the high end. The demolition went very quickly and the team was very good about picking up and cleaning up. The team also called to let me know when they would be coming and rechecked with us about different decisions we made just to make sure we were still comfortable with the original decision. We did tweak a couple of things along the way but for the most part we kept our original decision. Cederberg Kitchens was very easy to work with and the bathroom looks wonderful.

Remodeling an existing kitchen has two phases: 1) the design and 2) the installation. Bill Cederberg, drawing on his years of experience, worked with us from the initial brainstorming and trial layouts through to a finished design, providing suggestions, practical considerations, and computer-generated pictures of what the finished kitchen would look like. It was a great comfort to know what we were getting before construction began! Once the work was underway, we found that the craftsmen working on the project were as competent, careful, and professional as Bill. The workmanship was outstanding, with great attention to detail. No matter how carefully planned a remodeling job is, there are always changes along the way, problems to be overcome, and decisions to be made caused by matters that cannot be foreseen. We were no exception. When questions or difficulties arose, Bill and his crew always consulted us, offering options and advice drawn from years of experience, and being endlessly patient with us. Bill himself stayed on top of the project, always responsive to our questions and concerns. He and his crew strived to deliver a finished project that we would like so much that we would be moved to write a recommendation like this. They were successful and we were so moved! Without reservation, we recommend Cederberg Kitchens to you as your kitchen designer/contractor.

We were extremely pleased with the process from start to finish. With three small children, the thought of living without a kitchen (or any running water on our first floor, for that matter!) for three months was quite daunting. Bill and his team did all they could to help make the process as painless as possible. They helped us move some furniture and appliances to our living room to set up a temporary kitchen, and sealed off the construction site from our living space. While the messy phase of construction was going on, they did a wonderful job of keeping the dust out of our living space. I was in and out with the kids during the daytime while the crew was here, and they were very respectful of us. I felt very comfortable with all of the subcontractors and the crew, which I feel is extremely important when people are going to be in your house every day. The supervisor, Joe, did a great job of keeping me posted on the progress and what was going to be happening next, and in the rare case that there was a minor snag, he told me about it and explained what was being done to solve the problem. We could not be more thrilled with the results. We LOVE our new kitchen. It has completely transformed our home. I kept expecting to find little quirks or oversights, or things I wished we'd done differently, but I can honestly say I've found none. The opposite is true -- I discovered many improvements that I didn't even anticipate. I would highly recommend Cederberg Kitchens to anyone considering a kitchen remodel.

Bill and Christina guided us along the way by making suggestions and providing possible alternatives. The color renderings and drawings that Christina created allowed us to more fully understand and visualize what the finished project would look like. The mantle hood over the cook top was custom designed by Christina. It is gorgeous!! They also suggested relocating the laundry room door which completely redesigned the layout and flow of the kitchen. The original pantry became the fridge's new space and a custom pantry was designed to take the place of the original laundry room opening. This change resulted in a vastly improved flow and increased functional space all within the same space as the original design. The small details such as installing vertical tray dividers, pull out spice drawers and a deep drawer for our bread have made significant differences.Once the plan was set and the materials were ordered we began the preparation phase. Bill suggested using the old cabinets in the garage. This was a great idea that resulted in a massive amount of garage storage that looks great. Once the work began, Joe coordinated the workmen and contractors in what seemed like an orchestrated dance. I would leave in the morning before the crew arrived and would return home after they left. Each day progress was evident. There were never long periods of time when no work was being completed. If there was a delay we were informed and consulted. There was never an unnecessary mess. The crew was clean and respectful of our home. The obvious pride Gi, the carpenter, takes in his work is evident.

The work was done quickly with minimal disruption and mess. The new tile work is excellent. Joey and Derek were pleasant to work with and did an excellent job. Company owner Bill Cederberg was also very easy to work with and very helpful.

Thinking back about the process, Bill Cederberg told us to put a lot of time and thought into the planning and this really pays off. He gave us multiple options, and each time asked us to reflect on what we needed and wanted. It was a good give and take, with a kitchen that feels like our own. Finding the right countertops was the signature piece – they are really stunning. We wanted this to be a learning experience, as we are pretty novice at design. We appreciated allowing us to make decisions and for the gentle guidance Bill gave along the way, while still listening to us, and trying to match our taste and our house...hard to do with two people. The backsplash is a great example. I think of all the ways we almost went wrong, but am very happy with the final result. Finally, and perhaps most important, Cederberg’s crew is great to work with. Joe is a good communicator, and a really good organizer. He used time efficiently and kept me in the loop all the way. He made sure it was all done right. Mr. “G” – the master carpenter - is a lot of fun to have around not to mention being an incredible gifted craftsman! I love the touches he figured out - like the corner column and trim - it is beautiful. I know the wood paneling was a pain, but they did a great job of making it look lovely again. Mario did a great job with the painting!
