Friendly and easy to schedule. They replaced a pressure switch in my furnace and showed me the problem with the broken part when the service was done. Trustworthy and professional. The whole job took about an hour (including picking up the replacement part.) I've used them before for major work (heat exchanger replacement) and their prices are good. I highly recommend them - they've saved me thousands of dollars.

They do all our appliances and plumbing work as well. They do show up when they say they're gonna show up. Their guys are all well-trained and tidy and polite and very good. I've been using them for again - fifteen, twenty years - maybe longer. They have fixed about everything here, from sinks to spigots to dishwashers, washers, dryers; any kind of appliance. It's hard to say that far back, but it was leaking and I think they did a gasket and some kind of valve or something. They were very conscientious about keeping the area clean.

I appreciated the fact that he tried and cheap, simple fix at the same time he ordered the part he thought I probably needed. If the quick fix had worked I wouldn't have needed the expensive part.

I recently had to get my mothers dryer repaired. We had a terminally ill, bed ridden patient at the house and the dryer went out with bed linens and laundry piling up. It was under contract with the manufacturer but, their service representatives wouldn't come for at least 3-4 weeks (totally worthless contract.) BMS was wonderful they were kind enough to work us into their schedule that day and did a great job. Paul C. arrived and had the problem (some burnt up wiring) repaired promptly He was a very nice and very professional. I would definitely recommend this company and we will be using them for any future needs.

Fine. The company was able to clean out the drain with chemicals -- much cheaper than using a snake.

There was snow and ice the weekend our HVAC failed and Bud Matthews was the ONLY company that would come to our house that weekend. The were very professional, prompt, and did their best to fix the problem quickly. They didn't have the correct part the first day, but fixed it enough so that we had partial heat through the night. This was appreciated since the temps were in the single digits. The cost was very reasonable as well.

The service tech was very unprofessional, he made very inappropriate comments to my wife. She asked him to leave, but he refused until she signed his service call sheet. He did no work, did not even provide an invoice to repair sink. My wife felt unsafe with him in our home. We were asked to pay $75 for the service call. When we refused Mr. Bud Matthews placed a claim on our Credit Report. We were forced to pay to clear this item.

Cost was reasonable. Service prompt and professional.

Their rep came out as per appointment and diagnosed problem, as well as cleaning out dryer duct, then returned during another set appointment and replaced the part, with recommendations on how to not have it happen again!

Dishwasher is no longer leaking from drain pump--repairman was professional and informative.

It went great! Noah in the office was wonderful to work with. The two carpenters were very professional, punctual and did great work. The price was also reasonable for the time they spent. I would highly recommend them.

Work was done in a minute. Fuse cost me $28.......the labor and trip charge....over 6 times the cost of the fuse. I do, however, believe this is the norm.

It was an excellent experience from the moment I called to the moment Luis told me my fridge was repaired. Which was only 3 hours. They truly went above and beyond and their cost was very reasonable.

The usual great guy came out and took care of our refrigerator problem. He's been out before and worked on our Maytag range. I have no problem with him. He knows large appliances, and finds the problem. Having had this positive experience, I called for them to repair some exterior rotten wood and a rotted threshold on our side door. The work was done well and the guys who came out were great. BUT, and this is where it all falls apart, the bill was absolutely ridiculous. They charged us for about twice the number of hours they actually worked, and had very high 'transportation' charges. I was shocked. After my husband called to check on this, and after MUCH discussion, they said they would give us a 10 per cent discount. He then talked to Bud Matthews who told my husband that they charged twice because there were two workers that came out? Doesn't make sense. He was very rude, and said we could pay over three months, but that he wouldn't give us the discount. So we're stuck paying an inflated, incorrect amount, in full. Won't be using them again.

The quality of their service was very good, as was the overall experience until I saw the bill. Didn't mind the labor, but $138 for the parts was way over the top - a single pipe and a $15 toilet kit, really? Adding $76 to drive over was also overpriced since they charged me $150 for the labor and it took < an hour. Too bad, but I'll probably use Roto Rooter the next time. I like to support local businesses, but can't afford to at these prices.

Except for the large cost growth over the estimate, would have rated an A!! Will never again have work performed on a time and material basis. Actual work was done on time and was quality work for the most part. Overall schedule start to finish about 4 weeks. most of the 4 weeks something was going on. Lead man on the actual job excellent! Was able to salvage a large mirror from demo wall and reinstall on new wall... . !! Showed up on time , and cleaned up each day . Minimum intrusion . HVAC was done in timely manner, made some minor plumbing mod to allow drop ceiling to better fit the room. HVAC in new room accomplished in professional , timely manner. Painting was done in one day, drop ceiling went without a hitch, permits were signed off without any corrections. Had an issue with the electrical. Result was not acceptable initially as turning on new lights caused old lighting to trip breaker. This was remedied after another 3 to 4 hours on call back on a separate day. Final Result now is fine. But this return call was on my dime as I later found out when I thought it should not have been. Did not complete expected chair rail install or painting of ceiling tiles to match existing room as expected. Not a show stopper, but the estimate did say install "TRIM" which I expected to include the chair rail. Estimate included "paint" and of course the ceiling is part of the new room. Original estimate $13,900. An ESTIMATE sets an expectation for what the actual cost will be. in our case, this did not happen. All told, I end up paying a significant increase when final bill tallies up; contractor attributes over $2000 as increase cost in project add on items that I do not agree with and that should have been part of the job. Final cost ended up at close to 35% higher than estimate. Room looks great. Shame on me for accepting a time and materials contract. Never again.
