Description of Work: This coupon was supposed to be for a call to diagnose an electrical problem and be good for any future electrical work. It did not specify that it had to be a particular kind of work. When the woman who had answered two e-mails and said she would have to have her husband call me, I planned to tell him I knew I needed two new smoke detectors installed and wanted to see about getting ones that also monitored carbon monoxide. When he finally called, he had the nerve to tell me the coupon was only good for changing batteries in an existing smoke alarm, I told him anyone could change batteries in two smoke alarms! I asked if there were houses that had so many smoke alarms they needed an electrician just to change the batteries, he said that very large houses had too many for the owner to change, and that he could not help me. I think this is a case of a greedy electrician only wanting to do a LARGE job that would cost a lot more than the coupon value, and my job was just "too small" for him. He truly lied about what this coupon covered and I guess just thought I was too dumb to realize it. The date of service listed is the date that he called me, as he provided no service.

Description of Work: Told him that the outlet was giving us problems. Granted it had tripped and I acknolodged that. He said it only needed to be reset and I tried to tell him that it still needed to be switched out but he did not so I paid all that money for him to push a button.

Description of Work: I had hoped he would come look at my bathroom exhaust fan and be able to give me an estimate on replacing them with new or ones. However apparently this isn't a standard thing to do. One must take out the old fan and rummage around in the ceiling in order to tell how difficult it will be to replace. So instead I just had him install a light fixture, which he was willing to do. The service didn't strike me as either really good or really bad. He did seem competent, just not very enthusiastic.

Description of Work: The installation itself was quick. There were a few miscommunications in confirming the appointment through use of the Angie's List messaging system, but overall I would recommend the service and plan to use again for another fan installation.

Description of Work: This company agreed to schedule services but never showed up. When I tried to contact them there was no reply by phone or email. I was extremely disappointed.

Description of Work: I purchased this deal and saw after the payment went through that the provider required a week until he was expected to contact me. I filled out the contact form and sent it back. The week came and went . I called them I left messages no response what so ever. I want my money refunded. I hired another electrician.

Description of Work: Leslie and his wife Suzanne were exceptionally nice. They were able to work us in prior to the July 4 holiday. I received a courtesy call when he was on the way and he arrived on time. Leslie installed 4 ceiling fans in under 2 hours. They are beautiful and work great. We plan on using BNA again in near future for a motion detector in my mom's bathroom and more ceiling fans. I am a very happy customer!
