I had Mr. Busing come by originally to fix a light switch and fix a bathroom fan. Somehow the fan started working the morning of his arrival. He still checked some possible causes and gave a very detailed explanation of some reasons it may have been defective. While there he was able to fix the other light very quickly. Overall the experience went well.

Highly professional service. We had one minor misunderstanding about the configuration of the closet where the outlet was to be installed that meant he didn't have all the parts needed the first time he came. He returned the following morning and was done with the work quickly. Despite two trips, he only charged us for a single service call. It was clear he knew his business and took great care with the work. We would certainly use them again for any electrical needs.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They charged an extra $75 when the work was done. They were nice. He did a good job and he seemed conscientious. I don't know if it could have been done less expensively but he needed a very long ladder to install the light. I would get another estimate from them in the future.

The repair was done at our rental unit and I was not present . He identified the problem and repaired it successfully and the repair cost was covered by the very reasonable Angies List Coupon for $69. I was disappointed that he did not check the ceiling fan but they offered to go back and check it...so, I purchased a replacement fan in case it was needed...and it was, and he installed the new fan for a very reasonable add on charge without a trip fee. I would definitely use them again. The average rating for "responsiveness" was because communications were not great and I did have to follow up to find out about the work that was done etc etc...
Description of Work: Identified the electrical problem in a light switch which had caused all outlets and lights on that circuit to go off. Repaired the problem and all was well. He was also supposed to check a faulty ceiling fan to see if it was repairable but he did not check this.

BNA Enterprises did a great job. There was no problem with either service--both the ceiling fan and the light were installed quickly and correctly.
Description of Work: BNA Enterprises came out twice to my house. The first time he took down an old ceiling fan and replaced it with a new ceiling fan. The second time he took down an old hanging light fixture and replaced it with a new hanging light fixture. The first visit was $69.00 and the second visit was $70.00

I wasn't really impressed with the service. The gentleman was responsive and timely, but he wasn't able to do any of the work when he came out to the house and wasn't properly equipped for all the jobs. I found this surprising since I emailed him a list of the tasks that I wanted him to do prior to his arrival. What's more is he wouldn't do any of the smaller tasks that he was equipped to complete. Ultimately, the deal didn't live up to my expectations.
Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for him to work on a range hood, fix some lights and electrical outlets, and address power issues in some outbuildings.

It turned out very well. I was very pleased with everything. He was very efficient and did everything that he needed to do. He got the entire job done in 2 days total because I wanted him to come back and do additional work for me. The first time he was only here for about an hour. The electrician was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and did everything that I asked him. He is going to be my electrician from now on.
Description of Work: It was a Big Deal for $69 for an Electrical Service Call + 1 Hour of Labor. He fixed a light in the guest bathroom. He also repaired an electrical issue with my dishwasher. He also installed new lighting in a room upstairs, changed out a light downstairs, and also changed out a light in my studio room and the kitchen.

It was very good. They were great and easy to work with. He was pretty quick to respond to my inquiry.
Description of Work: I used the "Big Deal" that I purchased for the services of BNA Enterprises. I hired them to come in and changed the electrical from a range hood to a microwave outlet. I asked them to put it into an outlet for microwave. He initially said that, he might have to do some other wiring, put some circuiting that might be pretty expensive but he came and determined that it was already set up that he just needed to put in the outlet, so the price of the coupon was covered.

The work was to be done on a rental property. I asked the service provider to contact the tenant to schedule an appointment and the provider promptly responded. Work was scheduled for 12 Feb. The tenant called 48 hours in advance to cancel and mentioned she would call back to reschedule. Well, on 12 Feb, our area experienced an unusual amount of snowfall that essentially put the area in lockdown mode - everything shut down. As a result, my tenant's cancellation had no impact on "lost" business to the provider. Thereafter, my tenant made numerous attempts to reach the provider and each attempt was unsuccessful. I then tried to call the provider on Thursday and Friday (20 - 21 Feb) and received no response as well. Finally, through Angieslist email, the service provider and I exchanged several emails. I mentioned how my tenant and I were trying to reach the provider to schedule an appointment and I asked the provider to reach back out to the tenant. A few more days go by and still, no attempt by the provider to contact the tenant. Once I was able to communicate with the provider, the provider said after two cancellations, they did not want to risk a third. I offered to meet them out at the property and as of today, I still have not heard back. They do have many positive reviews and after the email exchange, it appears they believe one poor review will not tarnish their reputation so the provider is willing to treat us in this manner. The provider admitted to having only one receptionist to answer calls and they have fell far behind due to the inclement weather. My perception is they do not want to stand behind their "great deal" because if they did, they would have allowed me to meet them at the property. From a customer service perspective, the whole experience was poor - lack of communication and an unwillingness to stand by their offer. They basically said, we are not coming out and here's your money back.

Let me explain the situation in its entirety. Yes, the customer did purchase this service for his rental property. We contacted the tenant and she was out of town so could not schedule the appt. She said she would call when back in town. She did call and we set up an appt. On the day of service, she called to cancel the appointment. I asked her if she wanted to resched and she said she would call back. She did call back and we scheduled another appointment. AGAIN, on the day of service, she called to cancel. After this second cancellation, we did reach out to the homeowner and explained our position. We are a very small company and are very tightly booked. When someone cancels twice, that is 2 customers that we could have serviced, but essentially "wasted" the slot. While we do understand that emergencies, etc arise, 2 cancellations on the day of service are a bit much. We did offer to meet the homeowner at a day/time that would work for him, but HE INSISTED we schedule with the tenant. It was explained that we didn't think it would work out at this point and suggested he go with another provider. We told him AL would gladly issue a refund and he would be out nothing. At that time, he accused us of not "standing behind" our big deal offer, and said that we were too busy to honor this service. We are busy, however we ALWAYS make our appointments and we honor every coupon purchased. We would not have been successful for 18 years if this was not our practice. The homeowner only agreed to meet us AFTER the refund process had been started. If he would have agreed to meet us (as it was requested before), then we would have made the appointment with him and there would not have been an issue. We offer this coupon at approx. 1/2 of our hourly rate... it simply does not make business sense to risk losing yet another hour (for a total of 3 hours) on a third appointment. We are very sorry we couldn't work with you, and apologize that you don't understand our rationale. Hopefully you will find a provider who will be able to work with a changing schedule.

He asked questions about what happened. Then he checked necessary equipment,outlet,etc. Then fixed issue. He showed me that this old house has breakers and fuses, He tested the dryer and heat came out. He was pleasant and professional. The handwritten thank you note was very nice to receive. I'm old school=yes thank you, no thank you, please, etc...manners...they take you anywhere you need to go! It was a pleasant experience.

I purchased an Angie's List coupon ($69 for an Electrical Service Call + 1 Hour of Labor) and so my initial contact with the company and appointment set up was all through Angie's List messaging. I was contacted promptly the next day and the interactions with Suzanne were fantastic. I knew immediately that I was going to be happy and comfortable with this company. I described what I thought the issue might be (I was wrong) and was assured that i had described appropriately. I had an appointment within a few days and was pleased that there was a 7am slot which met my need to miss a minimal amount of work. Leslie called to say he was on his way and was prompt. He was so professional and had a quiet way about him that put me at ease. He pursued my thoughts on the issue (breaker problem) before investigating other avenues and discovering that it was a problem with the outlets themselves. Luckily it was a quick fix. He explained everything in a way that I understood and was so pleasant to deal with. He even had to remind me that I had already paid for the service through Angie's List! I have since passed along their names to others as I had such a great experience. Although a fair/reasonable price is important to me, customer service is the most important to me and this company's was tops.

He was on time as stated. I was a PM in commercial construction for 38 years, this VERY Professional electrician went above and beyond expectations. Fixed a damaged floodlight assembly adding a new detector, He aimed the lights perfectly (during the day) he had all needed equipment and tools, completed the third flood lamp with an added switch (I didn't think about) cleaned up, was fast and extremely polite. IT IS SUCH A REASSURANCE THERE ARE TRUE PROFESSIONALS STILL OUT THERE, NOT JUST KNOWING WHAT HE WAS DOING BUT, COMMUNICATED WELL AND VERY POLITE, GAVE A SUPER REASONABLE COST FOR MY REQUESTED EXTRAS

The work went really well and I was really happy with them. I ended up paying a little more for the parts but it was outside of their service. They contacted me within the three day window that Angie’s List says that they are supposed to do with a Big Deal. They were actually the first people to do that. They contacted me on time and called ahead of time to ask what I wanted them to do. They made me describe my breakup box. I sent them a picture so that they could have the right part when they came which was really nice; It saved sometime for both of us. They explained what needed to be done. They were friendly and professional. They got it all done but did end up not having a part but for an entirely different reason. There were many of them that were broken that they had bought so they ended up coming in the next day for which they did not charge me anything extra and got it all done. Their price would have been quite a bit more if it weren’t for the Big Deal especially for getting in an electrician for an hour.

The scheduling was easy and he & his wife were nice. We talked about what I’d supposed to purchase from the hardware store. I was surprised that I had to purchase the supplies. He came back 2 days later and he said I hadn’t purchased the right things. I offered to get the right items, but he said he would make it work. That makes me a little nervous. However, the lights were installed in a basement and work fine.
