On Tops Roofing was recommended to me by a friend who had his roof done last year after the tornado ripped a hole in it. I called several companies to get quotes and On Tops Roofing came in below the other offers. I would have even chosen them if they had matched or came in over the other companies due to the fact that my friend was really satisfied with their work. They also give a great warranty on the roof, which is transferable in case we sell our home. I worked with Chris Talton. He came over to give us their quote and talk about the options we had when it came to quality and color of shingles. The only thing that struck me as odd was that they told my friend an energy star qualified roof would save them lots of money on their air conditioning bill, but told me that there was no significant difference when I asked. Chris said that with good ventilation any roof would do the same job keeping the attic cool in summer. He also suggested certain colors of shingles that would blend in with the other roofs in the neighbourhood. When I called to give them the job, they gave me an appointment a week after, which I thought was great! They removed the old shingles, underlayment, the old fan and two skylights. They replaced rotten plywood and reroofed house and carport. They installed new ventialtion to the house and the carport and two new skylights. They arrived on time, started work at around 7:45 a.m. and were done with everything cleaned up at around 4:00 p.m. The container with the old shingles was picked up the following day and two days after the job was done Chris came over for the final inspection and make sure all debris and nails were cleaned up (which is especially important for us, because we have two small children who love to roam around the yard). They did not ask for any downpayment. We paid the bill when Chris came to make sure we were completely satisfied with their work. He also told us that we can call them any time we feel there is something wrong with the roof. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. The whole process was very smooth and everyone I dealt with was polite and professional. Thank you to On Tops Roofing for making this a positive experience.

Arrived on time with a 13 man crew. Job was completed in about 7 hours.

They did it fast and cleaned up after themselves. They did excellent work.

I was impressed with how professional they were. They came by an gave me an estimate. Once we decided to use them they scheduled us for a day about 2 weeks later and showed up when they were supposed to. They did the entire roof in a day, cleaned up well and did not damage plants. I would definitely hire them again based on my experience.

Overall good experience, Chris Talton quoted the job in June, and was called back in November, was able to fit us in the next week in the schedule. The crew showed up on time, completed the job in one day, and the dumpster was removed the following day. Clean up was pretty good, we did find nails after the installation, but picked them up ourselves. Least impressed with the soffet venting that was installed, several less were installed than we expected, and that job seemed a bit hastily done, but roofing job was excellent.

I recently noticed some of my roof tiles/flashing were coming loose next to my hot water heater vent on the peak of my roof. I asked a friend of mine, who deals with all kinds of construction companies, for a suggestion and he told me call about On Tops. I looked on Angies List and as I hoped, On Tops was listed and had very good reviews. I called the office, left a message and that same day the office returned my call. The next day I recieved a call from Chris Talton and he had one of his guys in the area, so he said his guy could come over and give me an estimate, or fix the problem at that time. Aurtoro came within the hour, went on the roof to determine the extent of the work. Chris called me before the work was started and gave me a price that was very reasonable. Aurtoro completed the job in an hour or so. I would highly recommend On Tops Roofing and I will certainly use their services again should the occasion arise. Very satisfied customer!!!!!

We delt with Jonathan from On Top and couldn't be happier. They rang the door bell at exactly 7:30 and were done by 5. My roof was no small project so when they said 1 day I never thought they would get it completed....but they did. They cleaned the area so that you souldn't know anyone was ever there....Overall excellent job!

They first came and gave me an estimate and after two days there was a guy on my roof doing the work. We called them thinking that there was probably a small leak and the guy apparently replaced rotten shingles and wood. The price was great. We called them in the morning and they were here in the afternoon to give me an estimate. They gave me an estimate in 15 minutes and were thorough.

The work was completed quickly and on time. The area was cleaned up with little trace that they had been there. The primary repair was with the attic ventilation system, which had been damaged and was replaced with a better system. Some shingles were replaced as well. The final bill was less than the estimate. I would recommend their work.

Based on other positive reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Chris and asked if he would come out and see if he could determine why/where the roof was leaking on my house. He promptly came to the house and quickly identified a flaw in the way the roof was put down by the previous owner. He gave me a fair estimate and I asked him to have the work done as soon as possible. Within 3-4 days, they were on-site, ripping up shingles and installing a water-proof membrane over a almost-flat area of the roof. I came out to the site, and both Chris and Arturro were very patient and thorough in explaining to me the root cause of the problem. The job was done in about a half-day, and even though we've had some heavy rain since the repair, I've noticed no more leaks. I'll definitely invite On Tops Roofing to bid on any future roofing work I have done.

Things turned out quick well; they did a very nice job. They cleaned up afterwards and they were on top of things in terms of giving me a bid according to what I was after. They came and did the job in one afternoon then they were out. They were a little bit higher in price than the lowest but they were a lot lower than the highest; for what they did, the price was right on.

Best of three bids. Very efficient crew. Some damage to yard plants is inevitable, but homeowner can help minimize by being on site and make sure the protection (tarps, etc.) is adequate, and actually providing protecting. They were happy to re-adjust a few things for me when I called it to their attention. A few nails found in the yard after the job, but NONE even close to the driveway. No issues with car tires! On Tops actually put up some sample shingles a week before the job--really helped us decide on the shingle color. We found it very difficult to choose a color based on the sample boards or by looking at other houses.

They are a locally owned company, which is important to us. Their prices were competitive. I think they did a good job. There is a vent cap that goes on the tip top of the roof. It is ordered separately than the shingles. They were timely, did the job well and they cleaned up well. But my husband was just recently on the roof and noticed the vent cap was different than the rest of the roof. It did not match the shingles. They said the wrong one came in, the knew it was wrong and installed it anyway. I guess they figured we would have never known. That was a little off-putting. I understand you can make mistakes. But they knew it was not right and they should have said something, said they would order the right cap and finish the job on another day, and that would have been fine. I am sure the roofers just wanted it done and not have to come back. I guess I understand why they did it but it just kinda slipped through the cracks. We did not have them cover our porches because we are going to do some renovations. When we need to put a new roof on that part, I am not sure we would hire them back. Once we told the office staff what happened they came back and fixed the cap. They had no idea that had happened,. On someone's part it was a deliberate decision to not fulfill the contract on that part. It was lazy or whatever. They lived up to every other part of the contract. But it boils down to us not trusting the service provider to treat us the way we would expect to be treated.

I can't remember exactly the cost right now... (I'm at work). Everyone was wonderful, courteous, kind, professional. I'm very pleased with the work.

On Tops arrived on schedule in the morning, efficiently removed old roof and carted the debris away. The new roof and skylights were installed in the afternoon. Mr. Talton was at the job site in the afternoon to ensure all was going well. The roof was completed that afternoon to my satisfaction. On Tops provides a 15 year OTR labor warranty. When we recieved a drenching downpour about a month after the job was complete a small drip was noticed around one of the skylights. On Tops quickly came out to repair it. I recommend On Tops for your roofing needs.

They came, they roofed, and they cleaned up as descibed. The crew was fast and picked everything up except for one roofing nail. I will use them again for other jobs.

We got four quotes and they were right in the middle. They were the most responsive and we were very pleased with the main contact, Chris. We had our existing roof removed and a new roof (with 30yr shingle) installed. They were able to complete the job in one day as promised. Everything was organized and went very well.

We had a very good experience with this company. Their representative, Chris Talton, was the most responsive of anyone we contacted. From the first call, he went out of his way to make sure we had the information we asked for, was on time for all appointments, provided samples, recommendations, and local examples of their work. The estimate was not the cheapest we got, but it was nowhere near the highest. The job was completed within a day, cleanup was better than expected and the roof looks great. A skylight was also replaced. Chris and On Tops have earned my business and recommendation to others.

They worked quickly and efficiently. It only took them 3 days to do an extremely large roof with a lot of different roof lines, skylights, and vents. After they cleaned up you could hardly tell that they had been here. They had someone on the ground as the supervisor to watch the job and workers the whole time and he kept me informed every step of the way, telling me what they were doing and why. The owner stopped out during the job to check in and make sure I was satisfied with how everything was going. He also worked very well with another contractor who was doing other work on my house at the same time.
