Lawn & Order Landscaping

Lawn and Order has been doing lawn care for me for several years and my lawn has never looked better. All interactions have been clear and they have been responsive for any questions. The one problem (a garden hose got run over by a mower) was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. I have paid them an average of $188/month over the past year. I think their prices are a little on the high side but I have not actually done any comparisons with other companies since I have been quite satisfied with their service. I would and have recommended them to friends.

They put a nice small stake/sign in the ground when treatment applied. They send billing email immediately after service performed.

They are very punctual and on time. They always call me (because I have a dog) to put my dog in. Little things like that. That's good service.

Both times Lawn and Order came out to do work they were prompt, courteous, thorough and did a great job.

We were beyond happy with the service provided by Lawn & Order and would use them again anytime. In fact, since the following job finished, we have recently had them back to discuss tree plantings for this fall. The owner Joe came out to walk the yard with me before he scheduled the job, to better understand what we needed done. He had suggestions when I sought them as to how to deal with various landscaping problems. He is very knowledgeable about landscaping for this area. The crew he sent spent 3 days at our home and did a wonderful, thorough job. They were quickly adaptable the two times I asked them to take out an additional small tree or bush that they had thought we wanted to keep. They were courteous and pleasant to talk to. Lawn & Order bills by the job, with the cost estimate broken down for each separate part of the work. I can't overestimate how massive our job was. They took out three full dump-trucks full of tree limbs and pruned material and did a fair amount of tree limb removal. Here is the cost estimate (and the final bill was exactly this amount): *Pruning of trees, bushes & removal of unwanted vegetation - 2500 *Debris removal / dump fees – 400 *Install pinestraw in front areas – 490 *Install shredded mulch in back around playset – 295 Project Total: 3,685 We are thrilled with how the yard looks. These folks are top notch.

They did an excellent job on all the services they provided. The yard looked great, although they told me it would take a while to get it back to top shape. There was a major improvement immediately. The mulch really made the other areas look 100% better. They did everything I asked, and were very professional in their work. The men were very pleasant and good to work with, had good attitudes. I would recommend them highly to anyone needing landscaping services.

We have been working with Lawn and Order since September 2015 and have received great service on a consistent basis. For our additional needs or services they are very responsive and always concerned that the end product is as expected.

Of the three companies I interviewed, when I talked to Joe Bailey, the owner of Lawn and Order, I was impressed immediately. He knew exactly what was needed to get my lawn back in shape; he explained the problems; he made excellent recommendations, and had all the information I needed there with him. He was even able to give me a quote for services right then. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I hired Lawn and Order immediately. They started to work on my lawn in January and it already looks 75% better than it did before. I have been so pleased with the work already done -- the weeds are gone; the mulch looks great, so neat, and no mess..! When they trimmed my shrubs and bushes, they cleaned up so well -- no mess in the beds! I'm extremely happy with the work they're doing and I intend to have them around for a long time..!

I would never use anyone else. The crew are all courteous, efficient, and hard-working. The landscaping and complex erosion control work they did for us was top notch. Even when they encountered unexpected problems with the job they worked tirelessly to find a solution. Their prices are always fair and there are never "surprise" charges.

Joe and his crew have always been approachable and easy to work with. I replaced the prior lawn service because after a few years, they were being less and less responsive. Joe is easy to work with, and seems to want to get it right every time. We discussed the type of mulch to be used (regular triple-shred or stained), the type of replacement plants (gave me a catalog, made suggestions about my choices, suggested others when my choices were unavailable), and got the work done on the days he said he would. His crew tied in the existing irrigation system to the new plants, and did a nice job cleaning up the area around a drain in the back yard to unearth some of the rocks that lined the drainage area that had been covered by sediment over the years. So all in all, I've been very happy with Lawn & Order. I'd certainly recommend them to others.

Great, timely, professional

Lawn&Order did a great job. they showed up on the day they were scheduled. I talked to the lead guy who gave me some good advice on weed control and while we were talking his guys were setting up and getting teh work done - they even pulled some weeds which was not at all part of their job. The new grass is growing!

I purchased an Angie's List deal from this provider, and received a message back from provider regarding approximate dates for the service. About a week before the provider came, they sent another message narrowing the date, and asked for the yard to be prepared (grass cut, sprinklers marked, etc). The provider came within the window they indicated and went over the entire yard. They left some extra seed in case of spots where the grass may not germinate, and also some care instructions. I walked over the yard and confirmed they hit everywhere (Aeration and seeds). I am very pleased.

Spencer and his crew were on time and did a great job. I got some great advice on future treatments... They left me some extra seed and watering instructions. I would use them again.

Lawn and Order Landscaping was one of 2 estimates. I had explained that I also wanted to included part of our neighbors lawn in the estimate. Joe met with me at the house; the other lawn service left me an estimate on the front door and only for our yard. I appreciate the his service is primarily maintenance-based and one time services are time consuming for them, but I appreciated him and his crew aerating and seeding the lawn. The yard looks so much better with more grass than moss. Our neighbors we delighted to have grass in their lawn as well. Thank you, Joe and crew.

Such a waste. After working with Joe to get an estimate and plan for our lawn, he completely fell off the grid and didn't come when he was scheduled. We had explicitly asked him to let us know before he came so that we would know to keep our dog off the grass. When I contacted him to see what happened (a week after he was supposed to be there), he unapologetically said that his truck broke down - these things happen, and it would be a couple of weeks before he could do it. We spent the next week trying to find another service because we had no interest with dealing with this in the future. Imagine my surprise when I'm walking my dog one morning and see some teenager liberally spraying weed killer all over my lawn. No warning, no notice except up by the mailbox. After contacting Joe he didn't seem to have any problem with the way that things happened. I know for a fact that the kid was on our property for less than 10 minutes. Terrible response time and unprofessional - we won't be working with them in the future.

Overall they gave good service. I did feel that he could have been more thorough.

We purchased a coupon for this service from Angie's List. The regular price for aeration seeding was $279 and we could get it for $230 with the coupon. In less than 8 hours after our purchase, the owner had already contacted us by email to confirm our service for the next day. We were pleased. The crew arrived precisely when they were expected. In all the years we have purchased aeration and seeding, I think they were by far the most thorough. I'm pretty sure they left our yard and driveway cleaner than they found it. They went over the grass several times, carefully inspecting bare places and spots where additional care was needed. Then they seeded and fertilized. Most companies are in and out in less than 20 minutes, but these guys took their time to make sure it was done thoroughly. They also got out their blowers and cleaned off our driveway, rear walkway, and the curb out by the street (so there was no mess from the yard plugs or seed). And they left a small bag of extra seed and care instructions in our mailbox. Highly recommend them.

All of this work would have taken us weeks to do on our own and many back-breaking hours of moving yard debris. I was skeptical of the price Joe was charging until I saw everything they did, and now I think it was a reasonable price for a great job. After seeing the quality of work they did I contracted him to continue with a mowing schedule and return later in August to distribute mulch around the house.

Called about some bush/shrub removal. Spoke with a wonderful employee named Joe who informed me that unfortunately my house lies outside their service area. However, Joe was more than willing to give me a rough estimate for the services I wanted, provide a few pointers and tips, and was completely courteous and polite even though he knew Lawn & Order couldn't help me out. If customer care is a big thing for you, and you're in their service area, I think it's worth giving these guys a try.

I have a very busy schedule and travel quite a bit as well. Joe was able to give me a quote for the work and perform the services and I haven't ever seen/met him in person! I explained exactly what I needed done, and he came out and was able to complete the work and everything looks amazing. He also gave me a quote for future work (fertilizer program/aerate/overseed) for the fall. I will definitely be using Lawn & Order Landscaping again!

These guys are true professionals. Quality work at a slightly higher but more than fair price for the quality. They are extremely communicative and work through your lawn challenges with you, even if it means them not doing the side job. They reseeded our basically weeded lawn in the fall and the product came out fantastic. Lush lawn.

Joe and his crew at Lawn and Order did a great job with my lawn and yard work for about 5 years. I moved this spring to Minneapolis, and I wish I could have taken Joe and his crew with me. We always got numerous compliments on how the yard looked, and Joe was always responsive to my needs and requests. I chose Joe over several larger firms, and I never once regretted my decision. Highly recommend Joe Bailey and Lawn and Order.
