Product looks amazing. |Am very happy with this whole experience and would definitely use James Taylor Construction |again and recommend to a friend. Description of Work: Replaced bathroom window treatment with shutter windows, two in all.

Description of Work: Well after a couple of days of e-messaging on Angie's list, JT & co. informed me that they only install Indoor Shutters and not Outdoor ones. Just got our wires crossed no real harm done. I don't have anything negative to say about JT.

Description of Work: Came and gave very high estimate for shades for six standard windows. We only ordered 4. They were much slower to provide the shades than promised.

Description of Work: They did a good job with the roof. The clean up was very good. There was a little confusion as to the date the work was being done. I received an e-mail and not a phone call and did not respond back until the same day he wanted to do the work. I did not hear anything back so I assumed they were not coming. They showed up and started the job while I was out at an appt. I was unable to get anything covered in the attic which created a huge mess that took me a few hours to clean up. Other than that the job went smooth and the roof looks great!

Description of Work: The roof looks great! They completed the work in one day, cleaned up and there was no damage to shrubbery. The original deal was super. I knew that I had some roof damage and they fixed it at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Re-roofing w/ architectural shingles and installation of ridgevent. Some delays in starting, however, Ed always responded to my emails and calls--keeping me updated. He even stopped by on a Saturday to discuss the work and shingle colors.

Description of Work: James Taylor came out at to estimate our roof replacement. I did know that our roof was likely at the sqft limit for the deal and higher a higher pitch than was listed in the deal. However, I wasn't expecting an extra cost of almost $3,000 (over and above the $3,990 in the deal). We may consider this company in the future, but right now the total cost puts the deal out of our budget.

Description of Work: Had a new roof installed. They took off the old roof and repaired some trim. |The weather delayed them a bit. I was not there, but several of my neighbors commented on how hard working the crew was. You could hardly tell they had been there. |Brian was easy to work with and very responsive.

Description of Work: They removed old roof and replaced with new. They came early morning and just like precision clockwork, they finished around 8pm. They worked as a team, cleaned up, and when they were gone, you only noticed a nice, new roof. These people were courteous and were intent on doing a good job....when I mentioned a bit of shingle on an outside window sill, one said "Oh, wait, wait, let us get that right now." And he did. What an impressive group of hard working people! We will recommend them to everyone we know in need of a new roof.

Description of Work: they removed old roof and installed a new roof with all the underlayment and flashing around the chimney. They also installed new gutter guards.

Description of Work: James Taylor Construction did an excellent job of re-roofing my house. Crew was prompt showing up at 7:02AM on 7/7/14 and 7:06AM on 7/8/14 to finish the job. Total job took 1 and 1/2 days which is what was estimated. Great cleanup after. Have not found a single nail in the driveway or hedges. I am very happy with the job Jim and his crew did re-roofing my house. Definitely a highly recommend.

Description of Work: Completed the Architectural roof in very timely manner and Bryan has been very gracious in helping with my pursuit of some solar collecting shingles project. He has been in contact with the company and has even taken training so he can install this brand new technology.
