We had an excellent experience getting a new roof with JTC about six years ago, and to be fair I meant to jump on and write a very positive review then. However, we've since had some serious water damage along one section of eaves / soffit, to the point where we've now had water run down through our wall/flooring and into our HVAC ducts. I've emailed twice and called but haven't gotten any response at all. At this point, I'll try someone else, but I did have a very positive initial impression and would have thought that JTC would have at least come out to take a look at the problem for me.

Roof replacement went well. Easy to stay in touch with roofer via email. Would call for other work.

James was personally involved with the roof replacement project. He gave a date to perform the job and his team came on time, and replaced the roof in a day. He is knowledgebable has been in the business for 25 yrs.is honest, very competitively priced and follows up if you should have any questions.

I think they are out of business. They do t answer phones and don’t return calls.

Arrived on the sppointed day. Work completed on schedule. Roof looks very nice. Minor piece of follow up work to be complete in the next day or two.

This is a follow up to the company’s “rejection” of our dissatisfaction. We followed up their inspection with another roofer and our insurance company. Our insurance company said we did have damage and needed a new roof, which we got.

Excellent service and work. Very smooth experience. Kevin responded quickly with quote and setting expectations for timing of delivery and installation process. Our shutters were ready before we were as we were in the process of painting and remodeling. They patiently waited until we were ready for installation. Installation took about an hour and they look beautiful! Ended up ordering more for other rooms and I can’t wait for them to be ready! Highly recommend JTC.

The actual roofing job in 2014 went fine. We were pleased with the initial work and the price. However, the company’s follow up is sorely lacking. They responded when we had a concern about some of the new roofing within a couple of weeks. Our second issue it took much longer to get a response from them. Now in 2019, we have been trying to get them to come and check out our roof for hail damage. We can’t get anyone to call us. Just some texts and passing off of responsibility. Their customer service is poor.

Gave quick quote and then performed work in a very professional manner

No replies. Too small. Had a siding contractor in our neighborhood that did the repair for one of my wife's pound cake.

James Taylor came to our rescue after hurricane Florence, He came the next day after being contacted to put a tarp on the roof to prevent further damage. He then put on a new shingled roof shortly thereafter. Roof look great and the cleanup after the work was finished was great

Mr. Taylor, only sent me a estimate to do the roof, and never responded with the estimate to do the rest of the work listed.

The company was excellent, and the installer was terrific. I have already recommended them to two different people.

Kevin did an excellent installed job & the blinds were a better quality than I expected.

James Taylor Construction was phenomenal! This project was a great experience. The team was very professional and when they damaged my screen door by mistake James made it right. That's an example of what sets James apart from others. I would totally recommend him!

After some confusion and delay, Kevin remeasured for the shutter. He notified me that it was ready and arrived promptly to install it. As always, he was very professional and did the job quickly and neatly. I recommend them highly.

Outstanding. The team of professional installers arrived on time. They did an outstanding job and left the yard neat and clean. The whole job was done in 2 days. James Taylor made sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. I would use them again including other services they provide.

I've left a voicemail and email about a roofing need and didn't hear back until weeks later. Once I did hear from him and gave him my address, I never heard from him again.

Jim responded to our request for a quote very quickly and was reasonably priced. They worked quickly and with very good workmanship. They arrived promptly each morning and worked until after 7:00 each evening. The entire project took 2.5 days. They used magnets to pick up loose nails and we've had no issues. We had dreaded the process but Jim and his crew made it easy. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

That was fine because I didn't even use any of that, it was just two blinds for the front kitchen window. It was well worth it for the $89 - $90. They made some and then they'd come and put them up. I didn't even use anywhere near the amount, so that was fine. There was a lag in time there. They claimed they weren't notified of the purchased. I think they were just overrun with responses to that. That's my take on it. It was all fine. I was not in dire need at the moment. That was a good deal for someone who's spending that much. An A, for the price, for what I needed. It was fine. They actually work better than the blinds that I have in the house. Actually, we had a date set up, and he called and asked if he could change that. I don't remember if there was a family problem. He knew what he was doing. I would use them again, only if it was a good deal again, but I wouldn't call him out the blue.

Very well. The job was timely, professional and within budget.

Did not show up at initial appointment and made excuses for not showing up.
