Description of Work: Replaced entire roof on 2-1/2 story house with garage, steep roof pitch. Found 4 significant leaks, replaced 4 sheets plywood, cut and installed ridge vent on entire roof, installed perma-boots on vent pipes, repaired and painted trim where needed and also painted rusting chimney cap. | |I had 6 roofing contractors quote on the job (had a lot of recommendations), and for comparison purposes created a spreadsheet listing all line items. Besides the relaxed and easy communication, what sold me on JTC is they are not only certified roofing experts but have no qualms about performing other repairs/painting/etc. as needed, saving both time and $$. Most other companies either don't do those types of repairs or need to charge much more due to sub-contracting, as not part of their normal business. | |Any issues I had they quickly resolved to a high quality level without argument. Our roof looks beautiful! We highly recommend JTC.

Description of Work: They removed our old roof, roof paper, and rotten wood. Replaced all of those items plus we opted to have them add roof edge trim/guards. They took great care in protecting our landscaping w/ plastic and removed all debris. The work was completed in a timely manner and great care was taken w/ our property during the work.

Description of Work: I bought the Angie's list new roof "big deal", but the additional cost estimate was $1000 more than every other (non-Angie's List) estimate I had gotten. I immediately cancelled. But it took several months to get my $4000 returned from Angie's List.

Description of Work: New roof and gutters on back of house. Went fine. Initial dely was due to our already scheduled back yard aerating and seeding, then we needed to have some limbs removed - after tht the project was completed quite quickly. They cleaned up completely afterwards also.

Description of Work: I wanted to get a leak on my roof looked at and get a quote on new gutters. I was initially contacted by James Taylor who said he was forwarding my contact info to a Ed Woody who was his partner that lived in Wendell which is closer to me. I also called the number for Mr. Woody twice and left messages. Never received a call back.

Description of Work: We have a three-story home with upper and lower roofs, and we had James Taylor Construction tear off and replace the entire roof using architectural shingles with a limited lifetime warranty. Also included was replacement of chimney flashing and boots around ventilation pipes, etc. They also added an overhang in an area that needed one to prevent water from coming up against the house. All of the work was done in a very timely and professional manner.
