The coupon did not meet our needs, the contractor said there was nothing he can do because the age of the home and windows. He was great to work with, called to confirm the appointment, arrived with in a half hour, and explained everything.

Kept me posted systematically on when he would be available, and assured that was sufficient and convenient. Arrived on time. Called in advance. Asked if he was parked in an okay space (he was). Gave choice on where he started. Was very nice and skilled with my barking puppy. Seemed to like her! Yay. Very efficient and knew his business inside out. Impressive. On task. Taught me things so that I could maximize what I could do for myself. Did not have to ask. Learned things I wish I'd known! Finished work completely and quickly. Did not let phone calls interrupt. Was clean and took care not to track in dirt or leave even a small mess. Refused snack/refreshments. Refused tip! Really professional. Did not pick on things like needing to see my receipt. Treated me well. I would definitely use him again, and again!

Paul was punctual, friendly and professional. He did a great job and called me over to look at a couple things he was working on, to explain what he needed to do and what could be done if the future, if I chose to follow up. I was very happy with the service provided and would certainly use his services again.

Delay experienced initially in getting work done due to handyman's availability, another team member late thus arrival for work was late starting on date of service. Communication was excellent and I am glad I stayed onsite to address concerns, answer questions. Only negatives: - I have black doors and team replaced weather stripping with white weather stripping. Did not offer choice and just applied what they had and did not offer to change out. - I had to instruct one team member on how to remove a supposedly stripped screw and discourage attempts to trim bottom of front door while door still hanging - I had to nix the acceptability of "shoving the front door shut" because of thickness of weatherstrip/sweep replacement and require door adjustment Positives: Team of two worked well together, were polite and knowledgeable. As with any workteam recommend homeowner stay onsite to address interventions BEFORE they are done. I thought the price was a bit high for what they did, but they did a fine job. They also didn’t have brown stripping to match the rest of the stripping in my house.

They did a great job and were very professional and cleaned up everything. Ed Woody helped us with color selection for the shingles and they look great.

Paul was very courteous and went beyond the scope of work in his replacement of the weather stripping of our doors. He did a great job and we would recommend him to anyone.

Ed and his crew were very professional. The pricing could not be beat. They did a great job. Were punctual and cleaned up after every day. Great experience and would not hestitate to recommend them

I spoke with the vendor and found out the big deal was not going to work for what I needed done.

It took some time to get it scheduled. When they came, they worked hard the whole time, cleaned up each day after they finished. I called them to ask about whether or not I should worry about the break in the particle board that underlies the roof and if i need to get it patched. Ed offered to come by within the next week to take a look at it. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after their work, were on time, and responsive to questions.

Paul was great at keeping up with me and letting me know when he would be coming. Got the job done, and even was willing to come back another day to finish one of the projects.

Our house is about 20 years old and has wooden windows and doors, making for a drafty home, even during a mild winter. They arrived on time, inquired about our concerns, priorities, and preferences, took time to educate us about what they were doing and why, and left no mess behind. In the days following their service we could feel a difference in the warmth in our home and were aware of the heat kicking on less frequently. We look forward to recouping the expense of the service through lower heating and air conditioning bills. We would definitely recommend this Deal and this company.

Ed and his crew are among the most professional people I have worked with. I got a roof and gutter replacement at a very reasonable cost. I did considerable research on Angie's List, talking to neighbors, and the internet before knowing what I wanted with roof replacement. Ed spent a lot of time via e-mail, telephone, and in person to make sure that I got the job and materials I wanted and that it was done for a reasonable price. He identified issues with my roof/fascia that others had glanced over, such as how my fascia was mounted too high and that this was causing my soffits to get water damage. He offered to remedy these issues without additional cost, which to me showed that he wasn't trying to upsell me on anything. In addition, when he couldn't move a poorly mounted gutter from original home construction which was allowing water to reach my siding, he offered to replace that gutter and the gutters on my entire home for an incredible price (seamless and color matched). Both the roof and the gutters look amazing and both were installed with meticulous attention to detail. I watched several neighbors have their homes done by other companies and their crews did not take the time or energy to provide the same level of finish as Ed's team did. For example, when Ed's team stripped the roof, they stacked shingles on the roof and organizingly threw them in their waste truck rather than scraping all off willy nilly and causing siding damage. In addition, he guarantees his work, which might not mean much except that when I contacted him that I thought one of my gutters was leaking, he came out soon afterward, identified that the end cap had mistakenly not been sealed, and took care of the issue no questions asked. Long story short, I am a very satisfied customer. Ed is an honest business man who does a high quality job. I plan to recommend him to all of my friends for any roofing/gutter needs.

I was contacted promptly. Someone from the company stopped by with roofing samples. I ended up backing out of the deal. The company was very gracious and helpful in figuring out how to get a refund for the service. I was very pleased with their conduct.

They came out and never did the work because the coupon would not cover the issue at hand. They were very nice and showed up on time. He was also very knowledgeable.

Paul came here & made adjustments that I did not know could be done. He is very knowledgeable & experienced with air leaks.

I purchased a handyman-for-a-day deal here on Angie's List. It was $299.00 for 8 man hours. That means if two men are on the job, they only spend 4 hours. Paul did end up coming with a helper, but they did not drop their tools and book it out of my house as soon as the 4 hour window was up. They stayed until the work was done. In the time they were at my house (~5 hours), they installed a range hood, built a base for my kitchen island, trimmed a small window, and put a layer of mud over a patch in the ceiling. Whenever they arrived we went over the work that I needed to have done and then we took a trip over to Lowes to pick up some materials. We couldn't find the right size vent for the range hood, but they got creative and were able to work it out. They were very nice and worked quickly. I would certainly have them over again to do some work, even without the coupon. My only complaint is that they left a pretty large gap between the window sill and the actual window when they trimmed it. I did not notice it while they were here, but a few days later when I went to paint it. I did not call and complain about this, so I cannot say how they would respond to that. I got busy with work and other things and after some time had passed I figured I would just fix it myself.

All went well. They were very professional. Cleaned up well behind themselves. The floor in the bathroom turned out BEAUTIFUL - very nice work!!

Paul was responsive and thorough over the phone, talking through each item to make sure everything was covered. He also gave me an idea of supplies to purchase ahead of time so they could get to work right away. They did everything I asked and more, gave some tips on how to keep things up on my own and were so friendly. I will definitely have them come back next time I need handyman service!

The worker arrived on time and was friendly.However, I was disappointed when t I was told that fixing the front door seal was outside of what they would repair. If I would have known this I would have hired a different contractor. I feel this was deceptive advertising.

Ed and his crew did an excellent job. They cleaned thouroughly every day to ensure my kids and dogs did not step on any nails. They worked almost from sun up to sun down each day to get the job done as scheduled. Ed noted all of my concerns and ensured they were all addressed. And when a dumpster accident left a hole in my garage door Ed refused to accept payment until he had the door replaced with a high quality door at no cost to me. His crew were very nice guys who obviously take pride in their work. I would and have recommended Ed and his crew to a couple of friends.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for half off handyman work and Paul contacted me shortly after. We played phone tag for a while, but when we finally got in touch, he met me at my house the same day. I had a few complicated issues, but Paul had GREAT ideas about how to fix things correctly without spending a fortune. He was by far the most willing to look for alternate solutions and the most creative of all the contractors that have given me quotes. He started work the next day with Scott. Paul came to Home Depot with me to pick up materials while Scott continued working at the house. They accomplished quite a lot that first day and I was very pleased with the quality and speed of the work. Fixing the stairs and the screen has made such a difference on our porch. They came back the next day to work on the sheetrock problems. In general, I am VERY happy with their work, but if I had a complaint, it would be sheetrock mud and dust. I mentioned my complaint to Paul and have not had a problem with it since. They stopped work on a Thursday and couldn't finish up the outside items because of the bad weather. I had the plumbing that was out of scope fixed the following Monday, but there was a large hole in the sheetrock and we had to wait about a week to get back on Paul's schedule. I called Paul and asked him if there was anything I could do about the humidity due to the hole in the sheetrock and he came over the very next morning before another job and patched it for us. I was very impressed. When all the sheetrock mud dried, Paul and Scott started working on the new shower walls. The walls I had purchased were packaged incorrectly by the manufacturer. Paul not only called the manufacturer, but ordered replacement walls AND went to pick them up for me! I was so pleased that he took that extra step to make sure the walls were installed correctly. While we were waiting on the new walls to arrive, I noticed a dark spot on out guest room ceiling. I called Paul to see what he thought about it. He came over that night and crawled all over my attic to try to find the source of the leak. We couldn't find any water in the attic, but I was so happy that I didn't have to crawl up there that I could have cried with joy. He even volunteered to crawl up there again when he came back for the shower walls just to make sure there was no more water. In the end, all of the work performed looks great and i am very pleased with it. I already have another list for Paul--i will definitely be using him again. I highly recommend.
