Five Star Painting did a great job painting our home. We just moved to the area and we called Five Star from their great reviews on Angie's List. Robin met us at our home and his crew was able to start painting within a week. The painting crew was professional and accommodating about our newly refinished hardwood floors (they covered everything with paper so as to not damage the new finish). We highly recommend Five Star Painting!

I could not be more satisfied with the service and work performed by Five Star. Since the initial contact with the company, I have been meet with continual professionalism, responsiveness and promptness. Robin was able to schedule a meeting for quote immediately after I contacted the company and turned around a quote within a day. He was very flexible (and patient!) with the additional work I added or changed. He answered any and all of my questions, answered the phone anytime I called, was very understanding with my modification of scheduling and was always punctual. The services that were performed was a fairly large job (removal of popcorn ceilings throughout entire house, wallpaper removal for one room and interior painting of majority of home). The removal of the popcorn ceilings is a very messy task and his crew did a great job in cleaning up. I am very satisfied & pleased with the work performed. Most importantly, the ceilings look amazing and the painting looks great!

The work from 5-Star was terrific. Professionally, they did a great job with popcorn removal and creating smooth, fresh ceilings. The crew worked incredibly hard everyday. They were also polite, respectful of our belongings, and probably kept one of the cleanest work environments I've encountered. The 'mess' with this job was kept to a bare minimum and we didn't experience any of the "dust everywhere" scenarios we heard so much about with popcorn removal. The crew and manager were very responsive to suggestions or feedback and clearly wanted to ensure customer satisfaction. They came back several days after the work was finished to do some minor touch up -- same professionalism throughout. We would certainly hire 5-Star do work in the future.

Robin arrived at the house, took measurements and explained the paint options. We received a quote the next day and upon acceptance were scheduled within a week, during which time we selected our paint colors. When Robin and crew returned we walked through the rooms to be painted and their corresponding colors, as well as any damage to the walls that Robin said they would fix as part of the job (he also said they would help us move furniture, but we had already gone ahead and moved the majority). The two painters began and were fast and tidy - they were done within 1.5 days. There were a lot of touch ups required after the initial two coats, but one of the painters returned timely and completed the job to our satisfaction. All in all, we were very pleased with the outcome.

It went very well. The original quote was reasonable and we felt comfortable using Five Star. Robin was very responsive to our questions and came by the house regularly to check on the work and that it was being done to our satisfaction. His crew were very hard-working, even with the really high temperatures we've had lately. They showed up on time and ready to work. We had more wood repair than was originally expected but they took care of everything, even replacing some of the shutters which had been on the house when it was built. We had a walk-around check list at the end of the job and all items were fixed to our satisfaction. The house looks great, as nice as it was when we first bought it 10 years ago. The project was a great success. These guts were great to work with. The work was completed in two days and the value for the cost was well worth it. Robin was extremely responsive during the estimate, execution and punch list phases. He returned texts and calls immediately in real time and e-mails very promptly. Both the estimate and execution phases were well organized and Robin helped us choose the best paints. The crew moved and covered all furniture during the prep phase of the work and replaced it when the job was complete. Plastic was put down or hung not only where the work was taking place but wherever necessary to keep the rest of the house clean. The crew put in a full workday, worked extremely hard, did high quality work, and did a good cleanup at the end of each day. A few punch list items I identified to Robin the day after I had signed off on the job completion were corrected within a couple of days.

I was not in the state when the work was done but I was very pleased to see what a nice job they did. Very professional and clean work.

We had a fantastic experience with 5 Star Painting of Wake Forest. Our house needed paint but we also had some trim areas that needed repair. Robin was very professional and took care of everything for us. He recommended an improved finish for our deck and it looks fantastic. It's holding up great after the winter; a definite step up from the finish we were using. The job site foreman and personnel were great as well. They we respectful, courteous and prompt. The took care to clean up and not damage any plants. I was extremely pleased with the work done and give them my highest recommendation!

Went very well. Robin Green was great to work with. Robin answered all my questions and let me know what to expect during the process.The painting crew was great. They replaced any siding or wood that was bad . The crew knew what they were doing. They were here when they said they would be and cleaned up each day. When the job was finished Robin did a walk around to make sure everything was done to my expectations. I will use them again when I have the interior of the house painted.

Overall it went well. Some of the original items included in the estimate had not been done but when we called, the office responded promptly and apologized. They came right out and finished the job properly.

Robin is thorough and more than conscientious when it comes to quality, price and quote accuracy (time, paint needed). He offers suggestions and is flexible when it comes to a not so decisive homeowner:) we had gotten 3 quotes and required a 2 day job to prepare for moving day and Five Star delivered. We will definitely use again.

Robin and his crew are amazing!! I had put off having our house painted because I didn't want to deal with the "hassle" of moving everything. Robin and his crew were on time and helped take down all my curtains, pictures and a ton of knickknacks. The work was completed on time and beautifully done. They made sure the floor, counters and furniture were completely covered. They cleaned up and left no mess for me to take care of. Robin is very easy to communicate with and worked around our schedule. I can't wait for our next project. I highly recommend Five Star Painting.

This is the second job that I have called Five Star for. After experiencing the amazing customer service, speed of response, quality of paint job, and cleanliness and courteousness of the crew after they painted the exterior of my house, trim and outbuilding, I had them come back to do the sheetrock repair and repainting of my kitchen. Once again, they lived up to their five-star name. They always find some way to go above and beyond what other crews would do (in this case: cutting the wooden shelves to fit inside a bookcase -- a job that was not at all on their job specifications, but that they saw needing doing). Now I'm just looking around for some reason to hire them again.

Because of another postponement, they were able to start earlier than expected which was perfect. They were very focused and did a tremendous job! The repairs they did were perfect, the painting was very clean and the they left no mess whatsoever when they were completed. The crew were friendly and very helpful. Robin hit a home run!

Robin was a pleasure to work with personally and professionally. I was happy with the quote, though we did have to go back and forth a few times to make sure the quote matched up with the work that I was expecting. Robin made good with me about it. I'll also admit I did keep adding on additional things to do after the initial quote.. Thanks for being accommodating! The crew showed up on time, when they were scheduled to start. They completed the work in less time than originally estimated. The crew taped and covered everything up, and blocked off areas to keep drywall dust from spreading everywhere. When done, they cleaned up and even moved furniture back into place. The quality of the work was very good, which included filling holes, fixing a patch that I didn't complete, and apply caulking to trim where needed. The work performed is as good as any work that I do, and my wife accuses me of being a perfectionist. However, what would have taken me weeks to do took his crew under a day and a half. In the interest of full disclosure, I did receive a few Starbucks gift cards from Robin, which could be construed as an incentive to write a review. While I did quite enjoy the latte I had this morning, it does not affect my opinion of the work that Five Star painting has done. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Thanks much!

They say that if you want a quality job done right, you have to do it yourself. Clearly they haven't met Robin Green at Five Star Painting! My wife and I closed on a new home and had 2 weeks to get contractors lined up prior to move-in. Unfortunately a lot of that time was used working out minor details with the builder and fighting over paint colors, and soon we found ourselves with less than 48 hours to get the home painted before furniture arrived! Enter Robin and Five Star Painting. I hit up Angie's List Thursday afternoon to find a painter, and Robin was the first one to actually answer my phone call. I explained the situation, and while he was headed home he turned around and was at our home 30 minutes later. He measured and helped us choose the right type of paint for our walls, and provided us with a written estimate. He told us he could have a crew ready to go at 8am Friday morning (we were lucky that an exterior job was cancelled due to rain.) We hesitated as it sounded too good to be true, but after calling other painters we realized Five Star was not only our best option, but also cheaper than some of the other estimates. Friday morning the crew was ready to go on time and on schedule--Robin came out in the morning to supervise setup with the crew, confirmed the work to be done, and then the crew got to painting. They made sure to sand down the walls first, tape up the trim, and protect the hardwood floors. They worked quickly and efficiently without doing a rush job (2 proper coats of paint on all walls; 3 coats with the darker colors.) They knew that movers were coming the next day, so the crew stayed well past dinner time to finish the job (I ordered a few pizzas so they could eat!) They came back on Saturday morning to finish a final coat and Robin came back out to do the quality check and walkthrough. They finished on time and the paint was drying just as the movers arrived! Robin provided excellent advice on how to care for the paint in new construction, and even offered to come back and do a 2nd walkthrough a few days after the move in case we noticed anything off. Five Star completely exceeded my expectations given that they had less than 24 hour notice to start the job. I'm looking forward to calling them again when we're ready to paint the other rooms!

We found Five Star Painting after having a horrific experience with another company and we couldn't be more pleased. After getting quotes from 4 other companies, we met Robin and hired Five Star to paint our entire downstairs, top to bottom, kitchen cabinets and all. This was no small feat as our home hadn't been painted in decades and there was a need for tons of patching, caulking and general sanding/cleaning. Robin arrived early and walked me through everything again and started moving my furniture, etc. The crew arrived and immediately went to work on prep, taking great care to protect our new flooring. Robin noticed a bannister was very loose and wobbly and without charging us, he shimmed, tightened and secured the railings. They continued to work hard for 2 days and the results were spectacular. They cleaned up after themselves and put all of our furniture and accessories back. Robin did a walk-through while they were clearing out and again after they did the minor touch ups he pointed out. The crew was courteous and patient with me. My home looks unbelievably refreshed and clean and just lovely. It's ready to go on the market, but now I kind of want to stay! I really just can't say enough good things about Five Star Painting and I will certainly be hiring them to work on our new home one day.

I met Robin on a Thursday and walked through the home and told him I was selling the house and needed a fresh coat of paint. I promptly received the estimate via email on Saturday morning. Sunday he texted me to confirm color and 8:30am Monday morning his crew was at my house painting. Everyone was awesome and answered every single question I asked. They even removed their shoes upon entering my home. Robin called me and told me they were all done, so we did a final walk through and everything looked awesome. I can totally recommend their services without hesitation. Not only did they do a great job promptly, I was impressed with their excellent communicating via email, text, and good old fashion telephone. I also like the fact they are a family owned company. When I purchase my next home I am defiantly calling them for any of my painting needs.
