Five Star did superior work and I would highly recommend them - and will use them again! From original contact, Trent was immediately responsive and professional. I was able to schedule him to come to my home to quote the job within 24 hours and had the work done the next day! The crew was efficient, polite, tidy, and did exceptional work. I had them do several different paint colors with nary a hesitation, and they smiled the whole time. I could tell they enjoyed what they do. The owner, Robin, was thoroughly in contact with me and he and Trent both came to inspect the work and make sure I was satisfied with the job that the crew completed. They even did some minor drywall repair complimentary. Five Star did in four hours what another painting company I had hired would have taken a week to do...and they were less money! I even had them add on staining the deck for an extremely competitive price. Very happy customer, you can trust this company.

I purchased an offer of of Angie's list for interior painting, but knew the offer was not broad enough to cover the scope. I was called the same day as the purchase and met the owners' father the next day, a Saturday. A thorough walk-thru was conducted and a detailed proposal was provided for the additional work. The painting commenced on Monday and wrapped up the following Saturday with an entire crew that was very professional, cared about the final product and whom took great care to protect my personal belongings. I could not more strongly recommend this company, and am very happy to have used their services!

They contacted us promptly and scheduled the walk-through. Taylor came to the house and did a thorough job of reviewing the rooms and our requests for each. He answered our questions and submitted the estimate within a couple of business days. We were surprised at how quickly they were able to come and do the work. They began painting within a week of our first contact! The entire job took about 4 days--probably a little longer than usual because several of our rooms needed 3 coats in order to cover up previous bold colors. They took great care to cover the hardwood floors, carpet, counter tops, cabinets, etc. so all areas were protected. The painting crew was hardworking, polite, and meticulous. They did a superb job! Our 15-year-old home was transformed; it felt new again but even more beautiful than before! Robin was our key contact throughout the process, and he was committed to providing us the best possible customer service. After all the painting was finished, Robin walked through the house with us to make sure everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for better! We would highly recommend Five Star. When we have painting needs in the future, without a doubt we will call Five Star.

Robin and Taylor were great. The job was done quickly and beautifully. There crew was prompt and professional. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others, in fact we have already! Robin is a great communicator and we certainly appreciated that. We can't say enough good things about this company. They added on extra work on the deck that was totally unplanned and I LOVE the deck.

Five Star Painting did a great job painting our home. We just moved to the area and we called Five Star from their great reviews on Angie's List. Robin met us at our home and his crew was able to start painting within a week. The painting crew was professional and accommodating about our newly refinished hardwood floors (they covered everything with paper so as to not damage the new finish). We highly recommend Five Star Painting!

I could not be more satisfied with the service and work performed by Five Star. Since the initial contact with the company, I have been meet with continual professionalism, responsiveness and promptness. Robin was able to schedule a meeting for quote immediately after I contacted the company and turned around a quote within a day. He was very flexible (and patient!) with the additional work I added or changed. He answered any and all of my questions, answered the phone anytime I called, was very understanding with my modification of scheduling and was always punctual. The services that were performed was a fairly large job (removal of popcorn ceilings throughout entire house, wallpaper removal for one room and interior painting of majority of home). The removal of the popcorn ceilings is a very messy task and his crew did a great job in cleaning up. I am very satisfied & pleased with the work performed. Most importantly, the ceilings look amazing and the painting looks great!

The work from 5-Star was terrific. Professionally, they did a great job with popcorn removal and creating smooth, fresh ceilings. The crew worked incredibly hard everyday. They were also polite, respectful of our belongings, and probably kept one of the cleanest work environments I've encountered. The 'mess' with this job was kept to a bare minimum and we didn't experience any of the "dust everywhere" scenarios we heard so much about with popcorn removal. The crew and manager were very responsive to suggestions or feedback and clearly wanted to ensure customer satisfaction. They came back several days after the work was finished to do some minor touch up -- same professionalism throughout. We would certainly hire 5-Star do work in the future.

Robin arrived at the house, took measurements and explained the paint options. We received a quote the next day and upon acceptance were scheduled within a week, during which time we selected our paint colors. When Robin and crew returned we walked through the rooms to be painted and their corresponding colors, as well as any damage to the walls that Robin said they would fix as part of the job (he also said they would help us move furniture, but we had already gone ahead and moved the majority). The two painters began and were fast and tidy - they were done within 1.5 days. There were a lot of touch ups required after the initial two coats, but one of the painters returned timely and completed the job to our satisfaction. All in all, we were very pleased with the outcome.

It went very well. The original quote was reasonable and we felt comfortable using Five Star. Robin was very responsive to our questions and came by the house regularly to check on the work and that it was being done to our satisfaction. His crew were very hard-working, even with the really high temperatures we've had lately. They showed up on time and ready to work. We had more wood repair than was originally expected but they took care of everything, even replacing some of the shutters which had been on the house when it was built. We had a walk-around check list at the end of the job and all items were fixed to our satisfaction. The house looks great, as nice as it was when we first bought it 10 years ago. The project was a great success. These guts were great to work with. The work was completed in two days and the value for the cost was well worth it. Robin was extremely responsive during the estimate, execution and punch list phases. He returned texts and calls immediately in real time and e-mails very promptly. Both the estimate and execution phases were well organized and Robin helped us choose the best paints. The crew moved and covered all furniture during the prep phase of the work and replaced it when the job was complete. Plastic was put down or hung not only where the work was taking place but wherever necessary to keep the rest of the house clean. The crew put in a full workday, worked extremely hard, did high quality work, and did a good cleanup at the end of each day. A few punch list items I identified to Robin the day after I had signed off on the job completion were corrected within a couple of days.

I was not in the state when the work was done but I was very pleased to see what a nice job they did. Very professional and clean work.

We had a fantastic experience with 5 Star Painting of Wake Forest. Our house needed paint but we also had some trim areas that needed repair. Robin was very professional and took care of everything for us. He recommended an improved finish for our deck and it looks fantastic. It's holding up great after the winter; a definite step up from the finish we were using. The job site foreman and personnel were great as well. They we respectful, courteous and prompt. The took care to clean up and not damage any plants. I was extremely pleased with the work done and give them my highest recommendation!

They replaced any siding or wood that was bad . The crew knew what they were doing. They were here when they said they would be and cleaned up each day. When the job was finished Robin did a walk around to make sure everything was done to my expectations. I will use them again when I have the interior of the house painted.

Overall it went well. Some of the original items included in the estimate had not been done but when we called, the office responded promptly and apologized. They came right out and finished the job properly.

Robin is thorough and more than conscientious when it comes to quality, price and quote accuracy (time, paint needed). He offers suggestions and is flexible when it comes to a not so decisive homeowner:) we had gotten 3 quotes and required a 2 day job to prepare for moving day and Five Star delivered. Robin and his crew are amazing!! I had put off having our house painted because I didn't want to deal with the "hassle" of moving everything. Robin and his crew were on time and helped take down all my curtains, pictures and a ton of knickknacks. The work was completed on time and beautifully done. They made sure the floor, counters and furniture were completely covered. They cleaned up and left no mess for me to take care of. Robin is very easy to communicate with and worked around our schedule. I can't wait for our next project. I highly recommend Five Star Painting.

This is the second job that I have called Five Star for. After experiencing the amazing customer service, speed of response, quality of paint job, and cleanliness and courteousness of the crew after they painted the exterior of my house, trim and outbuilding, I had them come back to do the sheetrock repair and repainting of my kitchen. Once again, they lived up to their five-star name. They always find some way to go above and beyond what other crews would do (in this case: cutting the wooden shelves to fit inside a bookcase -- a job that was not at all on their job specifications, but that they saw needing doing). Now I'm just looking around for some reason to hire them again.

Because of another postponement, they were able to start earlier than expected which was perfect. They were very focused and did a tremendous job! The repairs they did were perfect, the painting was very clean and the they left no mess whatsoever when they were completed. The crew were friendly and very helpful. Robin hit a home run!
