I had a really good experience with Five Star. The price was reasonable compared to all my other quotes. I liked that the Manager went over in detail with myself and the foreman before the job started. The crew was on time every day and was very nice. They went above and beyond my expectations when it came to prepping. Everything was covered. I'm very pleased with everything and Five Star did a great job! I would hire them again and refer them to anyone!

Great service, very punctual, and the quality was fantastic. The pricing at Five Star was the best by far and the quality was fantastic.

They didn't paint or sand the tops of the trim around windows and doors, and even on some of the floor boards. They didn't consistently sand baseboard trim facing, either. All cracks that they "fixed", reappeared within 1-2 weeks: ceiling and wall joints. * We had them back twice (after the initial job) to repaint and sand almost all of the tops of the wood trim and many areas of face trim, where, for the 3rd trip out, we marked everything with tape so they would do it...AND STILL, they missed several areas and left them. Without standing over them individually, they did not give attention to the details consistently. *ALL cracks reappeared in our ceiling and walls, within 2 weeks, and they said, THEN, that this was not in their scope to repair. We have cathedral ceilings, so now a big pain to repair once we moved in. *The owner was very responsive, nice and professional, and kept bringing the crews back out, but didn't check their work - would visually give a quick look over, approve, and that was it. *This level of inconsistency and lack of detail by the workers was something we have never experienced. *We finally gave up and didn't want them back a fourth time. They basically didn't paint or sand any area where they thought they could get away with not doing it. * We will need to have the entire job redone within the next 2 years due to the poor job and cracks (and peeling) that have already appeared in the trim and walls/ceilings. Do not use this company if you need high quality, consistent work. They are probably fine for basic painting. I am stunned at the high ratings for trim work and attention to detail. We are terribly disappointed in their work and frustrated that we still have cracks in the ceilings and walls, as well as rough trim that collects dust.

Everything about this FiveStar was amazing from the start. The sales process was straight forward and everyone arrived on-time. We were painting a very light color over three rooms that had darker colors in them so there were lots of places that needed attention to make sure everything was covered. The crew did an amazing job, the attention to detail was so good that it was up to par with work that you would have done yourself which I have not seen with painting companies in the past. I don't think I'll bother to call another company for future work and recommend Five Star to everyone, especially this branch as they are a large company.

Five Star estimator Katie responded very quickly to my email request to set up an appointment. Once I approved the estimate, Five Star owner Robin quickly found a time slot where they could do the work the same week. Robin texted me when the crew was on the way, and his crew showed up on time. The work involved a lot of cutting in, which looked to have been done quite well (I had provided them with touch-up paint, just in case, but they didn't need to use it). Robin was very accommodating with my wish to use Behr paint from Home Depot rather than his usual paint brand (Sherwin-Williams), and gave me an adequate materials credit on the job when I bought the paint myself (in the interests of speed). When the job was done, the crew stayed on site until Katie and I arrived to do a walk-through. Again, they were very accommodating to my schedule, waiting for over 30 minutes until I could get there from a previous appointment. Also, because their minimum job is $500 and this job was for under $400, Robin gave me a carry-forward credit to use for an exterior paint job that we're going to have done next spring. All in all, I was very pleased with both the paint job and the entire process of working with Five Star on what amounted to a very small job for them (less than 4 hours of work total).

We are very happy with service provided by both Robin & Taylor right from scheduling time with color consultant to finishing interior painting of our entire house. They both are prompt and answered any questions we had. Pablo and team did very good job on painting and all the prep work they have done. They exceeded our expectations by moving lot of our furniture and removing/putting back the curtains on our windows. Five Star Painting and the team truly provided five star service by transforming our house with high quality paint job.

It went great, all my expectations were met or exceeded. Our property is near a lake and 5 star recommended adding millicide and insecticide to the paint which seems to really be helping compared to neighbors homes. They were prompt, courteous, competitively priced, and great painters

First of all, Katie is top notch! Highly professional, personable and punctual. She gave us an excellent quote the same day that she came out to our home and scheduled our job within a few days of the quote. We were having carpet installed within 2 weeks and she worked with us to make sure that the painting was completed before the carpet install date. The painters showed up on time, were very courteous and did an excellent job. In fact they were so good, we had Katie give us a quote for more rooms in our home....again they did this before our carpet install. Five Star Painting (Raleigh, Durham, RTP) will be our "go to" painters from here on out for both interior and exterior jobs. The whole experience was very positive and we love Katie!

Didn't show up for appointment. 8/30/17 made appointment for estimate on their website for the next day and I received a confirmation email. No one showed for the estimate appointment. Called to find out what happened and they gave some excuse that just didn't make sense. Rescheduled another estimate for 5 days later. (Holiday weekend in between). Checked their website and they listed estimate appointments still available for the next day. I can only conclude that the website estimate scheduling is broken and cannot be trusted in the least.

The job was expedited and to my satisfaction. Money was not required up front and Taylor and his crew came and went from the house within the day, and I wasn't even there. Apart from the mess I left, and the fact the walls were a different color you wouldn't even know they'd been there! Just what I like.

Work was done well. They took quite a bit of time prepping the space for the interior job, protecting carpets and furniture.

Five Star Painting Raleigh Durham was great. For a person who has never used a painting company, Robin and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable with my decision. I was nervous about the cost but Five Star Painting gave me a very fair estimate. All of the painters were polite, efficient and hard working. If I ever need another paint job, Five Star Raleigh Durham will be my first phone call!

Five star provided excellent service. Pricing was fair. Crew worked diligently. Clean-up was thorough. Schedule met. Five Star was flexible and very easy to work with.

Overall excellent job. From the first meeting with Trent where he presented the company's insurance and license prior to starting the estimate to the follow up with Robin. Professional a-la-carte estimate from which we were able to adjust our job selections. We made adjustments once under contract and work in progress without any issue and the bill was adjusted accordingly and fairly. Pablo and his crew completed the entire job of our three level home over a four day period which included rain which disrupted the timing only slightly. We had to call them back for two touch ups after the job which we didn't notice in the walk through with Robin at the end of the job and they cam back within two days to get the few things done. We had them use the highest quality Sherwyn Williams paint. This was the first paint applied to a five year old home in the woods. House went from weathered and worn to looking brand new over five days. We highly recommend Five Star Painting to anyone looking for an honest painter crew with a company that is professional from the first contact to the follow up.

Very happy with the work that was performed. Robin is very professional and helpful. He promised I would be happy with the results and he did not disappoint! I had several companies come out and give estimates and Five Start gave me the best price out of all of them. They perform a walk around prior to starting to ensure everyone is on the same page. They get started when they said and I was even out of town, but they completed the work and waited for my return. Afterwards, they perform another walk through to ensure everything meets your satisfaction. Robin even found a couple of places that he wanted to have touched up and made arraignments for his foreman to return and complete those tasks. I am very happy with the results!

They were amazing! They worked with my schedule, prepped everything and began painting one afternoon, worked late and finished by noon the second day. The workers were very efficient and professional. The work done was exceptional. They patched holes and finished painting. And left the place clean when they left. There was no mess and no issues whatsoever.

They were punctual from the first meeting and with the painters. They were quick to respond, even when we had questions in the beginning on the weekend. They covered everything and did not track paint or have splatter spots. We are more than pleased with the final product and would highly recommend them.

They were incredibly fast and very professional. The team who was there was polite, friendly, and clearly very efficient. They did great work repairing the walls from the previous owners as well. Really glad we hired someone instead of trying to do it ourselves.

We have an open ceiling open floor plan house and we needed the living area and ceilings painted. I requested a quote online and received a response within 2 days. The project manager came out and provided me with an emailed quote within 3 days. Each room was outlined individually, to include labor and paint. We scheduled to paint job for the following week. The team came in and took care of everything. Moved furniture, took the big screen TV of the wall, covered the entire house, floor to top. I worked from home while the painters painted and did not once felt disturbed or distracted. After day one all the walls had been sanded, repaired and prepped for painting the next day. The team arrived early the next day and by 6:00 pm the house was painted, generally cleaned and put back together. The crew (two man team) was very friendly and professional and tolerated my dogs when we had to walk through the working area. We can highly recommend this company. They went above and beyond and repaired items I did not point out or wasn't aware of until we saw the end result. We already hired the company to clean, repair and paint our deck and will call them when its time to paint the bedrooms.
