Five star was excellent in every way.

Five Star Painting did a fantastic job, painting several rooms of my house, both walls and trim. They were prompt and courteous and did a thorough job on all the prep work. The results look terrific, and they were a pleasure to work with.

Five Star Painting has been my first choice for the past 8 years. They have always been very quick to get you on the schedule, promt, polite, professional and neat. Most importantly they do excellent work! When I hire Five Star I know it will be a job well done!

We were extremely unhappy with the very poor quality interior painting by Five Star Painting. They attempted to fix some of the areas but, as we learned afterward, at least one of the “fixes” actually made the problem worse. For example, we learned that white paint spots all over the stained woodwork should never have been remedied by caulking the areas where the wall meets the woodwork. If we were ever to repaint the walls a color other than white, we would be left with a white line where the walls meet the woodwork. In addition, in many areas, more caulk was on the woodwork than on the walls and removing it scratched the woodwork, requiring it to be refinished. As a result, we spent thousands of dollars to remove the caulk, repair the finish on the woodwork, and repaint the walls. Caulking should never have been performed as a remedy for sloppy painting. We did not anticipate the problems this would cause when they suggested this as a remedy and would never have agreed to it had we known. Unfortunately, we relied on their advice. Other problems with the painting included: • Lines and lumps on ceilings and walls where cracks were mudded and repaired • Mud applied to brick around sunroom doorway and then sanded leaving behind circular lines (mud should never have been applied to brick) • Pinpoint holes left in some areas where mud was applied • Debris in the paint, which was applied to the wall (paint should have been strained) • Paint on the woodwork and screens • Failure to remove all of the switchplates and paint under them • Paint splattered on an outdoor decorative planter • Paint spilled on outdoor pavers • Missed areas where the old paint is still visible • Sloppy painting (lines that are not straight and paint drips) Lastly, the painters placed their water bottles on the stained windowsill in the living room, leaving behind water rings. The windowsill had to be refinished, costing hundreds of dollars. Once we became aware of the many problems with the quality of the work, we contacted Five Star Painting regarding our complaint. They wanted to try to fix the problems but we did not want them to return because, as I noted earlier, one of their previous attempts to fix things actually made the problem worse. We requested a refund of at least half of the amount that we paid them but it was denied.

Great experience, job started quickly and was completed within the quoted time frame, very professional staff. Would definitely use again!

We hired Five Star Painting to paint the entire exterior of our house, based on the recommendation of a neighbor; Five Star Painting also repaired and painted a large section of interior ceiling that had experienced some water damage. My husband and I are very pleased with the outcome: the high quality of the work and the professionalism of everyone from the owners to the work crew. We liked their “can do” response to requests made during the job and their genuine desire to please us from beginning to end - from setup to cleanup. We would certainly use them again in any future painting project.

Excellent! All I have to do is ask once and Mr. Robin Green makes it happen. I don't have time to be discussing things. I need a company that knows what needs to be done. I call him, I ask once and the next thing I know, the work is done. Five Star Painting is my Go-To company for the Town of Morrisville.

Fantastic experience with every member of Five Star Painting we worked with! AJ came for the initial estimate and was professional, friendly, and ook his time making sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. He got the estimate back to us quickly and both he and Robin were very helpful answering a few questions over the phone. Scheduling was easy and Ellison and his crew worked efficiently and were very careful to keep everything clean and tidy up at the end of each day. Once the job was complete not only did Ellison do a full walkthrough to make sure we were satisfied but both AJ and Robin checked in as well. When we actually moved in a few weeks later they even came back to fix a few spots that we hadn't seen on the walkthrough. Overall excellent experience and we would definitely hire them again.

I have a wrought iron fence surrounding my entire property (1.3 acres), and it had not been painted in decades. Peeling, rusty, worn, the fence, while structurally intact, was in great disrepair and needed significant work. Five Star's expert team worked for days cleaning, sanding, priming, and painting and did a stellar job. Whenever they ran into unforeseen issues, the company alerted me and Robin and I looked at the issue in detail and worked in unison to find an affordable solution. The end result is stellar and the painting team was expert, polite, tidy, and great with my dog. I will use them again for my next paint job.

The group was very professional. They arrived on time, worked hard each day, and finished on time.

The entire process was well organized. We knew exactly what was to happen at each step along the way. Communication was punctual and occurred at the right times. Quality of work was top notch and thorough. My expectations and the expectations of the whole team were extremely compatible with each other. Great experience.

Splattered paint. Little to no taping. Left water running in our yard and trash on the ground. Called the owner, he said he wanted to send me a gift card.... I said f/u I don't want a gift card I want my house to be painted correctly to go on the market. Told him he needed to call my wife who was at home and could have let him come help. He didn't bc he was scared. Never heard from them again. Horrible service. 0 stars.

they are super thorough from the quote to the set up/clean up and completion of work. they are upfront about every detail of the job and they do not leave until you are happy. they have painted for me more than once and they will be the ones I call anytime I need any painting anywhere in the future. they are five star :)

It went exceptionally well. We were pleased from the initial meeting with the rep to end clean up with the crew. Very professional. Definitely would hire again,

Overall, happy with the end results, but very frustrated with the project process. None of the staff spoke/understood English. The "Project Manager" the company sent out to interface with me, while very nice, always told me to call the company office to express any concerns. What's the point of communicating with the Project Manager, if I still have to call the office. When I voiced a concern about poor coverage on a door, the painter argued, stating the contract was only good for one coat. If I'm paying $5k for a job, I don't want to argue with someone who can't speak English. The fact is, that I raised the issue about the sales guy quoting only one coat for the trim, because I wanted a great job done. His words were that I only need one coat for trim, because it was in great shape.

Received an estimate, scheduled the work, and was onsite about to setup the job when he left. Everything was relatively good until this point. The scheduling, punctuality, and communication all seemed satisfactory enough. The owner essentially “took his ball and went home”. After asking him why he took an action in my garage that he did not communicate previously would be taken, he told me he “didn’t need this” and was “doing me a favor”. He had just outlined to me the access he would need five minutes prior, but changed the plan without asking. I was literally only at home to give him this garage access under my supervison. Not so he could unilaterally decide to disconnect garage door openers, climb over person property, and leave the door unsecured. Again, I was home to provide whatever access would be needed for the job. I realize the company has excellent ratings on Angies List and everyone has a different experience. However, this was about the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen. I do not know if something was happening in his personal life, or he was looking for an excuse to bail on this small job, but anyone working in any service business would not take such abrupt action so easily.

This is the 2nd time we have used 5-Star and will be using them again for all future painting. They are punctual, professional, and communicate. You always hear "you get what you pay for." With 5-Star, you get more than you pay for. It is rare enough to find a company that performs an exceptional job, but to find one where integrity is a part of their core values is exceptional.

Trent was very quick to provide our quote and responsive to my many questions and clarifications. He was able to get us put on their schedule very quickly and met me at the house on the day of painting to confirm all the details again. The whole crew worked quickly and the job was completed sooner than expected. One of the owners Robin did our walk through and ensured they touched up a couple of small things at our request. Overall great service and pricing. Will use again for future painting needs.

On time, courteous, and the perfect paint job without a mess. They were quick to respond to my request and got me on the schedule within one week. I will be using 5 Star again in the future and highly recommend.

I have used Five Star for multiple things and I am always happy! They come in the spring and clean my gutters and pressure wash the house. When I moved in they painted the entire interior of the house and I had them paint and repair my deck. I was pleased with everything and love that they are kind of a one stop shop! I would definitely recommend and will continue to use them going forward! I actually plan on having them come in and help with scraping my ceilings soon and painting my kitchen remodel.
