It went well. Bob was nice, and the workers were also very nice and professional. I wish the price was lower, but I was pleased with everything.

Went well. Prompt communication was somewhat lacking once the order and payment was made. Scheduling an actual install date didn't happen until I reached out. I felt like I had to manage the project for it to be completed. Overall, windows look great and Bob was a pleasure to work with. Outside of some communication issues, A+

We entered into a contract in mid-July. The windows and doors were ready in early August. By mid-August, they came out to install. On the day of install, one of the workers broke the bottom sash of one of our new windows and it shattered on our sunroom floor. They did clean it up (thankfully). Also, our sliding glass door was installed but the install was incomplete. The track on it wasn't working, so we couldn't open/close the door. We were told they would order new parts and would be back in a couple of weeks to install. By the second week of September, we started calling for an update. It took them awhile to get back to us and when they did, they kept telling us to wait for the parts. Then they told us the parts came in at mid-September. The morning of install, they called me back again and said they had the wrong parts, so we'd have to wait again for install. Two weeks later and we haven't heard anything, so we start calling and emailing again with no responses over a week. Growing increasingly frustrated, we started searching for alternative numbers. We were finally able to reach the owner on his cell, who notified us that they would be out to install the following Monday (early October). They did install on that Monday and did a good job. The windows are great and the price was good. I was just upset by the lack of communication by this company. We wanted to know what was going on, when parts would be available, and didn't appreciate the difficulty in reaching them. It felt like they were just continually putting us on the back burner because we already paid for everything. I'm glad the windows are done and I'm happy with them, but we won't be using this company in the future.

I did not use them. There was no cost for the estimate. I did not use them so I really can't grade them. They were good. I mean, it was a woman. She was very nice as I remember. Yeah, they were fine. The price was the thing. It was high, I thought and maybe justifiably so, but I thought that their quote was high. I thought that their price compared to other quotes I had was the highest. They were very responsive and very punctual. They were very professional.

Bob and his team were punctual, responsive, and efficient. They worked around my homeschooling wife and 4 kids. Bob was communicative throughout the process and answered all our questions. The quality of work and windows is fabulous. The windows look great and they live up to all the claims regarding, heat, sound, etc. We love them and highly recommend Bob and Clear Choice!

Everything about my experience with Bob and his team was very professional. I shopped other providers including local big box stores but Bob took the time to go through all the details of the windows he had and made solid recommendations based on my needs. The were a little more expensive then the others but I believe you get what you pay for and I found them to be very quality windows. The day of the install the guys were on time and polite. They were extremely efficient in removing the old, installing the new, and making it look like they were never there. Have had them almost a month now and am very pleased with the results.

From the quote to the installation the whole process couldn't have been better. We recently bought a 1968 split level with its original windows. This home is on a very busy street and I work from home. Often while in the office I felt like I was sitting in the middle of an intersection. Most of the windows were painted shut, none had screens, and I could feel air (and heat) passing through them. I wasn't really excited about getting new windows, I was worried about cost and time it would take to install. I had called 2 places for quotes and Clear Choice was the second place I called. Bob was able to work with my schedule and come over on a weekend do give a quote. I was so impressed with his product and professionalism that I decided to go with him and cancelled my other appt later in the week. The price was under what I was expecting and I even purchased 3 triple pane windows for the upstairs office and bed room to further help with noise reduction. The installers showed up exactly when they were scheduled and they were able to complete the job in 1 day, every windows works perfectly, looks beautiful, and no mess. Seriously never thought I would be excited about windows but I am! As I type this in my office I am enjoying the quiet!

Clear Choice did an excellent job. The owner was great to work with on the sale and the installer did an excellent job. Everything was done on schedule as committed and with exceptional quality. We will be using them again to replace additional windows. With all of this, Clear Choice was also the most cost effective provider.

Clear choice provides great product and better service. It was quick the service was exceptional. They left nothing behind and did great work. His crews work for clear choice, they are not subcontractors. Mike provided a fair estimate as the owner of the company he didn't use high pressure sales or act like a bad vacuum cleaner salesman. Mike came the day of the install to make sure all was well and check if we were happy. This is a great company!

My wife and I had planned on replacing our 25 windows for some time. The house was built in 1997, and many of the windows had lost their "seal" over the years. We did a research of window replacement companies on the Internet, reviewed their products, as well as reading the reviews from their customers. We had five presentations from area window professionals, some of the presentations good, some bad. We were just about to give up, when we came across the Clear Choice ad in "Angie's List Monthly". Called, left a message. Bob Maceda returned my call, gave a good sales pitch over the phone on why we should hire him. Set up an appointment for a Saturday morning. Bob showed up on time, gave a great, and thorough presentation. His product, and his price, was in-line with our budget. We signed the deal that day It was a two day project, and Installation went very well. The installers were friendly, through, and cleaned up before they left We would recommend the company to anyone who is thinking about a window replacement project Toni & Mike

The installers arrived on time and went straight to work. The two gentlemen worked very efficiently and results appeared very quickly as windows came out and were replaced by the new vinyl windows. Some of our sills were in bad shape and these were replaced with new wood. I almost docked a point on the price but decided not to and here's why. The replacement of the windows is only part of the service they provide. Once the new window is installed, sealed and insulated, these craftsmen form painted tin frames to wrap around and over the sills. These are nailed into place, sealed, and the nails painted. The tops of these new sills have steps in them to replicate the decorative effects of a moulded wood. Very nice. These new window sills should never need replacement, and definitely not for rot. Just hose off and go. This part of the installation makes the price make a lot more sense. Lifetime guarantee, transferable. That's good. The last time I replaced my windows I wound up selling my house and moving (for work).

The whole job went smoothly. The owner came and offered his estimate for work and the time frame to manufacture and install the windows. We accepted and the job went exactly as planned. We are pleased.

Bob did an excellent explanation of the different window options. Promptly provided a quotes after a though walk-thru. Windows installation was flawless. We are very pleased with the results. The new windows may a significant difference in the comfort level of the our home.

Great. Could not have asked for better service. There was only one small hiccup (one window came from the factory without a screen) But Bob spent ten minutes on the phone and had one shipped to us 2 business days later. Bob is great to work with and hires great people who are courteous and know their craft well. I have highly recommended this service already to several acquaintances.

We had multiple groups come out to give us estimates and were most impressed by Bob. He was punctual and detail-oriented. The estimate and timeline were also the most reasonable. Knowing that we were trying to put the house in market asap while hitting the holidays, Bob did all he could to have everything done in a short time frame. The work was done beautifully. Clear Choice Windows delivered and we are compelled to leave this review.

Bob came to our home to look at a window we have been having issues with. We assumed at this point that it needed to be replaced however Bob was honest and quickly noticed that our issue is because the window was installed upside during construction. He did provide us a quote for the work if we went with their company to flip the window. We are going to reach out to the builder prior to repairing on our own but if we end up needing to have it done on our own we will for sure use Clear Choice.

I have not made a decision whether to proceed or not with the services. Not due to the vendor.

Bob, the owner of the company was very prompt and friendly and went through all the window options for me. It was not high pressure and he did not try to sell me on more expensive options. He was very aware and concerned about not running up costs unnecessarily. He followed up often to see how things were going. We did have a short delay due to the wrong size windows being delivered for the bedroom, but otherwise everything went very smoothly. I would highly recommend his company!

They came out on Tuesday, September 29th early in the morning. He went to work removing all of the windows and installing the new ones. He had to go back around and put in the screws and caulk everything. He was very polite and worked very well. After it was all done he came into the house and showed me how to use all the features on the windows. He organized all the old windows and stacked everything into the trailer. He cleaned up all of the space he had used. I love all the new windows. They are so clear. They are a great company to do business with!

My wife and I are very pleased with the job Clear Choice did at our house. We received quotes from five different companies and were most impressed with Bob's presentation. You can tell Bob cares about his business since he makes house calls himself to sell his product. He is direct and doesn't play games, which I appreciate. The installers were polite and clearly cared about getting the job done correctly. Bob even showed up during the install to make sure everything was going as planned. My first, and likely only, call will be to Bob when it is time to replace the windows on the back of our house. If you want a quality product and expect terrific customer service, go with Clear Choice.

I had shopped around a bit before calling Bob. Lots of people pointed me towards Window World and I thought that I would go with them; until I saw their product. The Window World windows seemed cheaply made and felt flimsy to me. I called up Bob @ Clear Choice because he also has great reviews here on Angies List; and I was hoping that he would have a better product than his competitors. He does. The windows that Bob provided feel all around much sturdier and better produced than other windows I had looked at. The frame, the latches, everything. Originally I was just looking at replacing a single window in our kitchen. But based on the great experience meeting with Bob, his affordable pricing, and his finance options, I decided to pull the trigger on replacing all of the windows in our home and a slider door. I went with triple pane windows instead of the more common double pane option. The extra pane of glass provides superior insulating properties, and also sound dampening. This was actually a very affordable upgrade through Clear Choice, and I would definitely recommend people look into it. Bob went out of his way to install our kitchen window early ahead of the other windows we ordered, to make sure that it was taken care of before some unrelated kitchen remodeling work went ahead. The remainder of the windows were installed on the day and time that Bob said they would be. The crew that came out to install them was fantastic. It was a large crew that has clearly been working together for a long time. They all worked independently and cooperatively as needed throughout the day replacing all of our windows. Each window was replaced, insulated, and wrapped beautifully. The crew was very courteous and pleasant to be around, and as a bonus they finished the job earlier than I expected. I definitely recommend that you include Clear Choice in your replacement windows discussions.

We first met Bob Maceda of Clear Choice Windows when we were looking for gutter guards for our home. After having checked out all the other gutter guards, we liked Rhino Gutter Guards the best, and Bob was selling and installing them. We went with him, and the gutter guards were installed by a wonderful team. Because of that great experience, when we went looking to upgrade our remaining wooden-framed windows and their storms, we gave Bob a good look. We did homework for three consecutive home shows in 18 months in Raleigh to find the best value, and we settled on Bob and Clear Choice. There were many other choices for windows; some were less expensive and many were more expensive. We realized that if you upgraded the less expensive windows to the Clear Choice basic window, Clear Choice was a great value. Throw in the previous experience we had with Bob having a real good team that installed the Rhino Gutter Guards, and we went with Clear Choice. We had 16 windows installed, 7 of them were triple pane 73" tall and the other 9 were double pane 37" & 53" tall. We also had two locks installed on the 7 triple-pane ones, instead of one. Once the windows were manufactured and ready, we scheduled them to be installed, allotting two days due to needing to remove storm windows from all 16 windows. His team arrived right on time on the day scheduled, and were incredible. Even with the lunch break (we had pizza delivered and we all chatted for a bit), all 16 windows were installed and wrapped in one day. They cleaned up after themselves, removing all the old windows and storms, and all debris. The only way you knew they were there was the business sign they left and the wonderful new windows. We waited a few weeks to write this so we could comment on the windows. We LOVE them. We wish we had known about them several years ago when we had other work done including 10 new windows installed. These windows were about the same price and are MUCH better. We HIGHLY recommend Bob Maceda and Clear Choice Windows (and his Rhino Gutter Guards). We truly believe the windows and their installation are the best value in the area.
