I thought they did a very good job in a timely manner.

Overall, we were happy with their service. It really seemed that they were focused on making sure we were completely satisfied with their work. I would have no problem hiring them again.

The workers were nice and did a good job. However the manager didn't spend much time with the workers letting them know what to do. Some of the workers didn't speak English so it was hard to communicate with them. The manager never checked up on the job either over the next 4 days. The very first day the manager dropped them off at my home, the worker had the wrong color of paint. They lost a whole day of work, and the workers said that CertaPro made them pay for the paint. It wasn't their fault, either. Out of the money I paid, the workers said they got $1200.00. I have no way of verfifying that this is true, but it still concerned me. I would not recommend CertaPro.

Overall it went well. I believe Guy underestimated the time it would take to complete the job.

They were good, but the next time, I think I'll have them roll the paint instead of spraying. Also, they cleaned their brushes in some shrubs by a creek near my house.

They had a financing option where I could pay with no interest. They are connected with a financing bank which specializes in construction loans and the bank that they are affiliated with lets you take a loan for 12 months interest free as long as it is paid off. We had a few small mishaps. They sprayed water in my electrical outlets and I had to get that fixed but they picked up. They had a few hiccups but they were very professional and they rectified everything. They accepted the blame and they paid for it. In that particular instance I had insurance from a local electrical company so they came out and did the work for nothing. They took a $100 off my total charge just as a courtesy. They were good at making things right. They met the price of all the other contractors. The quality of painting is hard to review right away as you catch something later and then your whole impression changes. It seems like the quality was good. There were a few hiccups, the guy who sold me the work apparently quit and when I tried to get hold of him he was not picking the calls. Later they called and apologized and told me that the guy who I was dealing with wasn't there anymore. They painted my garage door in and I couldn't open it but they came the next day and fixed it. They were here when they said they were going to be here.

They were responsive. They came out pretty quick after I called and gave me a comprehensive quote with additional information. They have a 2-year warranty on their painting and work.

They gave a quote that was too high.

We are very happy with them. They were on time. They were very professional. They did a good job. I can't remember how much we spent on the work. We would use them again in the future.

Really good. I liked that Guy always returned my phone calls promptly.

We did not use them. They were very professional but we actually had someone that gave us a much better estimate.

Overall, it went OK hence the B overall rating.. We felt the patching and repaining could have been done a little better (we could see some of the patching tape after the painting). Also, we have a fairly high vaulted ceiling, and some of the attention to detail on the paint lines along the wall and ceiling needed to be caulked to give it a smooth line.

Excellent. Very organized, hard workers, the dog (whom is a real b**ch)loved this team.

The painters made more mess than I had ever experienced. Dust covered everything in the house (after they "cleaned up" and left). We paid our housekeeper double the price (they stayed twice as long) to clean it up. The paint job really wasn't very good. The roller nap marks are evident and the ceiling is streaky. The main headquarters was distressed about the bad outcome (they kept calling), but the local franchise operator never contacted me.

Their quote was higher than the other company who we decided to use but I wouldn't hesitate to call them again in the future.

The work was completed in the time frame estimated; however, the painters showed up several hours late on the second day and did not call to tell me they would be late. Also, the painters cleaned their brushes in my bushes, instead of a proper drainage facility.

Bob Troxler came out and gave an estimate, the work was done promptly and without any problems. The workers moved my deck furniture and replaced it afterwards. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themselves.

They were good. They even power washed my deck and sealed my deck.

We are somewhat new to the area and used Angie's List to get estimates and select a contractor. As with probably all contractors, they sub out all the work. I was very pleased with the sales/estimation process and although CertaPro was more expensive than if we had sub'd the work ourselves, and piece of mind was worth the price. The construction subs were fantastic. Punctual, professional, and they did excellent work. While rain delayed the paint subs (and we were very flexible with scheduling) they never showed up when they said they would, call when they said they would and always appeared to be in a rush to finish their work (and our 10 yr old trim needed attention to be done right the first time). We had to call CertaPro to have the paint job cleaned up in some areas and re-done in others. The owner of the company personally came out to inspect the work, with his sub, which I greatly appreciated, but then never followed up to make sure the work was now satisfactory. That would have been okay, but he told me he'd personally come back and make sure the work was done right. Instead, we only got an invoice. These subs did leave trash behind, damaged an exhaust-vent hood during pressure-washing, and used our patio furniture as step-stools (I went out and handed them a step stool to use). My entire career is in customer service and so I often give folks in the business the benefit of the doubt. The experience that I had during the sales/selection process made me comfortable spending the extra money for great service/work, and like mentioned above the construction crew was superb, but I'd be more inquisitive with regards to the paint subs and be sure to check *their* references. The workers were very nice. They did come back and correct their work, and it looks nice now, but in the end, it wasn't the piece of mind I had expected/experienced at the beginning of the sales process, what I felt I had paid for. I'm not unhappy with CertaPro, because the work itself finished as "good" and the owner did make an effort to respond quickly to my displeasure with the initial paint job. But I'd think twice before spending the extra money for piece of mind. CertaPro needs a better handle on their subs and their performance, because it ultimately reflects on them.

The crew was punctual and did a good job preparing the paint surfaces. They covered areas which could get paint drips. After the paint dried, I noticed some areas that were missed or needed to be repainted. I called CertPro, and they sent the same crew back the following day to touch up the missed areas. The second time they came to paint they were not as careful about not getting paint on the floors, trim, etc. They told me that the areas in question looked that way because of flaws in the wall. They told me that they were going to put another coat on all of the walls. When I told them that they may not have enough paint since they only left about a third of a can of paint with me, surprisingly, they had more of our paint than what they left me with the previous day.

Guy Troxler, the CertaPro representative who came out to give an estimate, was right on time. He was professional from start to finish, asking if I needed any help picking colors or if I had already decided on which colors I wanted. We talked about the best paint to use and he recommended one that looks wonderful on the walls. He walked off the rooms, went out to his truck, and came back in with the estimate, which listed separate pricing for extra coats on the wall, in case we felt they needed it. He told me he didn't think they would, given the original color of the walls as compared to the colors we were choosing (they didn't). He informed me that they were booking 6 weeks out, and they were there to paint 6 weeks later, as promised. The painters were on time, efficient, professional, and genuinely nice people. They covered all our furnishings and cleaned up nicely before they left.

Great job from beginning to end. My only complaint would be that the price seemed quite high. I couldn't wait for a "neighborhood guy" any longer and he was going to do them for $30 a vent ($60 total).

After my initial inquiry by phone, I was contacted within 24 hours, if not less. For the estimating, Mr. Troxler arrived on time and was helpful in assisting with our decisions on colors, etc. He gave us a quote that explained everything we could think of. The only negative is that on the day of the job, they arrived a 1/2 late, but they made up for it by completing the job in about 6 hours. At one point they had 8 men there, since an exterior job had cancelled due to weather. They were professional from beginning to end, covering up the entire house, prepping, painting and cleanup. They moved the big furniture back near where it was originally and before prepping, even asked if we were going to rehang the pictures where they originally were so that they do not spackle up those nail holes. They determined that one room needed a second coat and did that for no charge. The paint job is wonderful.

I was very pleased the the final out come. Bob Troxler was on time to give me an estimate and the painting team was on time to begin the task. They finished painting and did an excellent job on the clean up. I would (and already have ) recommend Certapro Painters to friends.

We were very pleased with the work that Rafael and his crew did for us. Some of the wallpaper was difficult to remove, but they made the finished walls look great. I added a couple things to the job after they were almost done, and they were happy to do them for me. They worked from 9-6 with a short lunch break for the three days it took to finish the work. They cleaned up each evening before they left, and protected the rugs and furniture and left no paint where it didn't belong. Rafael and his crew were polite, professional, and pleasant, and I would recommend they to anyone needing interior painting.
