Our roof lost a few shingles in a storm and the gutter on the back of the house was damaged. We found Consolidated Building Systems on Angie's List and called them for an estimate. David came out the next morning and gave us a thorough assessment of the work required. He followed up by email the same day with a written estimate, and included a listing of references with phone numbers and a copy of his Workman's Comp and General Liability documentation. We accepted his proposal and 2 days later our gutter was replaced and the work on the roof was completed as planned on the next business day. The entire team was very professional and easy to work with. They arrived as scheduled and the work was completed in a timely fashion. They took extra care to make sure they hadn't missed any loose shingles. We were very pleased with David and his team, their work was completely satisfactory and we will definitely use them again.

Dave was very proactive in setting up the appointment, arrived on time, and were on the roof and working within a few minutes. They replaced the shingles and the flashing around some vents (one of which was cracked and causing our leak), and let me know that my gutters were clean. Dave asked if I wanted him to provide me with a quote to replace a section of my gutter on the back of the house. I asked him to do so and had one the next day for that specific section - not that section and a price for the whole gutter system. This was a couple of weeks ago and Dave has not bugged me once about that quote. Dos: Use CBS Don'ts: none

CBS did an amazing job. They were very professional and very thorough. David carefully explained everything that need to be done.His was the only company that suggested replacing our 25 year old skylights because of leakage around them. This was a difficult job because of temperatures above 100 degrees and high humidity. But, that didn't stop them or halt their progress. GREAT JOB!

It has rained since they came and there was no leaking. They were polite prompt friendly and did a great job.

The quote was about $3500. The guy was very professional and knowledgeable. I have actually hired him, but he hasn't done the work yet. I think it's the season to get the roofs done. He seemed to be competitively priced. I would use him in the future depending on how it turns out.

I contacted this company for an estimate to repair a leaky roof. I was told that they have a flat charge for the most common repair work and it was very affordable ($180). I scheduled a time for the work and was told that they would call when they were in the neighborhood. I ended up receiving a call several days early because CBS had someone on my area. We made plans for them to arrive, however we had to run some errands. The repairman arrived promptly, did all of the work on the outside, and noted that it would require more work than a typical repair. The price quoted for this more involved repair was fair ($380) and was completed in less than one hour. He even replaced some missing shingles while on the roof at no extra cost. I received my invoice via email before the repairman was even done on the roof. I paid by check to the repairman and have been very pleased with the quality of the work.

This small company is incredibly responsive to requests, essentially very oriented to customer service and high quality work. Also, the crew was courteous, neat, and several of them spoke great english. I would recommend David Raymer to anyone needing a new roof.

I have several properties and knowing good service contractors is a must. I had roofing replaced pontwo houses by two different contractors. Both did poor work and caused more costly repairs to be done because of the poor quality work. I have been blessed since then to fine DavidRayhmer the owner of Consolidated Building Systemss in Apex, N.C. They do foofing, siding, and gutters. That was several years ago and CDS has done many jobs for me, I have always been pleased with the quality of their work. Any one who knows me knows that I always expect quality work.l Some times contractors begin to take their customers forgranted after long relationships; but, not CDS. I was unexpectly pleased with the last two jobs. This company just gets better and better. One of the jobs included replacement and boxoing also. I know experience from previous jobs that I did not need to be on site during the work. As always, I was pleased on the completeion of the job. The next day, David called normal and wanted to meetr me and do his own inspection. The special roofing was great, and the new boxing was more that satisfactory; however, David was nogt as pleased as I was. The nexgt dayh his crfew showed up, completely replaced all of the newly installed boxing. At no cost to me. If uyou are unsure of what intgrity means, this is it. On the other job, a tree blew over on the house, doing roof and gutter damage. I called the tree service, Trees of Caroline, also a good contractor and the job was complete the next day. Consolidated Building Systems give that same treatment to a small job as they do to the larger more profitalbe job, that is rare in todays market and says much about David's business values.

David was very helpful in selecting the new shingles. Workmen arrived early in the morning and were finished and cleaned up late the same afternoon. There was no damage to my house, shrubbery, or lawn. At the time we had the roof replaced, CBS Roofing was offering a 10 year warranty. About 3 weeks before the 10 year-warranty was to expire, we had a leak around some flashing where the garage meets the house. David came out immediately, found the problem, and made the repairs. We would definitely use CBS Roofing again..

Due to weather conditions, a few weeks elapsed from time of estimate to time of work. I had received estimates from 3 providers and chose CBS based on discussion with Mr. Raynor (who had been recommended by a neighbor.) The major work was done in about 2 days as I recall (roof on home). They crew was diligent and also cleaned up the area after. A couple of other small items were also taken care of.

David Raymer and by extension his company were absolute tops in professionalism, delivery of services agreed to, references, guidance on optimal products to use, promptness, quality of workmanship, and follow-up. We have receommended David and Consolidated Building Systems to others in the area and give him the highest ratings. Three years after the job we are still highly pleased with the work CBS peformed for us.

They did a good job. They did the work as promised and the clean up was good. After it was done I tried to get in touch with them over a few minor things and they did not respond to my satisfaction. Overall, the work was good. They use good materials and everything is fine healthy and dry.

My husband was very pleased with him. He was prompt and showed up on time. He came in consistent with the estimate.

Reroof of 2-story, 4 bedroom colonial house. Job went outstanding. Crew arrived on time as scheduled ready to work. Supplies were delivered one day prior. Experienced crew of fourteen (14) workers arrived and completed entire job in one day. Work was originally scheduled for 2 days. Contractor and foreman were courteous and easy to work with. The crew was very experienced and worked smoothly together. Worked without a break until noon. They took exactly one hour lunch break and back to work. Finished the entire roof job by 3:30 PM. The entire clean up was accomplished by 4:00 PM. Crew used tarps to cover bushes and magnets to find all nails.
