The half-dozen times or so we've called Sparrow and Sons, it's always gone well.

Previous owner had taken the tool that came with the new faucet that was needed to do the repair, but the plumber from Sparrow & Sons had it in his truck and was able to complete the repair quickly.

We've always used Sparrow and Sons.. Terry Sparrow is the best! They are responsive to us and very professional. Appreciate all they do!

Great service to use if you know little about plumbing and current options and would like recommendations from trust-worthy professionals. Over the phone, Sparrow & Sons salesperson listened to description of problem with current toilet and recommended reasonably-priced E-max replacement toilet which I could check out on Toto's website. Sparrow & Sons handled ordering the new toilet & called me for installation appointment once they received it. Plumber who came to install toilet took time to diagnose problem with old toilet. Replacement of floor tile in Dec 2010 had caused gap which prevented effective flushes - toilet was regularly getting clogged every 5-6 months after floor tile replacement. Back in 2006, plumber from a different plumbing company had recommended replacement of the Elijer low-flush toilet due to its curvy (rather than straight) trapway and narrow flush valve. If I remember correctly, the cost for the 2014 S&S job ($750) was much less than the 2006 replacement toilet quote from the other plumbing company. Plumber recommended fix for problem & asked for my approval (extra cost) which I gave. Plumber had lots of experience and patience and took pride in doing the job correctly (not just getting the job over with), an attitude which I appreciate. Since the old plumbing service I formerly used no longer has a Durham location, I plan to use Sparrow & Sons for future plumbing jobs if they provide the needed plumbing service.

Sparrow Plumbing corrected the work done by another plumber who used the wrong part in my Grohe shower fixture that compounded an existing problem and made a leak worse. Sparrow correctly diagnosed the problem and made it right. Their plumbing work is top rate, but quality does come at a price. They are not cheap. But, I have seen you get what you pay for. My only problem was their scheduling. Twice my appointment 'fell off the books'. I will continue to use them - they do great work - but I have learned to call the day before to confirm my appointment.

Sim arrived when he said he would and examined the toilet tank. He discovered that there were two items in the tank that needed to be replaced. He replaced these items, tested out the toilet which worked perfectly. I would definitely use Sparrow and Sons again...especially Sim, who came to the condo when he said he would and fixed the toilet.

The first crew cleaned out the drain line within hours of the call Several days later the line was plugged again They came back as soon as we reported problem and ran the cleaner way down the line No problems since. Billed for 1st trip billed for second trip Called and pointed out they had billed for repeat trip. Immediately issued a credit for the second trip The fellows were professional, used all sorts of plastic, etc to protect under the sink, etc. AND, the plumbers, in addition to be competent, were very friendly What more can you ask for?

This great company is a 5th generation family owned firm. They responded to my initial request for quote in less than 24 hours, provided written estimate, and did the work with speed, accuracy, and determination to solve all issues from the original all electric how water system installed when our home was built in 2006. Savings to date are $150 to $200 per month. They simply are top drawer. I speak from experience having owned HVAC, Electrical, and Piping firms earlier in my life.

Very quick. He had the necessary parts and was finished quickly. I've used Sparrow for decades. They are always available, do good work, and charge reasonable rates.

They did a great job ahead of time talking with us about our options and gave us plenty of information so we could make an informed choice. The removal of the old water heater and installation of new one went smoothly. They were prompt and professional.

My sump pump wasn't working and we had heavy rains. Sparrow came out right away and traced the source of the problem, which was complicated. They replaced the old valve system

He found the leak and struggled mightily against cramped spaces to repair it in an hour or so.

I was having an issue getting my Garbage disposal to turn on. Turns out it just needed to be reset which was what I thought it was. I could not get it to reset myself but apparently the motor has to "cool" down or something. Anyway the plumber fixed the issue quickly and advise me what to do next time. He apologized for the cost of the service since it took him all of like 1 min to fix.Their quick response to any situation I have had and professionalism is something I appreciate. They told me up front it would be 98$ as thats home much a call is, so I was prepared. I have had them respond to other issues I have had and they have always been reasonable in their cost and extremely prompt to calls. Any time I have a plumbing issue I call them first.

great! I called them after hours, and they gave me a very easy fix to get me through the night so that they wouldn't have to charge me the emergency call rate for an after hours visit!. The next day they were prompt, quick, and polite. I'll always call them when I need help.

I live in a little town in the middle of no where. It is hard to get folks to come out to provide service. Even though Sparrow and Sons is about 30 miles away, they came out to give us some help. Our plumber was very knowledgeable and very courteous.We had a weird leak that was showing up on our living room ceiling. They fixed it and showed us what had happened with the loose fittings inside the wall. Who knew??

Sparrow is a high quality operation. They always do a good job.
