Sparrow and Sons gave us a great quote for a 65 year old sump pump that absolutely needed to be replaced. We ended up replacing the sump pump, water heater, and iron pipes in the house crawl space. A crew spent three days on the work. Jonathan, Edgar, and all of the workers were a pleasure to work with. They were responsive and completed all work in a timely fashion, cleaned up the work area, and came in at the quoted amount for the work. Highly recommend!

We needed to replace pipes used by the developer when the property was built in the 80s. The piping was made of an inferior material that cracks over time. The plumbers were thoughtful about how the work was done to eliminate disruptions and to minimize access holes. They did the job quickly, although they needed a call to finish a detail of the job. We used them for other jobs and they've always been on top of it, so we didn't think too much of it this time. They're sometimes running late for appointments but they do call and provide an ETA if they're delayed (generally tied up at another job). Their plumbers are courteous and efficient. We definitley recommend them.

It was a very simple tap into a water line to attach to a new fridge with an ice maker. The man who did the work showed up 45 minutes late, but I was still charged as if he had shown up on time. I was absolutely shocked when I got the invoice. It was about three times the price I was expecting. I called and asked for an itemized invoice, and got another invoice showing only the total charge. I called again and asked for an itemized invoice, and this time it was broken up into "parts" and "labor." I have no idea what parts they charged me for, how they calculate their bills, and why such a simple project cost so much. I do know I was charged for 2.5 hours of labor and he was only here for about an hour. I will look for a different company to use for plumbing in the future.

We've had Sparrow do all kinds of little plumbing repairs. A while back we had a major pipe broke and it caused a lot of water damage downstairs in our house. One reason I like to recommend Sparrow is it was about 7 o'clock on Friday evening, we were downstairs in the bedroom we had downstairs and we noticed that the rug was feeling damp. So as we stormed around there was a huge wet spot. We didn't know where the water was coming from. we didn't know what was going on. So we called Sparrow Plumbing and they came over. They sent just one guy over. This is Friday evening. It's dark. So this guy came over and he was like a bulldog after quail. He was fending around the house trying to diagnose different possible sources for the leak. He checked the meter and he saw that the water meter wasn't running so it must be something else. He basically discovered that the drain from our kitchen sink, down below the drain, one of the pipes had rusted out. Water was coming down inside the walls the downstairs room. He felt around and discovered where there was and he cut out a piece of our drywall and found where the actual leak in the pipe was and repaired the leaking pipe. So this is all at night. So by the time he left, the leak was fixed. The damage wasn't fixed but the leak was fixed. He was just very skilful and he worked quickly and got the job done.

I was very impressed with them. They're quality and their prices were top-notch. They are used quite often in my community. I chose them because they were rated highly, and word-of-mouth that they were a very good company that didn't charge people an outrageous price. They practically rebuilt the dishwasher. It was one that I had inherited from the previous owner. Instead of having to purchase a new one all they had to do was replace a few parts and it's as good as new. I'm happy with that. A lot of people in my town feel the same way. That's why they're practically the number one plumbing service around.

He told us what we would need to do for 2 different plans we had for moving bathroom fixtures and helped us inspect the current plumbing to verify that he didn't see anything unusual that might create problems. We haven't done the work yet, but we're in the process of finalizing the plan.

It went very well. They replaced the thermocouple in the hot water heater. The service was fast and well done. I was pleasantly surprised that the extra charge for a weekend was reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

Who knew how hard would be to get a plumber? When we needed a faucet and garbage disposal installed, it took several calls to find a plumbing service that had time for our work. I'm glad that we started calling about ten days before we needed the hook up. And I am glad that Sparrow could fit us in. They couldn't come the exact day we wanted, but they could come the next day. They arrived towards the end of the time slot they quoted us. They installed the faucet and the garbage disposal within about an hour, without making any mess or disruption. On the spur of the moment we asked them to look at the sink stopped in one of the bathrooms. The workman laughed and said that when they work at a house, the homeowner almost always asks them to check out some additional problem. He fixed the stopper--which had bedeviled us for a decade--in about five minutes. Everything Works, and Sparrow was easy to work with

The guy was like my uncle. Tommy was personable, friendly, courteous, and engaging. I even trusted to give him the code to enter the house while I wasn't there because he was so trustworthy.

Sparrow and Sons completed a plethora of task in helping us prepare a rental property for sale. The professional competence was above reproach and the personable demeanor was quite refreshing. Observing the creativity in trouble shooting unexpected obstacle was enlightening. I would not hesitate to use Sparrow and Sons again, and recommend them to anyone that needs to have plumbing work completed.

Went well. I like that Sparrow has a flat hourly rate so you can predict the final bill. First plumber was friendly and informative. Second one was more reserved. He also left the dishwasher hanging a bit low.

It appears that the shower handles were original equipment, which means that they were 40 years old. Thus is was extremely difficult to remove the handles in order to replace them. This was made even more difficult since the plumber did not have a handle puller in his truck. So her wasted about 30 minutes trying to remove the handles without the appropriate tool. Eventually, he obtained a handle puller, and then finished the job. The washer drain was cleared without incident. After discussing the issue with Sparrow, they reduced the charge to account for the problem regarding the lack of the appropriate tool.

Fine. Additional work to replace a water storage tank was also discussed. Received an estimate and will have work done.
