Initial plumber struggled with German shower controls, faucet replacement had no pressure on hot water side. Owner sent out another plumber on next business day to resolve the issues at no charge.

They were very professional and did great work.

Sparrow saved us from having to stay in a hotel over Christmas. I was stunned we could contact a plumber, let alone have one at our doorstep within an hour on Christmas eve. The cost was reasonable for an emergency, overtime, holiday visit. Thank you again.

Beyond excellent! I am new in the area and just bought my house. Courteous, professional, responsive, communicative and on-time. I think plumbing repair in general is pricey and you run the risky of poor quality if you shop for very cheap repairs and service.

A repairman was sent out quickly even though this was not an emergency. He showed up on time and completed the repairs in a totally professional manner, explaining to me exactly what needed to be done and how he was going to do it. I am completely satisfied with the service, professionalism, and quality of the work and wouldn't hesitate to call Sparrow & Sons again.

They answered the phone in person and were very courteous and concise in determining what services I needed, and whether they could perform the service. They were able to schedule me quickly and told me exactly what to expect and how they determined pricing. The service technician showed up promptly as scheduled and completed the trap removal and retrieved the earring very quickly. The whole visit lasted about a half hour and he sent us an invoice promptly. I was very happy with the service and entire experience. If I had one suggestion, it would be to allow billing and payment online (but the paper invoice was received within a week and the check I sent them was deposited very timely.) Very smooth transaction and very pleased! I will call them again next time I need a plumber.

Jonathan met with us to see what we needed. Walked the property to dicover what optionswe had and provided an accurate estimate. The jobs we completed on time and within the estimate. We would recommend them to others.

Outstanding. Jonathan came out to give an estimate on a tank-less water heater and the cost to run a gas line to the fireplace for logs. While here he fixed a couple of minor plumbing problems. I already had two estimates, one of which was from PSNC and was totally out of line. Jonathan gave me the best price ... plus there was a coupon on Angie's List for the water heater, so I went with them. Then a couple of days later I had a clogged toilet, and they were here in an hour. I found them to be friendly, fair, competent, and serious about doing the best job possible. I have recently moved to the area and am glad I found them so soon.

It went fine. I called them in the morning and they were there by the afternoon and had the leak repaired. The price was very reasonable.

"Tommy" did the work and kept us informed as to his analyses and thinking. When one approach had to be reconsidered, he informed us of the reason and his next course of action. Appreciated his candor and his professioalism. Good job. Service is a bit pricey but job well done.

Great job and instantly responsive!

They arrived within 5 minutes (early) of the appointed time. They inspected the sinks and fixed all the valves including tightening the packing within about 1/2 hour. They were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Finally, they were concerned that my house supply valve was made of a material that had been failing recently. They gave me a wrench to turn off the water at the water meter and showed me how to do it. This was outstanding service at a very reasonable cost.

Owner answered call when first called the office, said could send someone out on a Wed but we would not be there available on Wed. Owner accommodated our needs and sent someone out on Tues. Service person called before coming and arrived at the beginning of the 4 hr window we were given. Discussed issue on phone before his arrival and he had all supplies. Got right to work and finished in a timely manner. Explained everything and was very courteous.

It was very good service as usual. They came in and saw what they needed to do. They went and got the water heater and brought it back out. They had to do a good deal of rerouting of the plumbing underneath the house so that it would be more available from the crawl space when you entered at the back underneath the house. Even though I don't get into it, it makes it easier for the others.

The plumber was punctual, helpful and got the job done.Very satisfied.

I spent about $50 on the job. The price was average. They were excellent. They sent a service technician the same day that I had called. It was great because it was the holiday season. He helped me and made recommendations. I would use this company again in the future.

I called them because there was a dreadful odor in the back bathroom. It was following a cold spell and I was afraid that something had burst. When I called them they were very nice. I had to wait a few days because they were busy, but I was happy to go with them because of their recommendations. They came when they said they would and they were on time. Because of the way the crawl space is situated they were unable to get full access. The toilet needed reseating and he did a really nice job, but the smell came back. I called again and one of the owners of the company came out himself. They did not charge for coming out to get to the bottom of things. He looked into it, he was very very clear about explaing what he had to do and the process that may have to take place. He was very calm. He was able to get to the dificult space under that house and found the source of the smell which was a dead opossum and advised me what to do next. He was extremely helpful. I really appreciate the explanations that they provided and they were very thorough. I will never use another plumber.

Was informed that there was only enough hot water for about a quarter of a bath - not good. Called Sparrow & Sons Plumbers (have used them in the past) and left a message. Later this afternoon, called them again and they said they were on their way. Within an hour of arriving he was he was finished. It took longer to walk outside to turn the power off and on than it did for him to finish the work. I'm pleased with the work - hot baths will do that to me!

Very well. Friendly and helpful on the phone - only plumber to tell me that I could turn the water off at the meter with a meter key from Lowe's, saving $$ and water, and reducing the flooding in my front yard. Took a while to schedule because they are a small company and slightly out of my area. Price ended up being less than predicted on the phone.

Very knowledgeable and helpful about water heater types. Assisted greatly with making the best most cost-effective decision for our water heater replacement. Will definitely use them when we do our replacement.
