The plumber arrived on time and was very personable and professional. He had all the equipment needed. He knew immediately what the source of our leak was (old leaky spray hose in kitchen sink) and replaced it. As it happened, the replacement sprayer was faulty and he had to return a few days later and do it again, which he did at no charge.

The technician found clogging from Durham's new non-chlorine water additive, a broken pressure valve, and one burned-out element. He showed my husband everything that was causing the water heater to fail, and suggested different ideas for repairs. He was a real professional but very patient and friendly.

Sparrow charged $95 per hour, per man as they attempted to locate my lift station pump. The pump itself cost $400 so I was charged $1300 for labor. They would not negotiate these charges. As professionals they should have had some idea of where the lift station was located Over the years I have replaced the pump myself in about 20 minutes so it wasn't a big deal...In my opinion Sparrow Plumbing is not a reputable firm. I wouldn't use them again if they were the last plumber in Orange County. Save some money and look elsewhere.

I noticed a water stain on the ceiling of my dining room which is below my master bath. I cut a hole in the ceiling to see where the leak was coming form but the pipes were all dry and there was no active leak. I kept an eye on it but the stain never got bigger. A week or two later we noticed the carpet floor in the room next to the master bath upstairs was very wet. At this point I gave up, shut off the water to the house and called Sparrow and Sons the next morning. They were able to come out that afternoon. Walter and an older gentleman whose name I forget were very nice and professional. It took them a total of one hour to diagnose the leak and fix it (it was from a leaky pipe in the wall behind the master bath sink - they had to cute a small hole in the office wall to get to it). They also fixed a leak near the whole-house shut off valve. I was charged for 2 workers x 1 hour plus parts. $293 total which I think was a fair price.

Mike and crew were absolutely professional in every way. Job was done quickly and efficiently and final price was exactly as quoted before the job was performed. Mike also provided critical consultation on water heater upgrade options and methods, with no additional consultation fee. Mike and the Sparrow plumbing crew are definitely focused on customer satisfaction. I will call on them for any future plumbing needs and highly recommend their service.

Sparrow came out and gave me an estimate and then installed the system on the date agreed upon. The system is working perfectly. I got two estimates and Sparrow's was the best and I was able to use a 10% off Angies coupon. The system has also save money on my monthly electric bill from the elimination of the two electric hot water heaters. I would and will use Sparrow again for plumbing work.

David was very professional and efficient, and was very pleasant. We have used Sparrow since 2000 when they did the plumbing for the remodeling of our house. In every way, they have provided exemplary service over the years.

It was just after 4:00pm and I had had flooring done in the bathroom when they put the toliet back together it leaked. As I was having a party the next day it had to be fixed. I Called Sparrow and Sons in a panic they came out with in the hour and my toliet was fixed in less than 30 minutes. They actually have never sent me a bill. So my only complaint is trying to get the bill paid. I don't want to cheat them out of what is due this company so I will call again today and see if we can get this part fixed. The gentleman that came out was very nice knowledgable and gave me his cell in case it started giving me any issues. None so far.

We were very pleased with the people and the work done by Sparrow. Their price for replacing our water treatment system was notably less than other quotes and the new system works better and more efficiently than the one it replaced. We had one complication - when a defective fitting spontaneously broke - and Sparrow had someone here within 10 minutes to correct the problem. Nothing instills loyalty like having a problem and seeing it dealt with quickly and professionally. We were pleased enough that we promptly engaged them to replace our twin gas hot water heaters with a Rinnai tankless system. We already had access to the heating unit and Sparrow was happy to do the installation and setup. The new heater takes up a fraction of the space and is more efficient. They are fine. They are exceedingly expensive. They are very good at what they do, but they are very expensive. They were very professional about coming up on time and scheduling. They came well-prepared. The person who did all the work was really great. He was knowledgeable, but the hourly rate was too much.

We noticed a leak in the ceiling of our garage when the garage door opened and closed repeatedly by itself late one night. We located the source in our attice above the garage leaking into the u stairs bedroom and garage ceiling. We called early in the morning and there were here around 10AM. Since we shut off water to the entire house, getting quick service saved us the inconvenience of living without any water for a minimum amount of time. They located to source, fixed the leaking pipe and were gone in two hours. They did not try and sell us a new water heater. This is the second time we used them and were very happy both times both in terms of cost and quality of work. They have been great.

The technician that has worked in my house most often is called Walter, I believe. He has removed and replaced my garbage disposal, installed a pressure valve and some hot water repair. He is very intelligent as he explains what the problem is and how the work will solve the problem. He works quickly and efficiently and answers any questions I have. I feel very comfortable with his presence in my house and this is extremely valuable to me. I recommend this company and their staff to anyone without hesitation.

We were considering moving our hot water heater from the crawlspace to the garage in anticipation of encapsulating the crawlspace.The heater is 13 years old so I thought we might want to replace it at the same time. The fellow came out from Sparrow and talked with me about what it would cost. Instead of pushing to me to do it, he advised that the heater was in good shape and I could avoid moving it by putting it in a pan and plumbing the pan outside. So that's what I'm going to do. I thought it was a great of him to look out for my interest instead of maximizing his profit. I'll certainly call them again when I need work done.
